Best Western Plus Maple Leaf

I do frequent stay in the Best western plus maple leaf hotel. The room is spacious and very neat and clean. Special thanks to Ms.Shompa for the quick housekeeping. Staffs are very friendly. Have variety of food options and having 24hrs in-room food service.

The A/C in the room was not working properly. The maintenance staff said it needed more time to cool down, even though it had already been on for about 4 hours. When I awoke in a sweat during the night at about 10 pm and called for maintenance to correct the problem, I was informed the maintenance worker said it would take too long and I should be moved to another room. So, with only four hours of sleep remaining before my early morning flight, I had to abruptly change rooms just to get a functioning A/C unit. The maintenance worker should have advised management of the need for a room change at the onset of reporting the problem instead of disrupting my sleep and comfort. The manager should have dealt with the issue personally instead of sending a "trainee" to handle the problem. The rooms are extremely small with about 2 foot clearance on each side of the bed and a total of 4 square feet of floor space in the bathroom. The carpet is old and unclean feeling. The TV was not easy to operate. There are no USB ports in the room and management was unhelpful in assisting with this issue. This hotel needs some serious updating. Positives: the bed was comfortable and the A/C in the second room worked.

For more then 10 years always guest at BW Maple Leaf Dhaka, always everything very good and employees and workers very professional and very kind, but just few things need to be renovated, armchair and sofas at lobby etc. BTW tis for all always I will be in BWML when I know to go in Bangladesh.

For more than 10 years when I go to Dhaka for work reasons, I always stay in this hotel, why? Because in a convenient location near the airport and near the Tongi office. Because the food is fantastic, the BBQ excellent with a super chef always available to accommodate any different request from the menu. Because I always choose the room on the top floor and the cleaning Ms Shompa is very professional. Because after many years I have a relationship of friendship and respect with all the employees and workers. Because the services are excellent and if any problems arise they are resolved immediately... In short, everything makes me feel at ease when I return to the hotel... The breakfast buffet has changed a lot over the years, now a little limited. There are some areas of the hotel that should be renovated because they are a little dated... I only have one negative point, that the armchairs and sofas in the hall on the ground floor are too worn and old and I think they are full of mites, for me they should be renewed or replaced, because when I wait for the driver to pick me up, it is not pleasant to sit on dirty, worn and sticky fabrics. But still it remains my favorite hotel and as long as I have to go to Bangladesh, I will always choose this hotel, even if there are some new ones that have just opened. Comfortable stay. The house keeping staff is very cooperative and efficient, specially Mr. Burhan. Always smiling and ready to help out. The front office staff is welcoming and courteous. The breakfast can be improved in terms of food quality and better service in the restaurant.

I stayed here for 7 nights! One of the pathetic hotel that i have ever stayed. I will elaborate and rate based of quality and service. Timely pickup from airport: 1 out of 5 Hotel ambiance and amenities: 3 out of 5 Food quality: 3 out of 5 Pocket friendly: 2 out of 5 In Room dining Service: 00 out of 5 pathetic Cleaning service: 4 out of 5 The hotel is over priced when you look at the service. Adding a few bucks, one can easily choose a better 4/5 star hotel in Dhaka.

Excellent as usual from airport pick up to airport drop off. Fantastic food, excellent room well looked after by Mr. Borhan and a brilliant experience at the roof top bar where the staff were friendly & welcoming. Couldn't fault the place - look forward to my next stay !

Excellent staff at reception the manager is a gentleman all the staff are very kind and always ready to help. The rooms are clean the buffet is very good. They take good care of you. The only thing missing is a pool. I regularly stay at this place

I'm coming to Dhaka aften and I used already this hotel several time. It's located near to the therefore you can reach it easily. The structure is not big but you can find all that you need for a comfortable stay. Room are clean and the staff is very friendly. Two restaurants with complete menu and good prices.

Very good the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Different type of cuisine and different type of restaurants. And the cleaning of the room is amazing ( thanks for Shompa). Very precise and punctual. Also the bar is still amazing, espresso coffee is good and the service too

Great location, brilliant room, fantastic staff, great food and best of all for me a roof top bar with excellent service from captain Anwar and his team. The hotel location is perfect, very near to the airport, no need to be do worry about the timing of departure. The staffs from Hotel are so kind and warm, always be ready to help the customer for any issues. The rooms are clean and neat, and very good daily house keeping. The food from 2nd floor and top roof are both variety and delicious. Some of staffs are really very nice, such as Mr. Faris, he help us to book taxi, carry the luggage.. Buffet in the main dining and room service are available for 24 hours, so travelers can have meals anytime, it's really helpful for the international travelers.

I came here in tarragon restaurant with my family. We liked to ordered A la carte menu but a lady server suggested us for taking buffer dinner.We were finally gone with buffet and my family was satisfied. The service has been exceptional. Extremely polite, efficient, accommodating and hospitable all round. The room and facilities are very comfortable and clean. My suitcase did not arrive with my flight and the hotel front desk, particularly Ahad, followed up with the airline diligently throughout the day and stayed on past the end of his shift to ensure that the bag arrived at the hotel in good order and that I received it directly. It has been an incredible start to my first trip to Bangladesh.

Was a short layover before departing from Dhaka. Hotel is nearest to airport thus making it convenient to travel to and fro the airport. Room was nice and clean and basic necessities available in-room. Only glitch was the room tv was not working. Anyway needed to rest so did not bother about it.

Good to have a quick rest in a good hotel before/after the journey (5 min away from the airport). Adv to the foreigners: 1. Don't take the room facing the road.. very noisy during day/night with honking everytime non stop. 2. Try to avoid fresh juice if you know yr stomach can't take it, otherwise you will suffer from poisoning. The rest are acceptable as per the rest of other country's Best Western. Great view towards the airport on the rooftop while enjoying the BBQ dinner. Small gym and a massage center on the top floor. Transport to the airport - UsD9 Dinner buffet doesn't come with a hot drink, even with a cofee/tea (only for b'fast)..

The Indian food at restaurant is better as compared to other hotel restaurants in Dhaka. Mr. Jalal at restaurant along with other staff members were very courteous, proactive & kind during all times of day.

Really enjoyed my stay here thanks to the wonderful staff! They're very helpful and provide excellent service. Their close location to the airport and the shuttle service they provide are great for those on a short visit to Dhaka and wanting to avoid traffic jam.

The hotel desperately needs pest control. There are mosquitos everywhere including the rooms. In a country where mosquito borne diseases are endemic it is not acceptable to have so many mosquitos swarming around the property and the rooms. The price of the rooms is not commensurate with the size of the room and what the hotel offers. Their shuttle service to and from the airport is overpriced as well considering the proximity of the airport to the hotel.

This is nice business hotel, Clean room and food quality is good and Hygienic.My house keeping was done by Mr Burman Uddin Sarkar, he was polite and take good care of my Room. It's a recommend budget friendly and decent stay with location near to Airport.

I stayed in a suite which was excellent and very much up to international standards. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is also very nice with a good selection of local and international dishes. The neighborhood is not too bad, although I don't recommend spending too much time in the street. The property is adjacent to the Dhaka airport which may make it a bit smoggier that other locations in the city (if you can believe that!). Overall, a great experience.

On January 18 I flew in for work. Upon arrival from Manila, my luggage did not arrive. On January 21, I returned from my work at sea and asked if I could drop by lost luggage. At that time I got help from Ahad an employee of the hotel. Within 30 minutes I had my suitcase back. For me he is my hero of the day. Beautiful rooms, excellent sanitary facilities, delicious food and excellent aviation service (pick up and drop off) If I can go to Bangladesh again for my work, I (Ahad) hope to meet my hero again. This Hotel is highly recommended if you go to or in Bangladesh.

I am always delighted when we stay here for work while we are transiting through Dhaka. It is super-conveniently close to the airport. Their drivers are always on time (some of the other local hotels aren't). I agree with the review below about the excellent soundproofing as wall. The rooms have everything you need, with comfortable beds and nice showers, and the rooftop restaurant has a great vibe. The definite highlight though is the staff. They are absolutely wonderful: warm, welcoming, accommodating and happy to help you out with requests and advice on where to shop/go for things in Dhaka and how to get there easily and safely. Am Always happy to see them and stay.

All good, but there were some mosquitos I'm the room & 15% service charges is just too much together with 10% taxes. Is kind of too much. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Excellent location. Airport transfer a welcome service.

