Best Western Hotel Bad Rappenau

I can´t count how many times I stayed at this hotel. I used to go to Bad Rappenau for a business trip for two years almost every week and almost every time I stayed in this hotel. I can say it became my second home and I really felt like at home. Rooms are not big but comfortable. I always got complimentary bottle of water every day, there was a possibility to make a coffee or tea in the room. Breakfast was served in the petrol station restaurant. I liked this concept. It is something unusual and unique. The choice of food was sometimes limited as staff couldn´t always make it to serve petrol station customer and feed the breakfast buffet at the same time. I got to used to it. Hotel is located close to the highway, so the best choice for just layover or if you don´t mind to drive to the town. It is possible to have a dinner at the petrol station restaurant, but the quality is corresponding to the type of the restaurant. There is also Mc´Donalds and Burger King nearby, but it is necessary to drive there, walking would be to risky because there is no side walk.

This is a ordinary hotel, but with a clean room and a good bed. I miss a fridge in the room, but the little work desk is fine. The bathroom is compact but OK. The staff is welcoming. Since the hotel is located far away from shops etc. it is nice to have the petrol station with cafe next door.

Directly situated next to the highway, this motel/hotel is perfect if you need not do a stopover. Modern and clean and everything you need included. Breakfast is served at gas station opposite side of the hotel.

Solid highway hotel. It's not steps away from any historic downtown (it,s a highway motel people!) but it's clean, comfy, quiet (I did not sleep with the the window open though), wih good breakfast (you have to squeeze your own orangesbut hqve sufficient choice) and a 24/7 ok-ish restaurant/beerstub. Reception, breakfast and restaurant are in the gas station so you will have to walk all of 50 m. Now it may not be the most comfortable setup but if you find it disturbingly difficult maybe you should stop driving on the highway by yourself.

Situated right next to a filling station with meals being provided at the filling station dining facility you are always aware of the fact that you are on the move........ Rooms are clean and adequate (small) - wifi is free. Breakfast is adequate and is popular with travellers.

This hotel is just 900 m. away from the highway. So to say - just in the frontyard of Aral tank station. So be prepared for the vehicles, trucks and non stop action. The reception is to be found in the petrol station as well. The rooms and the hotel itself were clean and tidy. However, my colleague had problems with his key card - spending 5 to 10 minutes to unlock it... Not very impressive, especially in the morning when you are about to leave to some important appointment. The breakfast is also served in the Café of the petrol station. Cosy? Not at all. A strage feeling though. The food was ok although nothing impressive or special. And after all 99€ per night... sorry, but never ever again.

Well, of course a stay next to the autobahn and a gas station is not always the most pleasant stay. But at least the rooms seems pretty clean. Breakfast is given in the gas station which is weird, but serves the purpose.

We like to introduce some stops when driving to our vacation location. This was one of them. The hotel serves perfectly for the purpose. It is modern, quite and spacious. Right next to a "Gasthof" which could use some more energetic and speedier waiters. All in all, an ok experience.

Stopped here over night driving to France. Room booked in Reception over from hotel by the Services. Very kind and helpful receptionist. Room was very reasonable price & much less than I expected. Room was large and fully accessible to wheelchair users as was the shower wet room. Breakfast was good quality with plenty choice. Would definitely plan my route to stop here again and recommend it to anyone whether travelling throughout looking for a base for a holiday in the area.

This is a very clean hotel and the rooms are of a great standard. Hotel is also quiet to say it is near the autobahn Good shower, good bed I would say the hotel is great if your driving in the autobahn and need a stop over then this is the one. I stayed for to see a mate in a nearby village and the drawback for me was trying to get a taxi but like I say if you drive then this is perfect The food on offer at the 24 hour garage is ok but not brilliant but then you don't expect it to be do you?

The hotel was, for me, perfectly placed half way between home and where I was going. The hotel although just of the autobahn was quiet, and being an Autohof and near a town, had all the things that you need. There was no internet at the time, router not working, but you could use Wi-Fi in the restaurant. The food was good, breakfast was very good. The room was very good and nearly brand new, cleanliness was very good. I used this hotel on my return journey which I booked when I left the hotel

The hotel is clean, efficient, and located just off A6 east of Heilbronn. The name is a bit misleading because the actual town of Bad Rappenau is 4 miles away. The included breakfast was the best one I've had from this hotel chain but the staff like all the BWs I've visited, are top notched and ready to help in an instant. The location is good for a visit to Bad Wimpfen and the Bad Rappenau Kurort, but not as ideal as being right in either town. Overall, the hotel served our purposes well.

We saw the Hotel from the Autobahn and decided to spend the night here. At first sight we thought that we were in the USA exactly the same set up as in the States. Best Western is a US name of course. The stop was handy with all the facilities, gas, restaurant and hotel. The Hotel was brand new fully automated but reception was in the Restaurant building not in the same building as the Hotel and that's a little confusing. The room was big as necessary with all the amenities. Everything was working fine except the WiFi, 5-6 times they have changed us password without success, Their excuse was that WiFi base and Hotel are in different buildings but that was not good for me.No more complaints, parking and breakfast complimentary with a lot of things to choose. Dinner was fast food type, we had pizza was OK. Staff quite friendly and professional and rate quite reasonable. It is a handy stop and it is worth to choose to stay here but they must fix the WiFi.

We chose the BestWestern Bad Rappenau as it has a Tesla Supercharger station next to it, which makes life easy when driving an electric car across Europe. The check-in desk is not in the hotel, but across the car park at the cafeteria. The hotel is clean, comfortable and reasonably quiet and relatively inexpensive, with ample parking. We therefore thought it was more than fit for purpose for a one-night stay. The food at the cafeteria opposite was perfectly adequate, and we ate outside. Breakfast was also good. Room tip: we wanted a double bedded room, but these were significantly more expensive on the website when we booked. However by moving a side table positioned between the beds, you can push them together. OK there are two duvets, but most double beds seem to have two duvets on the continent anyway!

Modern hotel with clean rooms and very good wi-fi connection. Reception and cafe for breakfast is in a seperate building but it didn't make any inconvenience. A minus is a logistic centre nearby and if you sleep with window open so from 4 AM trucks starts to move.

Bad Rappenau is a nice hotel; so everything is clean and works. Rooms are standard size; some or view of green hills. The restaurant is in front of hotel has a good breakfast (fruits, juice & coffee, bread, eggs to order, and meat) But the best part of this hotel is the hospitality of the hotel room. The hotel is located is not so nice for me but for but other is nice @

Great place to stop for a sleep. My single room was perfect,modern and clean and I got a great sleep. It is not a holiday hotel but for what it is, it is nice and clean. The downfall of this hotel is that there are no things to do near by. If you do not have a car, you are completely stuck. There is no hotel bar/restaurant or reception. When you check in, you go to the fuel station across a forecourt. This is also where you must eat in a small restaurant.

Next to motorway and truckers car park , out in the sticks. Walk out of the door straight on to a petrol station forecourt. Check in desk in separate building between cafe and petrol station shop Is this really a Best Western ?? Think motorway service area !
