Best Western Plus Sikeston

Traveled through to Florida and stopped for the night. Had the dog with us. Easy access to doors to let out. Hotel is dated but clean. Not much around the hotel. Breakfast was nothing special. Beds were comfortable.

The only thing I have to say is if you want to be treated like family and not just a guest this is the best place to be. Good Food Awesome Customer Service and The best Housekeeper.Keep up the Great Service…

If you want to experience southern hospitality, meet Mrs Flora responsible for the front desk. Kind, gentle, and professional person. With tips for travelers. The hotel is well maintained. Clean, big rooms. Everything worked in our room. Very comfortable bed. Very well-assorted breakfast and items were replenished all the time. Safe and quiet place. When I'm in the area again, my place is this hotel for sure

Great stay here! The area felt safe and it was clean, comfortable and reasonable. They had a very nice breakfast which had eggs, sausage, fruit, waffles, pastries, yogurt and more. We will definitely come again! The staff was very nice and accommodating too.

I regularly travel from Michigan to Texas and stop in Sikeston for dinner at Lambert's. The Best Western has been my preferred place to spend the night. Due for an upgrade but great service and staff.

Everything was great! Staff was kind and friendly. Breakfast bar was well maintained and stocked. CANT FIND ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THE BEST WESTERN PLUS IN SIKESTON. Will stay there again for sure. The overall experience was better than other 4 star hotels.

Found this place traveling from Texas to Chicago. The rate was good and it had a free breakfast but only served till 9am and being retired not on a schedule would like breakfast to be served a little later. The room was comfortable and clean. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if in the area.

This motel is not up to Best Western Plus standards. We stayed in a Best Western Thunderbird the previous night that was much better. The staff in Sikeston were very nice and helpful however the amenities were not so good. The heater in the first room that we were given did not work. In the second room, we had to get help to get the TV to work. The coffee maker did not work. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not very good. The eggs were watery. There was no fresh fruit. This is not the motels fault but Sikeston does not have much to offer.

Service was great! Hotel was nice. Front clerk was very sweet and helpful. Would recommend staying there. Location was in a good area. Hotel was clean. We didn't get to use the pool we came in to late. But the lady up front wish I would of got her name. Offer to open it to let the kids swim cause we had been traveling 15 hours!!

For a Best Western Plus, really did not meet our expectations. The room smelled like a smoking room, bathroom was dirty, debris on the floor. Informed front desk when we checked out. They were concerned with the issues we reported and apologized.

I chose this motel because it was a Best Western about half way through my 900 mile trip with my dog. Everything from the welcome to the clean and quiet room was great. They had Dish Network which worked easily and correctly. It was so nice to find something to watch quickly without having to step through every channel. It was right at the exit for highway 55, but I neveer heard anything from the traffic.

The room smelled of moisture and mildew. There were hairs on the sheets and the bathroom was cleaned at a very low standard: soap was smudged on the counter, a drip of something yellowish brown was on the outside of the toilet bowl. I wiped black out of the air conditioner vent to try to reduce the amount of damage the air quality was doing to my lungs. The lady at the front desk was very polite and accommodating and the bed was comfortable enough. I liked the soap.

I stayed at the Best Western in Sikeston on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. It's not a Marriott or a Hilton, but overall I thought it was a good value for the money. It was clean, the employees were friendly, the breakfast was OK. And best of all, it was right off of IH55. It was just far enough off the interstate so that I didn't hear traffice noise all night long, so the location is perfect. There is a pretty good Mexican restaurant (El Bracero) on the east side of IH55, under the overpass, 7/10ths of a mile away. There's also a McDonald's and a Burger King close by, and a Walmart 3 miles away. I would stay there again.

Overall, the amenities were all as expected. Dis not use the pool or exercise room. The staff was awesome and the breakfast was A1. The only negative was the damp and smelly carpets in rooms and hallway.

If you find yourself in need of accommodations in Sikeston, DO NOT STOP HERE. Easily in the top 2 of most disgusting hotel rooms I've been in. For context, I'm in hotels several times a month on average. It's musty. Moldy. Smelly. The carpets are damp. If I wasn't too tired to carry my bags back out I would go sleep in the car. There is a literal pile of hair in the tub. Worst Best Western ever.

Except for the carb-rich breakfast, I equate this facility to an old worn-out Motel 6 at a Best Western price, and wouldn't stay here again. Thin worn-out towels, unintelligible desk clerk, shabby out-dated bath, etc.. Needs refurbishing and brought up to Best Western's usual high standards!