In spite of having a confirmed reservation for a non smoking room, I was told no non smoking rooms avaliable. However a non smoking suite was avaliable for a few thousand takas. However after my displeasure and a short wait suddenly my requested room was avaliable.

Exceptional hotel, within short walking distance of the airport (if you're willing to dodge Dhaka traffic)! I walked from the Airport Railway Station across the overpass, and it took me around 10 mins to walk, while dodging Tuk Tuks, rickshaws and the big honky honk trucks which make me go deaf! Let me premise this review by first saying, I did not actually stay overnight. I presented myself at reception early this morning (coming off a 3-day houseboat trip in Sundarbans National Park, and 2 consecutive night trains - so I was grungy and also very tired), in hopes of joining their breakfast buffet at a cost. Staff were so welcoming and were happy to have me join them for breakfast at their hotel! They gave me a discounted rate for breakfast, and a complimentary bottle of water, which was so kind! They offered luggage storage and also free wifi. I have to commend the staff working at this hotel, as they went great lengths to host me, even if just for a couple of hours before my flight out! The breakfast buffet was simply amazing - so many fresh foods to choose from, ranging from made to order eggs/omelettes, fresh whole fruits, sliced fruits and vegetables, a selection of hot dishes, cold cereals, breads and pastries. Fine cheeses were also on offer, along with a number of different salads. It felt so amazing to finally have proper coffee and fresh, healthy foods coming out of 6 days of limited options. Being away for so many months and away for the holidays, the Christmas tree in the lobby and gingerbread house in the dining room made me smile! Even world travellers get lonely from time to time! Thank you so much to all of the staff at the hotel for hosting me and showing me hospitality for the 3 hours I was at the hotel! It was a nice place to gather myself before boarding my flight! Amazing hotel, and if I ever find myself back in Dhaka, surely I will stay here, and most definitely stay the night! 5 stars all around for exceptional staff and service!

Amazing and on time service! Good breakfast options. Staff are professional and highly informative. Location wise its great as its 5 minutes away via car. BW also has pick up and drop off shuttle service to the airport and they are highly communicative and on time regarding this service.

It was a pleasant visit at Maple leafe Uttara. Everything about the hotel repeatedly made me remind why it is one of the top class hotel. The food had its unique mouth watering taste while the behaviours of the representatives eas much impressive, especially Mr. Tuhin front office was much friendly, delicate and assisted with details n directions.

This hotel went above and beyond for my family while we stayed there this past September. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food was good and we found the 24-hour restaurant very convenient. The cafe downstairs makes an excellent coffee. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The staff went so far as to surprise me with a birthday cake during our stay, which was so thoughtful! We had an excellent experience and will stay again for any future visits!

The Hotel is very good! All the employees are very kind and supportive And the Breakfast is also good! The Fitness center has a good space and everything is clear and new. The bed in so comfy and the pillows are new and clean.

Food was exceptional, I have food allergies so that is rare for me to comment positively on same, and the staff provided me with special bedding as per my request. The only downsides were the complete lack of hot water throughout my stay, despite requesting action twice (luckily I am a hardy old man) and the traffic noise dominant on the rooftop restaurant - the call to prayer from surrounding mosques raised the noise to cacophonic levels. My advise, eat at the excellent indoor dining facility.

Best western plus maple leaf in Dhaka is the best hotel I ever stayed in. I stayed in many hotel in USA and Bangladesh in last 24 years. This is by far the best. The buffet restaurant they have is the best. Food was delicious and it has both western and Bangladeshi food. I was born in Bangladesh but my wife and daughter were born in USA. They felt at home here. Everyone including guards, front desk, restaurant and room service were extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone.

Probably one of the best places you can stay in Dhaka. Near the airport and offers option within the hotel. Also the staff makes the stay worthwhile, polite, accommodating and friendly. Look for Preetom, he will take good care of you during your stay.

I have been traveling from Hong Kong to Dhaka for my business trips over 60 times within 9 years with each visit I also stay in this hotel. This hotel is providing very good service with good foods & lodging; rooms are clean and very comfortable. Staffs are very polite and respectful to guests, every morning the security will escort me to the car from factory and the front desk manager Roy with his staffs are provides excellent service as always too. This trip I also staying here and will check out on 9/12. I take this opportunity to say thank you for their services to let me feel at home. I spent in this hotel 3 weeks. The hotel is close to the airport, it's small, clean and therefore very suitable for business travellers. Rooms are small but quiet, therefore your work and rest won't be disturbed by street noise. The hotel has everything you need for your business trip stay- restaurant, SPA and gym. The hotel staff is very helpful and responsive. Food is amazing- a variety of choices for breakfast and a big choice from Asian and European menus for lunch and dinner.

Western Plus Maple Leaf is unquestionably one of the best hotels in the area. We frequently visited, yet we were never tired.  As always, they provide us exceptional service, making our day special. Needed to find a restaurant near the international Airport Dhaka where business colleagues could meet at. I like Best Western Plus Maple Leaf Hotel their service was good they ensure with excellent quality of room with complementary breakfast buffet and great coffee and juices. The Bouillabaisse, the T-bone steak and their cheese cake was very good.

I need to stay in the city over night, and I wanted to find somewhere close to international airport Dhaka. This was one of the closest place to airport Dhaka where I stayed. Great Breakfast menu, I enjoyed the Omelette, which was light and cooked to perfection & Espresso was great and the blend set me up for the day. Other people were eating other things and everything seen great. Enjoyable atmosphere, great service, great food and room I'll certainly be back here.

The place is amazing, during breakfast all I got what I wanted. Options for vegetarian, Asian, European and others the flavours they have are innovative. This is my second visit. me and my husband went for a dinner on their rooftop and it was a rainy breeze evening.. The ambiance was wonderful and the food was good.. that too not expensive compared to other places ( hotels). ideal place for a reluxing soothing dinner and can enjoy the view from the top.

I have stayed at the Maple Leaf a few times for business trips and find it a friendly and clean hotel that is convenient for the Airport and getting out of Dhaka for our factory visits. Don'y expect the swishest of hotel facilities but the roof top Charcoal Grill is excellent and very reasonably priced. The ground floor lobby has a small coffee bar which is a handy meeting space. The 2nd floor restaurant has the breakfast buffet which is ok but not to the standard of the larger hotels, it could be better. The rooms are reasonably sized and very clean and the large beds have lovely white sheets. There is a desk area and plenty of space for clothes. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available, Overall this is excellent value for money as long as you don't mind the breakfast bufffet!

Spent 9th floor Room with family and enjoyed every features and services from the hotel. Cleanliness and amenities in the room are top notch. Very professional services from each and every member of the hotel. Specially Operational manager Mr. Mortuza and IT manager Mr. Sudeb, their support and cordial services were exceptional. I was there in the hotel from 17 to 21 St April 2022. The room was good comfortable but it was small. The services were excellent. The BF basically carried the same menu with not much of variation. The plus point and mostly which I liked was the front Office staff mainly Anup Khan Senior Guest Relationship officer and Thuhin. I experienced a problem where my phone got blocked one day in the night I called upon Thuhin and he went beyond his limits to help me but it was not resolved. The next day morning when I called Anup to connect a international call he offered me his personal mobile to make a call it really surprised me and I was so much delighted with his gesture further within no time he was able to fix my phone. He was a very kind and generous person who offered me help at his own cost. I appreciate his good deed and he was helpful to me from the inception. These employees help build the brand of the organisation I request the Management to appreciate them fir their good deed.

Since I go to Bangladesh I stay at the Best Western Plus Maple Leaf Hotel. In general the hotel is very convenient because near the airport. The personnel is very helpful and kind, food is good. Room are clean and comfortable. The only negative thing is that if you stay in the rooms which are facing the street side, you might not be able to have a proper rest because the street is very noisy especially at night time. So, it is recommended to ask also for the rooms which are not facing the street side. I hope the management of the hotel can invest some money in improving the isolation of the rooms. Without that issue, the stay at the hotel will be perfect.

Stayed here for 2 days,going home after 7 weeks on board of a dredger. Rooms are good, food is good. Staff is friendly and helpfull. And downstairs in the cafe Jesmir makes a very good cappuccino. Had a good stay.

