"Location "
Ian A, 06 Octobre 2018

Nothing too bad to say about this hotel, location is the biggest selling point, minutes from bus and train links, also bars, beach, supermarkets and restaurants on the doorstep. We had a room to the rear, and while we sacrificed any sort of view, it was free from any street noise. The fridge in the room was quiet, and came with water and juice, which we didn't take, as we mistakenly imagined ridiculous charges, information on this would've been helpful. On arrival we were informed that the lift had developed a problem and the contractor was awaiting parts, 7 days later the problem was still unresolved

"Stay somewhere else- bugs, bites and just not worth it"
aprilcookie, 01 Juillet 2018

I stayed here mid-June and at first thought the place was good, but soon was bitten by something all over. I thought it may be mosquitos in my room as the bites were swollen and itchy. One night and day the internet didn't work and they had to call someone to my room to fix it. One day I came home and little ants had swarmed my bathroom and were all over my toiletries. I've never seen anything like it. Someone came and sprayed the bathroom, but it was really awful - see photos. Juan les Pins is a cute town close to the beach, but there are no affordable places to eat like in Nice, Cannes or Antibes. Also, the place turns into a ghost town around 9:30pm. The front desk help was very good and nice. Kudos to them and they really tried their hardest. I do think this hotel is trying, they just aren't doing good enough for the rates that they are charging.

"Home from home!"
Andrew G, 26 Juin 2018

It takes about 4 or 5 minutes to walk to the station & when you return from sightseeing in Cannes or Nice get a cold drink in the station buffet...cheaper than in local bars...before you leave. The hotel was clean & all the staff friendly.Maria is great! I cant wait to return again!

"Easy Peasy "
Paul H, 25 Juin 2018

Nice hotel very close to the beach. Car parking if booked ahead and a nice clean room balcony if you want it. Just clean and easy, what more can you ask for. Of course as always friendly, staff who are always easy to please.

"Good hotel"
dandd35, 06 Juin 2018

The hotel is in a great location near the train station and close to the seafront. It is a clean, comfortable, modern hotel with an elevator, A/C, Wifi, and a TV with English news. We didn't have breakfast there as we just picked up delicious pain au chocolat at Boulangerie de l'Esterel down the street from the train station. There is also a nice little cafe across from the hotel. We found the restaurants in Juan-les-Pins to be quite overpriced, but you can walk into Vieil Antibes in about 25 minutes, which we did for lunch a few days. It is also an easy train ride into Nice for a day trip.

"Great Location"
Mark T, 30 Mai 2018

The hotel is ideally situated a short walk from the railway station, and within easy reach of the beach and numerous restaurants. It is also convenient for the airport bus, with the stop about 5-10 minutes walk.

"great position"
alicia71lunel, 26 Avril 2018

we stayed for 5 nights as it had parking on site behind the hotel at a cost and was near the railway station for Cannes , Nice etc. Easy walking distance to the town and the sea. Comfortable rooms for a good price a lift and breakfasts if required which we did. We would stay there again

"Good location for train travelers"
Goldig, 24 Décembre 2017

We always try for a hotel not far from the rail station and this fit the bill. Not well seen from a distance because no sign hanging out so could be walked past. Nice front desk staff and comfortable rooms. Short walk to the beach where there are shops and restaurants all along. Breakfast extra E9 so we did not have it, much cheaper across from the station. Hotel very satisfactory otherwise.

"Beautiful hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Our shower head was broken. Within 4 hours of reporting it at reception it"
anne_mccart, 26 Novembre 2017

Great hotel convenient to beaches bars and railway station. Could not recommend it highly enough. Staff wonderful. Adjacent to a lovely breakfast place across the road and a news agents with English papers.