Nice motel right off the freeway. The owner was super nice and friendly. I liked the breakfast. The TV and cable worked well. Nice quite location. No real problems. We got a good nights sleep. Try it, you'll like it.

This building is older than others but the cost of my stay was only a few dollars less than the brand new Hilton we stayed in a week earlier. The beds were clean if that's all you're looking for. The bathrooms are dated. The breakfast had a variety but was bland unless you want pastry or cereal.

All aspects of this stay were sub standard. The man checking us in barely spoke. The room smelled of dog urine. The furniture was chewed. There was mildew in the walls in the bathroom. The window had a bullet hole. There were no locks on the back door to the outside. I do not recommend.

I stopped for a night between two 12 hour drive days on a roadtrip. With no need for amenities the internet and largely continental breakfast made a great stopover. I miss the breakfast to go in a bag previously offerered.

Although our room was clean, it was in need of updating and repairs. The staff was fine and the breakfast was one of the better ones we've had at hotels. We couldn't get the heating unit to change temperatures so we finally shut it off and the vent fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy.

Hotel was very clean. We will stay at other best western since we had very good experience with this one. Staff was very helpful. They told us about lambert restaurant. We will be back. We thank you all for a great stay.

We always stop here on our way to Florida for the winter. Clean rooms, friendly staff, comparable rates and a good hot breakfast. Right off the interstate so easy to get to. Love knowing what we are getting when we check in!

Stay away! You get what you pay for. Hotel was run-down. Room smelled musty, tiny squished pillows on the bed were stained, bathroom was in very sad shape, noisy refrigerator in room, huge leak in hallway pouring out onto the floor when we left. I would avoid at all costs.

Clean comfortable rooms/bed, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. We had an issue with our room key and the front desk clerk was quick to help us out and fix the issue. If ever in the area again we will definitely stay again.

Out of a seven week unplanned road trip we found the Best Western Plus in Sikeston, Missouri one of the best during our whole trip. Living out a suitcase and looking for a decent area, budget worthy, breakfast included accommodation we found this particular Best Western just what we needed after so many other disappointing places to stay. We only hope our future travels stays are this exceptional.

The hotel was very run down looking. There was a strong odor when you entered the hotel upon checking in. The front desk staff were all very pleasant. The room had a very musty, smell like it hadn't been occupied in a long time. The room was also very outdated and the bed was very hard

This Best Western was very nice. The check in was fine and the breakfast good. There is also a nice pool where we were able to do a few laps before breakfast. We only were there for a short time. Just to rest our heads!

Terrible unsafe area, registration staff are rude and hostile. Breakfast is a joke, don't waste your time. Room is decent but there are far better hotels in the area where you are less likely to be murdered.

I was greeted by kind and professional staff at front desk. Our room was very clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We would stay there again. Would highly recommend to our friends and family.

From the minute we stepped into the front office, there was a horrible smell that lingered the entire length of our stay. It was so disgusting we chose not to eat breakfast there, which, by the way, was neither appetizing or well attended. Carts to help with luggage had broken/flat tires. Room was in dire need of upgrades. By far our worst experience at a Best Western Plus...and we've traveled across country three times using only Best Western Plus. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We are working it's me my husband and son we stay in many motels I am a choice and Whyndhan member but I started started staying in Best Western In Sikeston Missouri, and I absolutely love our stays It's so relaxing the employees are so very nice the breakfast is great they offer to make us coffee Even at night for us they are just very very nice We come in tired and dirty and they never bat an eye they treat us as royalty

Sikeston is about half-way between my winter home in Houston and summer home in the thumb of Michigan. The Best Western Plus is the best value of the hotels in Sikeston and offers good accommodations. Sikeston is also the last best place to eat and purchase gas before entering Illinois.

We stayed one night on a recent trip through Sikeston. Our room was quiet, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Best of all, the room was not subject to outside road noise. The breakfast was very good with an ample selection of hot and cold items! As well, there were no bugs. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Very helpful front desk worker, but rooms are in need of some major updating. The room smelled of smoke. The air conditioner did not work very well and never got down to the temperature we set. Halls smelled of Marijuana.

Front desk staff here is helpful and friendly. Clean rooms, well-lit parking, grassy space to walk the dog. Wifi was strong, nice breakfast, microwave and fridge in the room, big comfortable bed and good a/c.