The Best Western Plus Maple Leaf went beyond the normal level of service for my wife and myself. The Check-in desk manager used our names the first morning, after only seeing us for a short time the night before. The Breakfast Service Manager was polite and thoughtful without being overbearing. The lady in charge of the Coffee Lounge ensured our latte was "just right". The Cleaning staff did a wonderful job of looking after our room and the entire hotel. The Manger of the Rooftop Bar and Grill showed us what service was all about and the Chef offered to assist us with anything special. My wife also had a manicure and pedicure which she said were both very good. Any faults? No. A car was available for hire. It was added safety and not overly expensive. As for COVID-19 awareness, I have been in three countries since March 2020. The Best Western Plus Maple Leaf leads the way in COVID-19 safety measures compared to all the other places we have stayed. All this happened with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of professionalism. Will I stay again? Most certainly.

Checked in as it was only 5 mins away from the airport after my flight was cancelled, the staff was brilliant. Sent a car to pick me up after my 2nd flight was cancelled free off charge which was a nice gesture. Service was outstanding. Highly recommended

We have stayed here twice and love it. It modern , clean , great food , fantastic staff . For us we choose it for our convenience, it's close to the airport and we always have to transit here on our way to fly to Saidpur . So it's welcome after a long flight. On this occasion we have had to cancel our stay due to the Coronovirus pandemic and the staff here have been even better than usual and waived the cancellation fee. I feel obliged to write this review to reiterate that this is such a good hotel anyway but this gesture has moved me . It's disappointing to have to cancel bu5 I really think the way they have done this underlies the way this place operates they really think of their customers. Let me tell you about our experiences staying here , it starts at the airport . The transfer is paid for separately bu5 worth it. You get picked up at the luggage hall by the person who calls for the car and helps get the luggage. This person has always been welcoming efficient and helpful . Both times they turned down our tip . The driver and car are Great. The rooms are small and very comfortable. The cafe is Great and a great place to meet relatives etc. The restaurants are even better , too good in-fact. You end up trying everything despite being full!! Highly recommend , convenient and welcoming

Pretty much what you expect from a Best Western. Good service, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of fresh food available. I think it's a little expensive, considering the size of the room, otherwise I might have given five stars.

I had the privilege of staying at this hotel while in transit from Bangladesh to Hong Kong. The hotel staff were excellent, and the room was very clean and neat. The location is great because it is less than 5 minutes from the Dhaka airport.

We have stayed 2 days and found the hotel clean, well maintained and comfortable. Staff very accessible and attentive. The restaurant has a wide range of good food from Both western and eastern tastes. Servers are excellent - Rumila and Zahid were both professional and pleasant. We would stay again - it's close to the airport as well.

All the management stuff were found to be very much cooperative and friendly. Specially the front desk people like Tuhin is very smart and understanding. The food in second/top floor served and cooked by Rumila, Zahid, Tuhel and Kornia we perfect. The served Thai soup was the best item in my opinion in the restaurant.

I visit many hotels all over the world on business. But whenever I stay at the BW Maple Leaf I feel and am treated like I've come home and this is family! The whole experience is stand out. From the meeting at the airport to the drop off back at the airport , the experience is what all hotels should be aspiring to but too few are actually achieving. Those other hotels in the area (Radisson and Le Meridian)which are charging x 2 and everything is plus plus plus should visit and learn.

Wonderful hotel with excellent dining options.Staffs are friendly and helpful. Level 2 restaurant is excellent, especially the buffet breakfast where there are both local and international selections available. Their cheese verity world-class. Surprised to see the cereals & nuts collection, both Fruits juices was fresh. Level 1 cafe is a good place to have meetings, the top level restaurant Bar & BBQ is awesome. The BBQ food at level 11 is one of the best in Dhaka. Highly recommended for both families and business travelers.

The hotel rooms are nice and clean and I like staying here for business trips since it is near the airport. Tip - ask for odd number rooms because it faces the airport runway and is quieter. I had the even number room and had to sleep with earplugs. Why I gave only 2 stars: The hotel was booked for company functions 2 (of the 3) nights I was staying and the Charcoal restaurant was not available for those nights. I was directed to go to Level 2 Tarragon restaurant instead. On the first night, the lead waiter started with insisting only the buffet was available (and the prices kept changing which made me suspicious).I was hesitant as me and my guest were not hungry. In the end, he relented and allowed ala carte orders (unhappily from his facial expression, I would say). The Indo-Bangla food was fantastic though - and loved the garlic naan. Tonight, again with a company function at Charcoal, I was directed to level 2 and met the same lead waiter. This time he insisted that only the buffet was available and when I asked for ala carte, he told me to go back and order room service and turned away from me to welcome the next pair of guests. I cant order room service since I am checked out and just waiting for time to pass to go to the airport. I was pissed off by the attitude and left, and unfortunately only possible to sit in the lobby to wait for time to pass. I think Best Western should have informed guests IN ADVANCE that you have events and your restaurants are packed. Also, not all guests like to eat buffets so I hope you can consider to have alternatives. Lastly, regardless of what your guest chooses and if they did not pick what you recommended, I wish you can accept the choice graciously.

Just a few hundred meters from the airport. A perfectly clean room, very friendly staff everywhere (at the reception desk, room services, in the restaurants...). The food is excellent, especially barbecue offered in an open restaurant at the top of the building. The only drawback is obvious - the prices are quite high.

This hotel is located next to the airport, there is an airport taxi that brings you with 5-10 minutes from and to the airport. For me it is a great place to stay in hectic Dhaka. I prefer The rooms at the backside so you do not hear the traffic 24/7. Great staff, good roomservice, good breakfast and good diner possibilities.

I regularly visit Bangladesh for Business and Frienship reasons. The Best Western Maple Leaf has so far been the best experince i have had. I had a bad experience with the booking company i asked to initially make the booking which also threatened my visda application which required a residential adress confirmation. The Staff at the Best Western Maple Leaf sorted this out in one hour. most respectfully, confidently and withenthusiasm.

At first, I will admit I was suspicious of this Hotel. I would not normally consider this brand when planning my business travel. However, to my surprise this was a great selection. Location - 10 minutes from the airport, with shuttle service. They can also help pick you up and get you through security easily. Room was a little small but not too bad. Clean and comfortable. Staff - very nice extremely helpful and accomidating. Anyone traveling for business!!!! I would highly recommend this hotel and location!

This is a great hotel to stay in if transiting in Dhaka, or if you otherwise want to stay close to the airport. The hotel is quite new. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very clean, quiet and comfortable with all necessary amenities. You get a free newspaper every morning. Service is very friendly and helpful. There is a rooftop bar/restaurant. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

I travel through Dhaka regularly for work, and due to flight schedules, I need to stay in Dhaka overnight both directions. I have stayed at other hotels near the airport, but will stay here from now on. The airport pickup is prompt and courteous, even in the middle of the night. The staff is always pleasant. The amenities are complete. The rooftop restaurant is delightful and delicious, and the breakfast buffet is extensive, and caters to your comfort food, no matter where in the world you call home. I always feel relaxed when I stay here.

I enjoyed my stay here with Mr Zahid of Best Western plus maple leaf hotel . He's an excellent capability of remember what the tastes and preferences are. Specially coooked Indian breakfast from the anonymous head chef was another highlight of my visit. Thanks Zahid and Chef...till we meet again

Hotel accommodations was great with very cleanliness, all the hotel staff are provided with a very good services. Hotel restaurant was provided the great breakfast and good dinner foods. Most importantly the location was good and very convenient to get to international airport just within 5 minutes.

I had a great, unfortunately too short, stay in your hotel. The top floor BBQ was delicious in a great setting of city view. The bed and pillows are the best in Bangladesh. Commute, from and to Airport, were smooth and efficient. I can only recommend your hotel for whoever is planning to stay in Dhaka.

I had the pleasure to stay twice at the Best Western Plus Maple Leaf hotel, which is conveniently located close to the airport. Rooms were spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. On both occasions the staff of the hotel were extremely helpful, but especially during my second stay, on 21-22 March, they exceeded all expectations. I can only say: five stars! Particular praise goes to Tuhin of the front desk, who kindly arranged for me to have a shower after I came back from a whole day tour of dazzling Dhaka with Taabu Tours (who come also highly recommended), even though official checkout time had passed. As I had two flights that night this was really appreciated Particular praise also for Samiul and Omar, who provided courteous and friendly service at the delicious buffet! Would I come back if I have the pleasure to visit Dhaka again? In one word: absolutely!