"Great Location "
MasPras, 24 Octobre 2017

a not too big hotel with a standard room size. However, this Hotel offered a clean and good view room, also the great location since its very near from train station (juan le pins station, the station right after Antibes if we came from Nice st Augustine-Airport). This hotel also located not far from Nice bay and Ruban Bleu bus station which is make me easier to go to Sophia-Antipolis or Cannes area. Breakfast is good in my opinion and the hotel staffs (the reception man) were quietly friendly. the minus things in this Hotel is checkin time (3 pm) and car parking slot.

"Good location and friendly staff"
Pablo S, 19 Octobre 2017

Arrived on an early flight, greeted by very friendly receptionist and was advised that the room was not ready, but it would not be long, ( still before 3pm , the check in time) Left our Luggage at reception and went out to explore. Found a lovely sandwich bar a few doors down (towards the beach, called Juan les Pains ( love it.) ). by the time we got back the room was available. The room had a safe ( no extra charge) hair dryer in bathroom, air con , a comfy bed and draws and hanging space and a tv. We had a partial sea view. Maid service every day with regular towel change. Wifi was patchy in room. Breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot and cold buffet. Eggs, sausages, bacon, ham cheese, pastries, cakes, jams and honey fruit juices ,fruit and hot drinks. The service was very good for the first few days but from Tuesday on wards it slipped, with one day no cutlery on the table and the replenishment was slow. Hotel is in a very good position. Short walk from the 250 airport bus stop ( la regence ) with a regular daily service to and from the airport ( 11 euros one way but returns can be purchased.) Withing five minutes walk from the hotel are 2 supermarkets ( in different directions, SPAR and Casino.) The street in which the hotel is in has restaurants, shops and a very nice Italian fruit shop. One end of the street is the station, ( connections to Cannes, Nice and Monaco,) The other end is the beach and bars, restaurants, cafes and Ice cream parlors. Very quick check out with another very friendly receptionist. Can recommend and hope to be back at some stage.

"Great Location"
anocl, 13 Septembre 2017

Spent six weeks here and found it a great base for touring the area by public transport.Went to Italy from nearby station and visited San Remo and Bordighera. Visited Nice,Cannes and Antibes by local inexpensive bus and took the ferry over to Isles San Marguerite .Good local restaurants and bistros and Juan les Pins has an excellent promenade about 40 yards from hotel. Hotel staff especially Pascal were really helpful and obliging.Had good breakfast most mornings in hotel.Accomodation was roomy and spotlessly clean- also had a balcony.

"Best available in Juan"
jane b, 09 Août 2017

Booked a family couple in at the last moment end of July for one night only Near the beach and restaurants and cafes in Juan les Pins near station; excellent stay at very reasonable price I have used this Best Western oftenover the years and one of the nicest hotels in Juan

"Beautiful Location and near to the Station"
Rohit G, 23 Juillet 2017

Its just 100 m or less to a market, Station Juan two stops to Cannes, and the beautiful sea front. I love this location. Hotel checkin was good , we were at the peak season so 120 euro apprx per night but may be cheap. Breakfast was like 10 euro basic breakfast. But you can find lot of places to eat around. Had balconies and nice sun on the room.My room was quiet small but thats fine . Provided me basic like tea maker etc.

"MORE THAN ADEQUATE"
pajewellery, 05 Juillet 2017

Went by car to Southern France and then on to Lake Garda Italy for 7 days. Chose the Hotel Best Western Astoria in Juan Les Pins after a fair bit of research. Stayed for 4 nights commencing 31st. May. It was ideal for our purposes of visiting the chief cities on the Cote D'Azur. The hotel facilities and staff were ideal. The train station was 20 yards up the road, and the beach/promenade 40 yards down the road. Parking was available at a price, although limited. Plenty of places to eat in the locality. We liked L'Ultimo at the bottom of the road, on the seafront and next to the novelty tourist train. Reasonable prices for France, tasty food and good selection of drinks. Would definitely stay there again, without doubt.

"Excellent"
Angeline E, 09 Mai 2017

The hotel is well located, 5 minutes walking from the train station and the sea. I already stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and nothing has changed: The room are quiet and clean. The people are really kind. The breakfast is really good with a lot of choice. I recommend!