This was my first time to Dhaka, the hotel was great - perfect location, lovely choice of food, room had everything I needed. The staff are super friendly always willing to help and made me feel very at home. Thank you for the hospitality. This is a very clean, business-style hotel with a very convenient location, close to the airport. They offer a very efficient airport meet and greet service which I have frequently used. Rooms are modern, spacious, air conditioned and in good condition. The buffet restaurant is well organized with a good selection of food. Staff are well dressed, courteous and very helpful, especially Rakibul Hasan, the Front office supervisor who went out of his way to make my stay more comfortable. I have stayed here several times and always recommended it to my friends and colleagues. I won't stay anywhere else when in Dhaka.

Very nice, kind, professional and good man! He helped me check in and check out very well! The facilities here were great too. Nice fitness center and especially liked the outdoor Resturant on the 11th floor overlooking the city. Temp was perfect...25 degrees C! Overall the whole hotel is just a perfect place to stay and conduct biz! 5 min. drive from the airport is nice too! Thanks!

Dhaka`s traffic problems are legendary and so being able to leave the airport and be seated comfortably in the hotel enjoying a very good cup of coffee in under 20 minutes was fantastic! First class hotel pick up service. Friendly and efficient reception staff, perfect coffee and excellent restaurant serving international, Bangladeshi and Thai dishes. Our room was clean and quiet, with a good shower in the bathroom. I contacted the hotel via email before our trip and was delighted to be offered a very attractive room rate - considerably less than the comparison sites. 100% recommend this hotel

We are here on business and we came to stay at this hotel because it's close to the airport. It really ticks all the boxes. There is a cafe and 2 restaurants, a spa and gym. The staff are so friendly and attentive to all our needs. Jasmine, in the cafe, is very cheerful and is fantastic at making a great coffee and they have a delicious cake selection made on site. The restaurants offer a large selection of food, not just local and it is delicious. I thank all the management and staff for making us feel so welcome.

The staff at the Best Western Maple Leaf were fantastic, the driver was waiting for me before I had even cleared customs and check in was flawless. I only stayed one night but would highly recommend for any duration of stay. When transiting on my return leg I originally intended to stay at the airport but I rang the hotel and within 10 minutes a driver had collected me and they accommodated me for a 10 hour transit. Fantastic service all round that was much appreciated.

Visited the rooftop restaurant on the 10th floor with few friends. Basically it's a grill house restaurant. We enjoyed the evening with delicious food and service. Hotel is great, location, service, room and specially the restaurant & breakfast! The manager of the restaurante is very kindly and helpfull. There was a bit of smoke smell on the non-smoking room, but not that bad. For sure it is not hotel's fall, it might have come from a stupid person which doesn't respect the law. Congrats guys!

I've been in this hotel two time for a total of 5 weeks. Cleaning room service excellent. External security always present. Good Wi-Fi. The personal is professional and always to your service. The international food is good, especially the charcoal restaurant at the last floor. A special thanks for the professionality for my 5 weeks staying to Zahid, Samiul, Chingsui and all the staff.

This hotel is truly amazing and very comfortable. Their staff from reception to room service to house keeping to cafeteria on level 2 are just very kind and always ready to provide to serve the hotel guests at anytime. This BW has awesome food. The hotel looks small but rooms are large and spacious. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay near airport. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. If one is only travelling with a back pack or small suitcase - you could very comfortably walk to the airport.

The rooftop BBQ restaurant food & service was great with an amazing view of the Runway. We had a very pleasant dinner here service quality was up to mark. All of the staffs were polite and smiley. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my well known and colleagues.

Highly recommend this clean, modern and convenient hotel, run by professional and friendly staff. We had a long transit, so rather than wait at the airport, contacted the hotel and they sent a car to collect us. We had lunch in the restaurant which had a range of different cuisines on offer. Normally I do stay at Sonargoan Hotel. This is first time I stayed here at Best Western Maple Leaf. It is very clean. Food is good. And hospitality is excellent. Location is very close to airport. Going to city is not a big deal with UBAR.

Perfect spot if you want to stay by the airport. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, especially Tuhin, Roy and Zahid at reception. They arranged a car to the airport and were generally very helpful with everything I needed. Rooms were nice and the hot waterfall shower felt great.

I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and it was a pleasant surprise. From the moment i checked in, to when i checked out, the hotel, all the staff from Front Desk to Housekeeping staff were all excellent. Breakfast at Tarragon restaurant on 2nd floor was very good, nice spread to cater to all tastes and staff were courteous & very friendly. I've stayed at many other of the more expensive chains in Dhaka before, but would place the Maple Leaf at the top of my list and would recommend to all.

Stay here when travelling though Dhaka. Very clsoe to airport - and you get a pick-up/drop-off. Staff very friendly - and if you travel regularly - remember you and your preferences. Hotel is clean, tidy and well maintained. Food excellent and they have two restaurants and a coffee shop. Not tried the rooftop terrace yet but the second floor restaurant has an excellent buffet or a la carte. Would recommend for travellers wishing to stay for a night. Not left the hotel so cannot comment on surrounding area/facilities.

Close to the airport and great for quick layovers. Very attentive service. I checked in late and everything was very smooth. The hotel had someone meet me at the airport and help with luggage and navigating through customs etc.

When I stay at Maple Leaf I feel like at home, all staff is really nice and helpful, in this hotel there are two restaurants: one at second floor and one at 10th floor. Usually I take dinner at second floor and this evening I got my Greek salad and Mixed noodles suggested by Jasmine. I've never ate them but really good taste!! At least I called this dish Noodles Jasmine Style. I thanks also Aziz and Sami because their service was efficient and, of course, the chef because the food in here is really good! One mention also for the espresso coffee.

The Housekeeping Manager and all other staff extended a warm hospitality during my overnight stay. Slept well in a clean, well-furnished room. The breakfast was both healthy and hygienic. A plus point is it's 500m away from Dhaka international airport and the hotel provides shuttle service to the airport.

I can affirm everything was fine during my 4 days bussines trip. Staff were efficient and helpful, room was always as it had to, and restaurant services were great. To improve, I´d add some evening ammenities. The only negative point was the pricey bill, but not much hiher than others in Uttara.

Very close to the airport. Polite and very helpful staff all around, and we were able to get a late check out to rest up. Quiet room, efficient darkening shades, wonderful bed with what felt like (and perhaps were) down pillows, after a grueling 30 hour travel day. Large breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelets. We'd certainly stay again. Reasonable price point for us.

Building and facilities-wise, this is a typical airport hotel. No frills but efficient. On the day I stayed here, the staff was super efficient, going out of their way to help me shop; pick me up and drop me at the airport at no extra cost; and agreeing to receiving part of the payment in cash as I had Takas to off load. Super happy.

I stayed at Best Western for 2 nights at first. A week later, I stayed with them again for 1 night. The staff was very professional, courteous, timely, and helpful. I had to travel by plane from Dhaka to Saidpur and they booked a flight for me right away. They also made a booking for me to stay with them for when I returned to Dhaka. The front desk staff kept some parcels and shopping that my friends had dropped off until I returned to the hotel at the end of the day, including some important papers. I felt very safe keeping my things with the front desk. They have a car service to and from the airport. They picked me up when I returned from Saidpur and dropped me off at the airport when I left Bangladesh. They were at the airport on time in both instances. Their car was nice and clean. I only had to ask and they fulfilled my requests. I will definitely stay with them again.

This hotel has two restaurants which serve very good iftar items during holy month of Ramadan.You can have buy one and get one offer for certain credit cards.In the first floor restaurant gives buffet iftar with dinner.Food quality very good and environmnt is unique. We availed iftar with family members and enjoyed a lot. Prices are affordable. The foreign borders also enjoy iftar menu.

This hotel is located only 500 m from the international airport and you should not pay more than 200 taka for a Tom Tom from the airport to the hotel. Reception is freindly and helpful. My room on the tenth floor was nice and clean with a good beed. Wifi OK fast and lots of tv channels. Breakfast was awesome. Everything you could possible think of. Even danish blue cheese. Good coffey. Sahida is the head waiter and he is the perfect choise for the job. Polite, nice and very keen to make you feel at home. I am glad to recommend this hotel. Both for one night and for more nights in Dhaka.

We stayed one night at this hotel to catch a flight. We were travelling in a large group and booked 4 rooms and requested the rooms be provided on the same floor, unfortunately the hotel was not able to provide this and gave us rooms across 3 floors although we had booked one month in advance. In general the hotel met our needs, we got picked up and dropped off at the airport in a nice spacious hotel vehicle. The staff were friendly and competent and the hotel provided adequate facilities. We eat at the rooftop restaurant and the food was excellent. However, when I compare this hotel with other similar or lower priced hotels in the neighbouring countries or other parts of the world, this hotel falls short. The rooms are small, shared spaces like lobby and corridors felt confined and dull. For short stays and if you want the assurance of an international brand, this hotel is fine, but I have stayed in better local hotels at significantly cheaper rates. I would like to mention that one of our luggage was left behind in the hotel luggage storage when we got dropped off at the airport. As soon as we realised this, we contacted the hotel and they delivered the luggage to us at the airport. We are grateful for this and how quickly this was done as we had no time left.

The hotel is in a strategic position close to the airport. It is quite clean and comfortable.The staff is quite kind. The food can be improved, sometimes the chefs make wrong recipes. The beverage policy should be changed, an hotel who wants get international guest must allows alcohol consumption with lower prices. Now are simply foolish and govt. taxes cannot be an excuse to sell a bottle of wine at more than 50euros (value 5/8 euros). The structure should be aligned with the other international hotels in the city. Anyway hotel highly suggested for long staying.

Clean, tidy, good service, hot shower and nice food at a reasonable price. An extremely conveniently located hotel near the airport so missing hours of traffic ! I always stay there when in Bangladesh and see no reason to change that.

The most close one from Dhaka Airport and if you start walking from the exit gate of airport, it won't take more than 5 minutes to reach hotel reception. A property with nice & international standard amenities, friendly & professional staffs, tasty food and comfy room for a relaxing sleep. The unique part is the rooftop restaurant of the hotel. You will enjoy awesome panoramic view of surrounding area, the airport runway and a part of Dhaka city. Specially evening view is so good from the rooftop when lights are all around. I am a frequent traveller. I stayed at Best Western Plus Maple Leaf during my recent business trip. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the staff in this mid-size hotel. Will definitely stay at this property again.

Good hotel, reasonably priced for Dhaka area. Beds are very comfortable, with top grade linen. TV caters for all nationalities. Restaurants on 2nd and top floors are good. Waiters and receptionists are friendly and always willing to help. Security has improved over the last year or so. Free shuttle service to and from airport. Would I return- yes I have many times over the last 3 years and will do again.

Professional staff, good food, clean room and nearby international airport. The room is quiet if is not located at the street side (in Dhaka the drivers are using the horn excessively). Honestly, I will always comeback with pleasure at this hotel.

In order to catch flights due to road blocks stayed one night. Ordinary but comfortable bed, food was so so in dinner, breakfast was not up to standard very few options. Stale food served e.g. croso bread and cheese. The toiletries are inadequate, no shaving razors which are essentially required for customers who are using this hotel as stopover. The hotel is certainly overpriced may be they do not get enough customers and therefore as a policy they take as much as they can from those few who had to stopover in need. However, this policy can be counterproductive as customers' pain had long term impact. I am sure management should rethink customer satisfaction on a long term basis.

This hotel is like an oasis in the midst of crazy Dhaka. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough to make us feel comfortable and well cared for. The breakfast buffet was astonishingly complete but the highlight was the rooftop bar where we enjoyed some great food. Airport shuttle was nice. Location is brilliant for the airport.

I really have to say that coming to Bangladesh I was worried about a lot of things, but coming to the Best Wester Plus Maple Leaf made my stay a very good one. The staff was very welcoming, (they even fetched me from the airport) and the room was above standard. If I ever come back I defenitely stay at that place again, since it is close to the airport which leaves out the traffic between airport and city centre. Also: The restaurant is recommended. Only thing: I was not allowed ANY visitors, even during the day and even if I had a suite wich a sitting area. That was a bit strange but after all, it's Bangladesh. But that was matched by great service and friendly staff with good english.

Very attentive and friendly staff! Shaheen did a great job cleaning up after me :). The breakfast buffet is large and covers many cultures. Internet is strong, outlets are universal, water has good pressure, heat, and no odor. Laundry was on time and perfect. Security staff was kind but competent. A nice view from my room. Very close to the airport, and easy to find on a major street. I would totally stay here again.

good service and clean. Our flight is 2am in the morning and we ask if they have 1/2 day rate so that we can take a shower b4 heading to the airport. They said can only cater for 1 hour for free, which is a lenient offer. Free shuttle to and from airport is a plus. But hotel restaurant is very slow. Wl return next time and expect some corporate rate.

The localisation of the hotel is perfect in Uttarah. Close to the airport and to the center. Rooms are of good size and the staff is really very nice. The hotel is located closed to a large avenue and those that are looking for no noise have to find another place. I do recommand that hotel.

This has been my 3rd stay at this hotel and it really feels like a home from home (stayed in the same room on all visits. Great service all round - staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The food available on the rooftop restaurant Charcoal is excellent and also great range from the other restaurant for breakfast and for room service. I think the gym needs one more running machine- there is room for it - only “negative” point really Highly recommended- close to airport and right side of town if you need to visit factories in Ashulia, Tongi and surrounding areas Should be back here early next year!!

Stayed at Best Western for exhibition in Dhaka. Overall the hotel experience was pleasant. Front desk was helpful whenever requested, same is to the staff in cleaning team (requested for extra chair, and it was delivered within 10 minutes!). The staff greets you when you leave and when you come back with smiles, which is really nice. Some points to take note: it is very close to main road, thus it can be quite noisy even till late night. Also, even though hotel room is generally clean, the shower is not very good (always have to call for help as drainage system is often stucked, and sometimes there is no hot water...) Generally would recommend for business as the location is really convenient (5 min away from airport).

This is the second time I used this hotel for my event with customers. The staff are professional and they looked into every single details and I can plan my event with ease. This property is very close to the Airport in Dhaka that our guests find it so much comfortable for them. They also liked the breakfast quality. The service was very good both in the room and in the lobby. Moreover, the security is also quite good enough to feel safe at this property.

All the staff very nice and helpful. 11 floor restaurant have very nice view, taste is good in the Bangladesh. The 2/f restaurant also the food also very nice. Hotel local is very good, from airport just 10 mins. The security feeling safety.

The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful, only one issue to report some customer book a non socking room, burt in the room can around 7 people to smoke all the evening and let the door open. After reclamation the hotel staff change this customer to a smoker room, maybe the hotel should apply some fine around 50USD to ensure that not append again, a lot of hotel applied this fine. I still recommended this hotel, because he is clean and well insulated from the external noise, not common in Dakha.

Stayed one night here as I had a few meetings in dhaka and domestic flight following day. Rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable. Location is very good, about 10 minutes from airport. The outstanding point about this hotel is it's customer service. We arrived at 10.30am and check in was at 2, yet they still managed to arrange a room for us within 1 hour. On check out we missed breakfast by almost 2 hours but Rakib and Sabbir on reception kindly arranged with kitchen staff to fix us a lovely breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels in various countries but the customer service I have received here exceeds all. I cannot recommend enough! !!

I stayed for two nights for business trip. (+) 1. Very near to airport. 2. Check in was very fast and the staff is very friednly and helpful. 3. New building with comforting odor. 4. Room design was simple and nice. 5. Bedding is very comfy. 6. They serve fresh fruit in room, its nice. 7. Roof top restaurant have a nice city and airport runway view. I tried their Lamb chop, big portion and delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive, especialy one guy name Jalal. (-) 1. Room size is very small. 2. Room view was very limited, this hotel neighbourhood is business district so my room view is another building wall. 3. Lobby area so small, they dont even has seating area. You have to sit on coffe shop beside reception. Despite all, i think i will return if i have early or late night flight.

Although i only stayed 1 night, i would certainly recommend this hotel, the room was clean an well organised and the bed was good, the staff is friendly, always smiling and the hotel restaurant serves excellent choice of food for breakfast and lunch. It is recommended to contact the hotel to arrange transportation from and to the airport, this is easier then trying to get there by taxi. Hotel transportation is good and fast.