"Great staff"
Orna-rom, 06 Mai 2017

Nice hotel , near to the beach. The room is clean , modern bath . The breakfast is good.the staff in the front desk are so kind and friendly speaks good English. The hotel has parking costs 15 euro per day.we loved this hotel . One downgrade was if the next room visitors speak loudly we could hear them. Very good value for money. The restaurant optic Juan is 20 meters from the hotel they had great pizza -the best in whole area -for sure. Don't miss eating there

"Easter 2017"
annieRepOfIreland, 03 Mai 2017

Basic hotel, 3 stars, no bar, breakfast only. Lack of amenties are made up for by the lovely, friendly staff who were very helpful, and had great english. Breakfast is the only meal served, but it was plentiful, with good choices, and replenished often. It also has a great location, the train station was at the end of the street, and the sea and beaches at the other end. There are plenty of restaurants near by, along beach front, and in the center of town, which is also a few blocks away. There is a great supermarket, but like everything in this area, expensive. Having said that you could stock up in cheese, crackers and a nice bottle of wine and sit on yr balcony. Although we were on the 3rd floor, and this is a busy street, as it is close to the train station, and beach, so it tended to be be noisy. You could try asking for rooms on 4/5th floor. Also if you want a fridge to store yr supplies, you wil need a premium room, which have fridges, and coffee machines, and view of sea. The hotel was clean, good breakfast, and with the sea, trains, and the cote de zur on yr door doorstep, what more can you ask for. Bon voyagexx

"truly kind treatment"
Charles W, 01 Mai 2017

this place is great. you see the beach from the front door, and it is on a majestic allee of palm trees. Pascal at the front desk was SUPERB, better than Any 5 star hotel employee i ever met. Breakfast was IMMENSE with fresh eggs, sausages, every confiture Bonne Maman makes, etc- thanks to Michel. The girls were lovely also, so kind. they even let me park right out front for a couple of hours after my 16 hour flight. Room 602 is the best with a vast terrace and a fun kitchenette. I ate well at Helios Plage which they suggested.

"This is one good hotel, but small rooms."
WVER973, 13 Avril 2017

This hotel, ASTORIA, is a very good hotel and this is done, by the services you get from all staff members. We have good memories about Ms. Claire, Ms. Sonja and the Receptionist with the very difficult name. Outstanding service.

"Amazing "
Babiskiss, 03 Décembre 2016

This was my second time at the best Western astoria and if was every bit as pleasurable and satisfying as the first. The staff led by Sonia are all amazingly friendly helpful and super professional. Although at first there were a few bumps with the room they went well above and beyond to sort everything out. The rooms are super clean and the beds and pillows are supremely comfortable.... This can however be a bad thing is you need to be up at 6 an to go to work... The hotel is perfectly situated at the heart of Juan-les-Pins 1 min walk from the sncf train station and from a bus stop as well. Enteritis you will need is around the corner. I look very much forward to coming back

"A good hotel"
marinalion2015, 28 Octobre 2016

We spent 8 days in this hotel. At first we were given a room overlooking the street . We have problems with sleep so we asked for a room overlooking the yard. The receptionist Sonia was very kind and friendly and gave us a good room a short time later. We were very grateful to her and during our stay in the hotel she was so helpful and obliging!.The room and the bathroom were always clean as well as the towels.Breakfast was good. In this hotel we felt like at home Next year we are going to Juan Les Pins and stay in this lovely hotel.

"Very Clean lovely staff"
Linda S, 16 Septembre 2016

I really enjoyed the stay at this Hotel. The staff were very friendly with great advise about the area. There is also a parking space although be sure to let staff know you will arrive by car. The Entire Hotel is spotless from the entry, lift, rooms, bathrooms and breakfast area. The breakfast is simple although very nice. A great location to experience the pretty town centre of Juan les Pins

"Excellent staff"
pearl365, 15 Septembre 2016

The hotel was lovely and clean, ideally located. All staff friendly. Sonia went over and above when I was taken ill and had to stay on an extra 2 days, nothing was too much trouble, Her compassion was very much appreciated.