I arrived very late and was welcomed with a smile. I was checked in with swift efficiency and the bags were in my room before I had time to blink. The public areas are clean and modern with a touch of Asian charm. The lift was clean, quiet with no fingerprints on the number touch plate. My room was bright and smelt fresh. The bed was very comfortable with no bumps or lumps. The sheets were white and crease free. The room is well lit and provides ample space from which to work from. The WiFi is free and easy to connect to. I has no buffering and a good level of internet speed is provided. There are plenty of sockets for you to charge all your gadgets. Tea, coffee and bottled water are complimentary within the room. The bathroom is cleaned to a high standard. There are good quality complimentary bathroom products. The towels were white and soft. I also used, for a charge, the pick up service form the airport. The car was in good condition and the driver was very friendly and courteous. I would stay here again. Please note when you come to Bangladesh you can obtain a visa on arrival $51 each. You have to fill in a form so bring a pen. When you have completed the form go to the little booth (one man in it) first he will give you a receipt. Then take all paperwork to the two men at the large wooden desk who will give you the visa stamp in your passport. Have to hand your accommodation because you have to put this on the form. They also want the hotel/ B&B etc phone number. It will save you time.

Good hotel. While it is very near to the airport (about 5 - 10 minutes drive, depending on traffic), it is far away from Gulshan and Dhanmondi. I stayed here on my last night, for about 5 hours before my flight back home. It is a good hotel to stay for the last night before your flight off, so that you do not have to worry about going to the airport much earlier, just in case the traffic is bad. I will definitely come back to this hotel again. Room is nice, clean and comfortable. Lighting is just nice. Only one bad experience - the power cut off twice, and once for more than a minute. The room was pitch dark. Perhaps, they should install emergency lamp in all room. Pitch dark room in a hotel can be scary, mmmmkay. Overall, great experience. Staff are great, security is good, no complain at all.

It's the best hotel in the north part of Dhaka (Utara) as most of the hotels are near Gulshan. Nice clean rooms and breakfast in morning gets you going. Stayed for second time and staff is very pleasant.

DAC is a difficult city for any foreigner and this hotel is the perfect place to call home. We stayed for a week at the Best Western and Roy and his team were fantastic and caring. We took ill and the hotel staff, espeically breakfast staff were kidn enough to even deliver special food to our room to help. the warmest people I have met in my life with the biggest smiles. Perfect location to airport with free transfer. Safe and woudl highly recommend for all western travellers. Thank you all for taking such good care of us and we will be back. The spa and massage was also a perfect relaxation with in house guest receiving a discount.

I am trying to come to this hotel, when I have to travel to Bangladesh. The close location to the airport is very conveniant. The staff is helpful, friendly ... and just nice. The service is great. The food quality in the restaurants is really good - I typically do not order a salat in this part of the world, but in Maple Leaf I have no issue. And when you look at the choices at the breakfast buffet, it will be difficult to find it better in a much higher rated hotel. The rooms are a bit smaller than normal, but surely big enough. The price is a bit high, but worth for what you get.

There are easy, lucky cities and countries, and difficult ones. Bangladesh is the Malthusian victim of overpopulation, limited resources, and climate change. Dhaka is where millions of people have settled in recent years, fleeing problems all over the country. The city is crowded and polluted. Movement in the streets, on foot or in some kind of conveyance (there are supposed to be some 400,000 rickshaws) is not easy, and traffic frequently locks in stationary mode for some time. This hotel is a jewel. Well run, it is a haven from the maelstrom outside. Yes, it is expensive for a developing country, but it is worth every penny to have a clean, quiet room in a hotel with good restaurants, a small fitness centre, and good staff. And, it is near the airport.

I stayed in Best Western Plus Maple Leaf hotel on my consecutive journey on August & then 19th Nov 2016. On both itinerary I stayed there for 3 days in a row. Little expensive for regular travelers (130 USD/night exl. tax) It's a good hotel. And if you are on a corporate deal, chances are you are getting one of the best deals at this range. Given your office negotiated well enough. Thank you Mr. Reza Khan for making my stay fabulous. Food is very good with mainly Continental, a few Chinese and European Cuisines. You can also enjoy few spicy local dishes. Rates are ok compared to other five stars Appreciated & Special Thanks to MR. Reza Khan Again !!! The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) If you are a smoker then please ask for a smoking room at the reception during Check in. Good Hotel near the airport. Shuttle service just takes 5 minutes. Clean with comfortable beds and warm water. Restaurant on 2nd floor is open 24/7. Restaurant on 11th floor with bbq on outside terrace closes at 10:30/11 pm

This Best Western hotel is better than any 5 star hotel in Dhaka. Though it is a relatively new hotel, unlike other hotels in the city, this is very well maintained. It is located just 5 minutes from the airport. The staff are the very kind and always ready to help. I highly recommend it. Beware about Dhaka's traffic. It is perhaps one of the worst in the world.

While the room service was taking place, a gentleman offered me an antihistamine tablets with a prescribe dosage. I was surprise and delighted with the service. After then, I knew that the gentleman goes by the name of Mr. Reza who is the hotel business development manager. This is something that I never expect. Finally, I understood that the people of Bangladesh are friendly, compassionate and caring. I stayed again here due to my best experience in past. This time it is again added to my Best. This time I used the GYM, sauna and steam though it is small but perfectly working. The housekeeping staff is very good and taking care of guest very nicely. I impressed with Mr Shahin ,a house keeping person's attitude and work. Finally the food as always the best of my Taste. And the best out them is Mr Nazmul Hasan who is taking personal care to each and every Guest and make sure they get the food of their taste. All the other person in Restaurant are also very humble, polite and taking a great care of guest. I Highly recommend to visit this hotel and enjoy the hospitability with great food.

This hotel can be considered a boutique hotel. The reception staff are friendly and check-in was efficiently done. I had the mini suite and was impressed with the appointment. Very nice layout and the bathroom even had a jacuzzi and a rain shower. Air conditioning in the room was very controllable and the double bed provided for an amazing sleep. However do get a room not facing the main road as it is too noisy. Not to mention also being a Muslim country, the call to prayer is very discernible in the room. The small gym has a wonderful stationary cycle but the universal gym leaves a lot to be desired. The treadmill is ok but no padding on the base unlike newer machines. Housekeeping is very receptive and room service food was quite good. What I did not appreciate was the room service staff waiting to be tipped when there is already a 10% Service Charge on the bill. I did not have local currency and intended to make all my payments by credit card. I did not want to tip in foreign currency as I know they will have difficulty in changing it due to strict currency laws. The coffee house staff are very receptive and the food is quite palatable.

The location was excellent. Staff very friendly, breakfast and dinner, delicious. My room was very clean and silent. Provided me the environment I needed for sleep... I had forgotten my ring in the room, they urgently handed me over the ring before I left. What else would you expect from a temporary housing?. I would definitely prefer the same hotel again...

I stayed in The Maple Leaf for two weeks and the customer service was amazing. Every member of staff is as attentive and well trained as the next. The staff are trained to remember that the customer is their first priority. The rooms are gorgeous, massive beds, lush deep mattresses, high quality bedlinen, clean bathrooms...really clean european style rooms. The hotel photos of the rooms are an accurate reflection of the rooms in real life. There is no pool, but there is a roof terrace restaurant, which is great, there is also a beauty salon / spa and a small gym. If you need a driver or concierge to the airport, reception will sort it for you. Highly recommend and it is also reasonable priced by Dhaka standards.

Stayed there last week before our trip to London. The Hotel rooms are excellent, very comfortable at par with all the best hotels in the Country. Food was great. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the amazing country of Bangladesh. I spent 5 days in Dhaka. I stayed in the conveniently located (5 minutes free shuttle from the airport) Best Western plus Maple leaf hotel. I have a positive reaction to the hotel and facilities. All in all was a good stay. For feedback, I have some positives and a few negatives...... I missed having a pool on site, although the front desk said that if I wanted a swim, they could arrange something for me. This may be a cultural difference and it obviously differs between everyone, but I found the staff generally over attentive. Particularly in the restaurants. My experience was that while dining in one of the quiet restaurants I had staff literally hovering by my table. The moment I shifted in my chair, they were there, asking if I need anything. To many, this may be considered good service, but while I was clearly trying to have a quiet moment, I found this a little over the top. There is good service and there is trying too hard. This I suppose will come from experience. Another negative for me was again, possibly a cultural difference. I am a smoker. And every time I went outside for a cigarette I had staff commenting on the amount I smoke. Not really something you want to hear. Sometimes when you travel you need a level of anonymity, depending on the size of the hotel, that can be possible, but at the Maple Leaf, it seemed that you saw familiar faces every turn I took. In some ways, this can be positive, but it felt too much at times....... On a positive note, The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. True Bangladesh hospitality. The front desk were very efficient and accommodating and helpful. Always smiling. All the staff were great but some honourable mentions - Ashish at the roof top restaurant was great! Reza, the business manager was super friendly. Giving me a gift and calling me a rockstar (old rockstar). He took pictures of us. I think it's because I have tattoos (that don't rub off). Nazrul was a top geezer security guard, very helpful and Fatima was always sweet on the door. Lastly, Anwar Hussein kept my room spotless. Thanks for that!! I would recommend the hotel for short business trips. Top hotel, top food and ultimately, it's the staff who make it!