"Exactly as we expected"
catherine n, 11 Septembre 2016

Booked through easy jet, information on rooms spot on. Room very clean, breakfast as expected and ok for me. Reception staff very helpful. Room was ample big enough for the 2 of us. The only thing i missed was not having a mini fridge in the standard room. Just a suggestion felt that there was enough room for a fridge to be placed in the room and perhaps hotel should provide them to all rooms.

"Pay more get more"
Phillip H, 10 Septembre 2016

Small hotel well positioned for train station and beach . We booked a superior room but none were available so accepted free breakfast for duration of our stay.Breakfast offering poor. Rooms are small with en suite bath shower and small balcony. rear rooms overlook car park front rooms overlook street, best for interest and people watching. staff friendly and helpful. used the train to visit monaco, old antibe and ville franche su- mer all worth a visit.

"Great location!!!!"
Sung Eun Y, 08 Septembre 2016

We read reviews about BWA hotel before booking. I think we did well. The location is great, few mins away from beach and restaurants, also train station!!! We popped to the beach any time and the train station whenever we wanted to visit other towns, very convenient!!! Breakfast was also good although we had to pay extra, not included in room charge. Breakfast is highly recommended as well as BWA hotel. Free wifi, fully air conditioned room, hair dryer and a safe are available in the room. Also we enjoyed relaxing time in the balcony in our room. The staff are friendly!

"Checked into an occupied room"
davidjbarry, 04 Septembre 2016

As someone who works in the hotel industry too, I think you should know about this situation . I arrived for check in on August 14 the 2016 at 4pm , after the check in process I was given the key to 302 or 308 I believe but found that it was still actually occupied with the current guest asleep in the bed . I came back down to the reception and the attendant on duty was surprised and didn't know why this was . She apologized and called the room and spoke to the guest , while my French is not what it used to be , I understood her telling him he should have left earlier in the day at 10 am etc and why was he still there. I asked for another vacant room but she said there were no more as they were sold out . She asked me to come back in an hour , which I did at 5.15 pm . However if the room showed VC in your system and it was still physically occupied then someone internally did not report this departure correctly to the desk or it was checked out incorrectly without verifying if it was actually VD , how does this sort of thing happen? By today's standards this is a great security risk to both the guest who was still inside asleep and the one trying to check in and you need to review basic room occupancy procedures to ensure this does not happen again . I was offered a comp breakfast as compensation, but nothing like a breakfast coupon was ever delivered to my room or left under the door etc so follow through was lacking However the room was very clean and after the broken shower hose was replaced which appeared to be still in the process of being repaired due to the call from the desk10 minutes after to advise me the tech was still on his way , all was well. The comp bottle of water was nice but no refills were provided as is usual in the USA when its on the nightstand. Perhaps two washcloths in the bathroom would be nice too .The water pressure was good in the shower though , but that half glass panel doesn't keep the floor dry or easy to clean up . As a convenience for guests it's best to charge taxes and municipal fees etc at the time of booking rather than at the check out time months later ,I am sure it's not hard to set that up with your booking engines too Thanks

"Great Stay"
759Patricia, 20 Août 2016

Superb hotel only yards from the beach and all amenities. Good quality bedding and linen. Nice too to have tea/coffee tray in the room, along with bottled water. Decent toiletries too. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Nothing too much trouble. When we needed extra milk etc reception were happy to oblige. Lovely quiet rooms too with pleasant decor. Good value for money.

"A decent hotel"
gulu82, 05 Août 2016

Stayed in this hotel for business for 4 nights, the staff was very nice, room was clean and the size was ok for 1 person. The breakfast was very simple and no lots of selections. The location is very good and close to many restaurants, bars and the beach. The hotel has a private parking for 15eur/day but it was always full when we arrived and we had to park outside, and we've managed to find a parking near by in the street.