Hi I have stayed in Maple leaf twice this month. The experience has been quite satisfying. Very friendly and helpful staff increases the comfort and pleasure by two folds in otherwise tiring business trips. To quote an incident, the morning buffet was lacking on eggs and chicken items however was prepared n taken care of immediately when pointed out. The man behind it is Md. Nazmul Hasan Supervisor Food & Beverages. He showcases and clearly understands the importance of representing the service industry. Definately an asset to Maple leaf. Would also recommend Lenin and Akhi in his team for giving good prompt table service. All the best.. Regards Sudhir

Nice place to spend your short business trips in Dhaka city. Major advantage is proximity to Dhaka airport which takes only 5 minutes and you are assured no traffic jams at any time of the day. Airport pick & drop is properly arranged by the hotel. Rooms are well maintained, clean & sleeping quality is excellent - convenient AC & bed. Overall staff is very efficient & friendly. Ideal to have business meeting at the hotel since traveling to many parts of Dhaka city mainly commercial areas would take longer time & get in to traffic congestion. Although limited choices in breakfast & dinner buffet its quality & taste is high. Free WIFI provided in rooms & other areas is very fast & work well. Free local calls within Dhaka city is useful. My first experience is it would be a nice place for short business visits.

The rooms are decent - modern and clean. A little small, but good enough for a single traveller. 1 thing to comment is the food at Charcoal. They do not have a drinks menu, and so no prices are shown anywhere. I ordered a soda water, and the waiter asked if I wanted lemon. I said yes, then he comes with this lemon syrup and pours into my Schwepps soda water. I ordered a 2nd soda water, but this time he didnt not offer the lemon but I didnt bother. When the bill came, I was surprised - that little big of lemon syrup made the drink cost twice as much, and they charged it as lemon soda?! I was unhappy when I saw the bill and the waiter just shrugged it off and said it is lemon soda. I paid in cash and told him I wanted the receipt (to show here) and instead he threw it away and kept the change! Very unpleasant end to an otherwise good stay.

From the outside, it doesn't look much to be honest, the reception is tiny and rather chaotic as the lack of space makes it difficult to queue behind someone without getting rather close to the person in front. A little bit of confidentiality is important and missing when checking in. The reception staff are very friendly and once check in was complete and I entered the lift, it was a different world! Very modern hotel and spacious too. The rooms are on par with any 4/5 star hotel in the world and the mod cons are excellent. Whatever you do, I would wholeheartedly recommend the rooftop restaurant. The view is breathtaking, but beware of the mosquitos. The staff are so incredibly friendly, professional and dedicated. I would certainly stay there again. The only gripe I had (and I told them about it!!) was the $5 charge for the airport drop-off. Oh, the airport is less than a minute away but rather difficult to get to on foot. This should be complimentary in my opinion. Overall, a good experience at this rather nice hotel, although it resembles a tardis even Dr Who will be proud of!

Well the hotel is centrally located and the staffs are excellent and very friendly... My advice to meet Mr. Roy at the front desk , he is such a wonderful host and we felt really at home... My hotel experience was excellent. The staff are kind and are willing to extend a hand if you need extra help. The room was not so roomy but it was well kept. Breakfast also has a wide variety of food. And the best thing that it is only 5-7 mins away from the airport and they do airport transfers. Will definitely come back in the future.

Great Service, care. The staff are really the differentiators here. Gentle and take extra care of the requirements. One example, The House keeping guy came for evening service, first requested permission to carry out the service, checked out everything, confirmed to me what all he had done. When I said no and thanked him for his service, he requested if he may convey something AND requested me to kindly inform my friends about the good service and quality of this hotel, if I may. This is a simple gesture but goes a long way to prove that the staff are so concerned about the Word of Mouth of the guests to create the right impression about the hotel and use it as a brand. Hats off to them and their service. Only point one has to think is the rather high tariff. May be due to the location of being near to the airport, but it is still high.

The rooms are small, but very clean and adequate, the staff are very helpful and very friendly, cannot do enough for you, the coffee shop is great, lovely coffee, the 10th floor is a very nice place to have dinner at the end of a working day, a very relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Very very close to the Dhaka International Airport, you can avoid the dreaded Dhaka city traffic and reach to the hotel very quickly. Overall a good value for money business hotel.

The place is very close to the international hotel, takes about 5 min or so. The rooms are quite luxurious but the prices are on the expensive side. The hotel has a nice restaurant and the breakfast has good selections. I found a bed bug in my room but the staff was very cooperative and changed my room immediately. The personnel are very eager to help and very supportive.

The Best Western Plus Maple Leaf is a good place for a short stay in Bangladesh. The hotel is literally minutes from the airport. The rooms are relatively small in comparison to larger luxury hotels and the closet space is at a premium but it is clean, well kept, and comfortable, especially for a short stay. There are two restaurants with a decent menu, the food is good and well presented. The overwhelmingly best feature about the hotel is an Outstanding staff and service. The Housekeeping and F&B Supervisors do an outstanding job of providing top notch service. Their staff is pleasant, courteous, efficient, reliable, and motivated to provide for all your needs, meeting and exceeding your expectations. I had a two week stay for business and was very pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my stay.

Very friendly staff at the rooftop restaurant "Charcoal" overlooking the airport - Sincere thanks to the supervisor Mr. Moyeen and the Chef there. Small but functional rooms, silent even though being on the main road. Very rigid about drinking water bottles, you have to pay if you may drink more than 1 ltr per day. Most weird is that they fanatically check your bags at entrance for water you may carry from outside and put stickers.

Stayed for 4 nights- Very close to the airport and midway to citycentre. Though rooms are small but are well maintained, clean, hygienic. Food is average but you have options nearby on Restaurants to go if you don't like hotel food. overall nice property to stay with.

I find the hotel staff really very supporting and the food is great. I enjoyed the stay. Though the rooms are small but they are well maintained and well lit. I am Indian so their supervisor made sure that food taste like India.

I stayed for one night and thought the bed was great! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They helped me activate my SIM card, and overall made the hotel seem like a full service place. Breakfast was very good, food for every taste, some local recipes, very professional and helpful staff. I would select this hotel over any others in the city and will make sure I stay here when I come to Dhaka again.

Very close to airport but amazingly quiet even though I could see the planes out my window. The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. Very comfy bed and modern room layout. Will definitely stay here again.

its a new hotel. modern, beautiful and small. but nice place to spend time. specially lobby lounge. quite, small and cheap. i been to meet with my client and it was good meeting for me. but regarding transportation, its not easy to find any paublic transport easily. if you have your own transportation then its the best place.

the only positive about this hotel is good location and helpful staff!! the rooms are small. the breakfast is not up the standard of 5 star. The hotel has a spa and health club which is a added attraction & very close to the airport!

The hotel is very near to the airport but you can't get it by walk. Despite this proximity the hotel rooms aren't noisy. There is a good restaurant on the rooftop. The wifi works very well everywhere. We had our room even if we arrived at 10.30am. The service is very good and all the hotel is cool. The transport' service to the airport is included.

The Hospitality at the Uttara, Best Western Plus Maple Leaf Hotel is excellent. The service is very prompt and the Hotel Services are Managed Professionally. If you ate travelling to Dhaka on Business or Pleasure, this is a place you should try. The Food is exquisite. After staying at the hotel for a month I can only express my sincere gratitude to all the staff. It was my first time in Bangladesh and they have made my stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurant food is great with a huge choice of local and international cuisine. The room was a good size and always clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would recommend a stay here.