"Best place to stay. "
Azy V, 26 Juillet 2016

Very friendly and kind staff. convenient to beach and train station. Clean rooms. Family friendly. All the staff were speaking English. Their price is very fair compare to other places. I extremely recommend this place. My children and I had great time there.

"Excellent location, average breakfast"
italiangirl09, 23 Juin 2016

Been to the area before but never stayed in this hotel before. The hotel staff are friendly, it's clean, good bathroom however we had problems with our safe and had to get the engineer to come and fix it. The breakfast was average, hardly had any hot menu choices available and the noise is heard through the bedroom window as we were on the 1st floor. But the location is excellent, in between both the train station and the beach.

""Simple but very ok""
Jelenastan, 04 Juin 2016

Hotel is easy to find close to the beach, main restaurant street in this place, we easly found parkind outside hotel but it also has it own parking to pay 15 euros per day. Rooms are not big but everything is very clean and satisfactory. Staff is very friendly, nice and polite. Price very ok for french riviera. So good choice for stay at Cote d Azur and not to spend to much money.

"Very convenient"
BarbaraB31252, 24 Mai 2016

This was an excellent place to stay for our recent visit to Cannes. As the film festival was on, Cannes was extremely busy and very expensive. This hotel was very reasonably priced and only a couple of hundred yards from the station with regular trains to Cannes and all along the coast. Breakfast at 10 euros per person was excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.

"Easy to reach and a few parking spaces"
haugenbjorn, 17 Mai 2016

The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The reseptionists are helpful and ready to asisst. Overall it is a proper hotel and good value for your money. All services are within walking distance and that includes most the resturants.

"Good, not very good"
David S, 13 Mai 2016

Clean well-appointed rooms, very friendly and helpful reception staff, nice working lift, clean public toilet. But! The breakfast was very poor, not up to normal French standard. The good news is that they charge you the room without breakfast so easy to eat elsewhere. I recommend a little place called "Juan-les-pains" (sic) a few doors towards the beach. Strangely Tripadvisor has not heard of it. A fire alarm woke me: apparently caused by poor kitchen ventilation. Not good. Free wifi. Grrrrrr. It worked some times for my friends, never for me on two devices, and that meant I had to pay for Vodafone £3 a day for Internet access. In this day and age good Wi-Fi is a must, very poor Wi-Fi is an annoyance. They got the bill wrong. That has happened at my last four stays at four different hotels. Grrrrrr. The entrance to the car park is designed for cars at least 9 inches less wide than most modern cars, so be prepared for the odd scrape or two to the car's bodywork. Quite a good hotel, but be warned!

"Great Location, Great Value Hotel."
mike2016852, 02 Mai 2016

A perfectly situated Hotel only 2 minutes walk to the railway station and 3 minutes to the beach. There are a variety of shops and restaurants close by and a large Casino supermarket only a few minutes away. The rooms are small but very clean and well decorated. There is an excellent daily service with sheets and towels changed regularly. The bathroom was also small but was also spotlessly clean and everything worked as it should. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have good facilities. Ours had a safe, fridge and coffee maker as well as a small balcony. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful at all times with good local knowledge. No negatives at all – a great value Hotel that would be our automatic choice were we to return to Juan Les Pins.

"A very nice hotel"
ep18418, 30 Avril 2016

Great location. Nearby the beach, train station, stores, bakery, pharmacy etc. Very nice and helpfull staff. Clean room. They even changed towels although we only stayed for two nights. Nice balcony. We will most certainly choose this hotel the next time we visit Juan les Pins.

"Excellent budget hotel in expensive location"
Kat35, 26 Avril 2016

Great location, 100m from the train station & only a few minutes walk to the beach. The Reception staff were always friendly and helpful. Room ok size with a comfortable bed and a balcony. Really clean too! Good sized bathroom with a bath. There is a hairdryer although it's not very powerful. There were nice products in bathroom and tea/coffee facilities are provided & replenished daily. Extra milk is available from reception. We'd recommend & will use again.

"Absolutely perfect "
Babiskiss, 16 Avril 2016

Wonderful hotel with unbeatable location. Everything you need is near by and itis e min walk to the beach. Rooms are in the smaller side but have every comfort necessary and the native closets mean you can give away all the things you do not neat..Worth spending a few euro extra and getting the upgraded rooms with the fridge and coffee machine.. Beds are super comfortable and the staff is very very friendly

"BEST WESTERN Astoria"
clzgw04, 24 Novembre 2015

from 20/11/15 to 22/11/15 We really had a great time hotel was fab .staff were very friendly and helpful one of the staff on the receptions' even charged my phone for me location was was great 2min walk to the stn right on top off all bus routes

"Very satisfactory stay"
Michael O, 23 Septembre 2015

Stayed at the Astoria from Wed 9th September for one week. The hotel is situated 150 metres from the railway station and 200 metres from the promenade/beach. The Astoria is located in a pleasant side street. The hotel does not offer many facilities - it has a foyer, a small lounge/bar area and a pleasant breakfast bar and a lift leading to the rooms. It really doen't need anything else with the beach, bars and restaurants at close hand. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine with a very nice bathroom. Tip -if your room does not come with a fridge invest in one at 8 euros per day so that you can enjoy a nice glass of wine and a snack on your balcony. We enjoyed the breakfasts - I particularly liked the scrambled eggs and small sausages as well as the continental breakfast items. Juan Les Pins is quite small and a lot of the beachfront is taken over by private concerns - sunloungers and bar during the day that become restaurants at night. There are public beaches to both the left and right of the promenade. It was fairly quiet during our week. We used trains to visit Monaco ( a bit disappointing as there was a lot of maintenance work going on around the harbour and did involve a lot of walking), Nice and Cannes (Do take le petit train (10 euros) for a fabulous guided tour around the front and the highest point in Cannes. We also took the train to Antibes - the old quarter, the harbour and raised sea wall are a must! Tip -always remember to stamp your ticket in the yellow ticket machine before boarding for each train journey. We took the advice from a previous review and walked to a bus stop from Terminal One. The review mentioned the 200 bus but we got the 23 to St Laurent Du Var station. Coming back we got the 52 bus that stopped opposite Terminal One. Please note, don't attempt this way unless you are travelling light! Overall, a very reasonably priced and nice hotel in a lovely resort!

"Cheap & Cheerful"
Paul B, 06 Septembre 2015

The best thing about this hotel is the location. We were a group of 10 friends looking for central base to use for various trips. Astoria is 2 mins walk to beach and 2 min walk to train station (where you can get direct trains to Nice, Cannes & Monaco). Juan Les Pins is your typical no frills French Riviera location. Antibes is approx. 15-20 min walk away but worth the visit. Lots of good cafés and bars (great pizza place across the road from hotel). The beach bars/restaurants are a must for a boozy afternoon and Moorea beach bar is a great way to spend an afternoon. Staff all very friendly in the hotel and rooms clean if a little dated