Arriving Dhaka after mid-night, the room was a bit of a delight after a long day travel and location in a few minutes next to the airport was just great. Being the first time to Bangladesh, having heard of bad experience about the city traffic, while considering the need to catch a morning flight, this place was a perfect choice. Even though the hotel is in close neighborhood of the airport, noise didn't come in and you could have a comfortable good sleep. However, it wasn't really pleasant when you check-in the room in the mid-night and the staff followed behind coming in to spray mosquito killer spray, leaving you with the smell of it. Would be much appreciated if they could do that before the guests' arrival. My room seemed to be next to the entrance of the fitness centre and it was a little noisy in the evening when other guests started going in and out, playing the music loud… Other than this, everything was fine. Shower was user-friendly and comfortable. Food was great, both room service dishes and buffet breakfast, though the Bangladesh style was a little salty (?). Staff have been friendly and helpful too. I will stay again for my next visit to Bangladesh. Thank you!!

I've just completed my second visit to Bangladesh. I again stayed at the Best Western Maple Leaf. My first stay was two week after they opened in 2014. This stay coincided with their 1st year anniversary of the opening in 2014. Even though the Best Western is a chain this hotel is more of a small bouquet hotel. The improvements to the facility was impressive . The roof top restaurant is open and serves BBQ. They have added a Spa areas for massage etc. The restaurant on the 2 floor improved the menu with great choice and also serve a buffet on the weekends. The food was excellent. As usual the customer serve is outstanding. This really is the choice to make for a successful stay in Dhaka. I highly recommend it.

Was my first time heading to Bangladesh and it was with some trepidation as there was some unrest. My partner had been staying at the hotel for some time and was quite positive. Arrival at reception was warm and welcoming. The hotel was quite new and the rooms reflected this. Fairly standard up to date decor in compact rooms. Bathrooms were very small but for a short stay were more than adequate. We used the roof top terrace a few times for drinks and dinner. A great view across the city and airport. We were lucky that it was not too hot. Service was a bit hit and miss and I think that cam down to the inexperience of the staff and a bit of a language barrier. They do offer beer and wine to foreigners but supply can be limited. The main restaurant which we used for breakfast is comfortable and there is a decent choice of food and the coffee was fine too. Overall it was a very good stay made even better by meeting the owner whose hospitality was incredibly gracious.

After a very bad experience on a poor hotel, I moved to this hotel, it was surprisingly good in service and quality, although its not cheap, but you wont regret to pay extra for much better service and quality. The rooms are not big, but very modern and clean, it can provide you a very comfort stay during your trip, This hotel is only 1 year old, everything still feeling brand new. The breakfast was also very good buffet type and many varieties. The top floor (roof top) Grill restaurant is a must to go during the stay, the food and service are so good, although its top floor, you won't find much good view as Dhaka is not a very beautiful city at night. Anyway, I had great stay in this hotel and I sure will pick this one again on my next business trip.

I stayed at the Maple Leaf for one week. It will be celebrating its first anniversary very soon. It is very convenient to the airport just 5 minutes away even with Dhakka's famous traffic. The restaurant had a varied menu and everything I tried was very good. The breakfast was very good compared to other hotels I have stayed. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, a responsive staff. I'd stay here again.

Very nice Hotel, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, I stay there 3 nights on 18th sept. came from ItalyStaffs are very polite and professional, specially restuarant staff wellcoming with smile and greet with well manner , everytime when I come to the Restuarant. And Breakfast Buffet is all organized . You can find all kind of foods including cheese, freash and mouth-watering local fresh fruits. Healthy soups and many verity of Bakery selections! These Bakery goods are in par with European 5 star Hotels! They are serving fresh juice & freshly brewed coffee , I think its the best Breakfast I had in dhaka city. I had 2 dinners at the hotel restuarant , the food tested excellent, food quality & presentation was 5 star standard, I strongly recomended this Hotel. Overall its a great Hotel! We will come back again!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights a few days before Christmas 2010 and it was everything I hoped it would be. It's well located off the Main Street and the main markets of the town and room we paid for (the attic loft deluxe) was probably the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. The included breakfast was good enough and the mini bar in the room not overly priced. The overall decor and feel of the hotel was great and it served as an excellent base to explore At dhaka at Christmas time. ! Thanks also to the small group of people who clapped and cheered when they saw us

Good steaks and delicious chicken wings. However, did not care for the Thai soups. Service was very attentive. Manager came by and checked up on us. Great thing about the Tarragon Restaurant is it is open 24 hours. It's on the 2nd floor.

The hotel is very close to the airport 5 minutes walking distance. The rooms are excellent with modern infrastructure. The staff is also very helpful. The roof top restaurant is also good. It's location is strategic to people who visit factories as a lot of time is saved in traffic. some good restaurants are also located within walking distances.

Rooms are equipped with most modern fittings and furnitures. Very well decorated and they provide with excellent amenities. Food is upto the standard. Excellent staffs and very well behaved. Joy the Receptionist was very helpful and very well behaved. Overall I would say that it's was worth paying whatever the charge were. I would definitely stay here again if I have to stay at a hotel in Dhaka city although we do have a company Resthouse. It was worth staying here. Sharing some beautiful family suit room pic.

I travel every month to Dhaka and have been constantly appalled at what passes for international hotels in Dhaka. The prices of the established hotels are day light robbery and an insult to all business people who had to stay in them because there were no alternatives. The food in most of these hotels was also second class at 6 star prices!. I have been using this newly opened hotel for a few months now and have enjoyed every stay. The rooms are very good and just what you need. The prices are correct so for once you can relax without thinking "why is this hotel ripping me off"?! The BBQ restaurant on the terrace is the best (I would eat there every single night without hesitation) The management are all very attentive in every area (especially the restaurants) and highly trained in the West at some of the best 5* Hotels in Europe. Is it perfect? not quiet but that has more to do with being so new and junior staff having to understand the expectations of international travellers - small example of what I mean is staff leaving room service trays in the stair well for later collection because they assume business people always use the lifts. I always check the fire exits ( don't you?). But this is far outweighed by quality of rooms, food, management and location (5 mins from Airport- my business is not in city centre),All rooms are double glazed so street noise is at acceptable levels. But if you are particularly sensitive to noise then all back rooms are silent. Oh did I also mention they have the best Ice Cream ? :)

My wonderful experience started with airport pick-up. The greeter was waiting at immigration so I did not have to worry about how I would get to the hotel. They had my check-in ready to go and I received a very warm greeting from all staff. Mr. Hossain gave me his card in case I needed assistance during my stay. I am beyond impressed with the staff at the hotel: they were extremely friendly and professional. By the end, everyone knew my name. Overall the food was great; I expected to get sick in Dhaka but did not feel even a little sick at all during my 6 night, 7 day stay. The food quality is excellent. They have a variety of food options for lunch and dinner and their Western food is good too. The breakfast buffet could be improved (I don't normally eat chicken nuggets and chow mein for breakfast but they also have eggs, toast, and fruit). I also felt extremely safe in Dhaka as they arranged private cars for my business meetings around the city. Hiring a car through the hotel was convenient even if it was pricey. You did not need cash for this service as it is added to your hotel bill. A suggestion to the hotel: I recommend making the airport transfer complimentary, as the hotel is so close to the airport and transfer is otherwise a bit pricey. I understand why other hotels might charge for this, but many hotels offer the free service and are much farther away. While I am glad I was safe during my travel around the city, the hourly car hire is also very expensive, much more expensive than if you booked directly with the service, since the hotel charges a large premium. I suggest working out a daily price rather than hourly, as hourly hire was very costly when I had 10+ hour days. Hotels in Dhaka are very expensive, and this one is no exception, but I was happy with the service I received. Some other great features: they have a wonderful lobby to sit and work outside of your hotel room, but the room is also great for business travel with a desk area and chair. The TV service is fantastic with English news and entertainment channels. The shower pressure is some of the best I have ever had. The WiFi is fast and could handle all of my Skype calls back home. The hotel had no electricity issues. The hotel is new, and the room was very clean. At checkout, they will help answer any questions you have about your room bill and mine was very accurate. All of my food and beverage and car hire charges were clearly listed. Thank you for making my first of many trips to Dhaka a wonderful experience. See you in a few months!

Very close to the airport, only about 10 minutes driving. Single room is small but quiet, comfortable and very clean, air condition and free wifi work well everywhere. Staff are very polite and friendly, securities helped pull the car door every time we left or arrived, breakfast is hearty, you can find at least 3 kinds of cheese including blue cheese. I had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant, the food tasted good, especially local cuisine, I strongly recommend beef masala, I think it's the best masala dish in dhaka city. overall it's a great hotel to stay for business

Great stay and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Very warm hotel when you enter the lobby, nice for everything. There is a roof to restaurant with a group of music band. Breakfast very good, overall I'm satisfied great great city hotel in Dhaka