"Great location for your French Riviera holiday"
Alex F, 01 Septembre 2015

Very impressed by this hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nice. Location is excellent. This was our first visit to the Cote d'Azur and were not sure what to expect. We got a good deal on the hotel (€500 for 6 nights) so we were off to a good start. The hotel is easy to find from the bus stop and literally 40 seconds walk from the train station. It's on a street that leads down to the beach, less than a minute in the other direction. We got room 501 which faced the rear of the hotel meaning there was no noise from traffic. (Room 502 would be the same and I think 507 and 508 should be rear facing too). The bed is good, large and quite comfy. There's a tv, coffee machine and a fridge. A nice touch is the fact that the fridge is stocked with a large bottle of water and a couple of juices every day for free. Coffee was nice and restocked every day for free too. Bathroom is very nice with a great shower. There's a nice balcony with a retractable sunshade if you fancy sitting out too. We didn't get any breakfasts in the hotel, but there seemed to be a nice selection of food available if that's what you want. Instead we went to the cafe across the street for pastry's and found some other bakery's for fresh bread and sandwiches. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it. We ended up sun bathing on the beach for a couple of days (these are quite small and packed so get there early) and touring around the area for the other days. Antibes is within walking distance and very nice to visit. The train service is excellent so a day trip to Monaco, Nice and Cannes should be done, as well as a trip to Ventimiglia in Italy which is worth a look too.

"Good value"
Costa S, 27 Août 2015

Good location, simple, and tidy rooms. Good value for money and very close to bars, restaurants and beach. Staff were helpful with sorting out the rooms and making sure we had a taxi to head back to the airport on time.

"Terrible service but great location!"
Harri R, 03 Juillet 2015

This hotel did what it needed to do. Clean, spacious rooms with a nice balcony and VERY close to the beach. There are lots of local amenities close by, including the train station and most people speak good English. The staff at the hotel were quite unaccommodating and rude. There was a problem with one of our parties bookings and the receptionist was very unhelpful leading to an hour of phone calls to sort the problem out. Additionally the breakfast was not good with lots of food and cutlery running out and not being replenished. We did enjoy your stay at the hotel and would possibly stay again due to the great location!

"Good value"
aitchip, 15 Juin 2015

We had stayed at this hotel before a number of years ago and just wanted a base for 2 nights before moving on elsewhere. We got a good Web deal on the price and the hotel lived up to our expectations for its 3 stars. The room had everything we needed including a good shower and very comfortable bed, clean linen and air conditioning. The only thing I'd mark it down on was the strange plastic cups for tea and coffee. It wouldn't be too much to ask for proper china or pottery mugs. But with so many great cafes on the doorstep who's going to drink nescafe in the room? As with other reviewers we found the welcome a bit odd - and very different from our last visit. On arrival to drop off our cases the receptionist was cheerful and friendly. A few hours later the same lady was almost monosyllabic and not at all friendly. Was this because of the presence of an older gentleman (the owner?) behind reception with whom she continued her conversation all the time whilst checking us in? This gentleman was quite rude when I asked for my Best Western loyalty points. Because I had booked on Expedia he was unable to do it - which was fine with me but I didn't need a lecture on why I should not use Expedia but should book direct with the hotel. The other receptionist was surly and uncommunicative and when we checked out she continued with another piece of work on her computer for several minutes before turning her attention to our bill. We were the only people in reception at the time and no apology or explanation was offered for this. It didn't spoil our holiday and if you want a good room at a good price then this hotel is worth considering - but I suspect a change of ownership since our last visit has resulted in a poorer welcome from its staff.

"Nice place with pleasent stuff"

I stayed there for 2 weeks and I have to say this is very nice place. Maybe its not furnished in very modern style ans it depenwnds what you really expect. For me the most important is to have a clean room, with helpful stuff and within the walking distance to the points of interest and I got it all! Room quite basic, but all what I would expect. TV, free wifi, tea maker,a balcony to smoke. I was having typical french brkfst into room every mornig ( preordered) which was served by very nice lady. Definetely I recommend the place!!!

This hotel is ideally located near Juan les pins train station so is a great place to stay if you're planning on hopping on a train and exploring other towns and cities along the French Riviera. It is also close to Central Juan les pins, which has lots of bars and restaurants and it's also close to the beach. Despite its excellent location, the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. What more could you ask for? The rooms were clean and the balcony was nice. I opted out of the breakfast at the hotel, as you can get a cheaper breakfast from cafes on the seafront. We dropped our bags off early before check in and this was no problem at all. All in all a great stay. I must say the bar area did look a bit dated, however.