The rooms were not clean (dirty floors, walls, broken tub, broken lamp shade) and there was a smell to the rooms. We asked to switch rooms after the first room was smelly and dirty and the front desk worker didn't seem surprised. Our 2nd room wasn't as dirty, but it had the broken tub and lamp shade.

Easy access from interstate. The room was clean but bathroom ceiling fan extremely noisy. The check in staff person was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was small and the food typical of chain motels.

Didn't enjoy my stay beds were hard lobby didn't have coffee most of the time. Poor breakfast choices. Did nothing about icy parking lot. Staff was not friendly at all when told about problems. I definitely won't stay here again.

Our stay was comfortable and represented good value. The staff was helpful and courteous. We had a small problem with the television. The concierge came to the room and addressed the problem. I had to leave before breakfast opened, and the concierge offered some breakfast items for our trip. That was thoughtful.

The hotel room staff were friendly and helpful. The room was in good condition and was most of all clean. The only downside was there was a residual smell to the room and we could not open the window to air it out. Breakfast was a limited selection due to covid.

Best hotel I stayed at on a 2,000 mile trip with my Jack Russell. The rooms was incredible, clean, roomy and convenient for walking my dog. Staff was excellent as well. Breakfast choice was varied and the area to eat was relaxing and perfect to start your day.

Very horrible customer services they over charged my card an that never got resolved a day after I check out my card was charged again at this hotel I will not be staying there again an it was not even worth the price

Had been on a business trip from Dallas to Lexington, Kentucky and back. Decided to go with Best Western Plus locations as the lower tier are still very iffy and very inconsistent. Check in was ok, gentleman at the front desk was accommodating but put us in a room right next to a gaggle of screaming kids, so right off the bat had to go down and ask for another room away from these screamers. HINT: NEVER put business people next to a family with screaming, unruly, undisciplined kids. So next room was ok, A/C was lame, bathroom towels were small and worn, AND I HATE the new tiny shampoo bottles that are hard as a rock and give you a thumbnail of shampoo. Is the 10 cents you save by providing these cheap worthless shampoo bottles REALLY worth a guest NEVER coming back again? Apparently so. The shower head would have been nice if there was any water pressure, probably had water restrictors in it to save on the water bill. Breakfast was all dry goods, nothing hot except coffee. I get tired of hotels cheapening services under the banner of Covid measures, because other Best Western Plus locations have a hot breakfast with real eggs and ham and other sides. I think some hotels use it as an excuse to cheapen the services they provide, all while increasing their prices. Also, the baggage carts need air in the tires, you put a few suitcases on the cart and the tires go flat and won't roll properly, but it this lack of attention to detail that differentiates one hotel from another. I'm not sure how this location is rated a "Plus" hotel, and there is nothing that distinguishes it from a run of the mill hotel. Cheapening everything does not make guests want to return.

We go to Sikeston a few times a year, we always stay at this Best Western. Very comfortable, clean, friendly environment right off the exit, yet you don't hear the traffic! The staff is always so helpful. Check in/out is super fast. Beds are comfy and pillows are nice! TV's are a little dated but not anything HORRIBLE. plenty of channels, none the less!

The outside door lock did not work so anyone could walk in. We had a rain storm and water started dripping quite rapidly into our room. There was mold around the bathroom fan. There was hair behind the bathroom door. The shower nozzle trickled and needs fixing. There was an odor to the room. If it had t been so late we would have left. On a positive note -The people at the front desk were very friendly. Avoid this hotel if possible

We made a last minute, late in the day reservation online and arrived about an hour later. We were quickly welcomed by "Bob" at the front desk, check in was quick and our room was ready. The room was nice, clean and all linens were fresh and we felt comfortable during our short, one night stay. We choose this property over one that would have give us a little driving relief sooner based on the reviews and were happy with our decision and the property.

Room was damp, musty and dark. Beds were very uncomfortable and seemed smaller than a queen. Would never stay in a Best Western of any type again. Air conditioner was blowing damp air. System itself was dirty.

Known to cater to motorcycle riders , nice clean comfortable rooms , Will always look for a Best Western Hotel every time we travel. Usually breakfast are available, the beds Pillows and bedding are clean

The is a very nice hotel. It is clean and seems newer. The rooms were very nice, clean, and quiet. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with hot offerings as well as fruit, yogurt, cereals, etc. It is close to the famous Lambert's restaurant and right off the highway. The internet works well. The workout facility is limited and the pool is indoors.

This hotel is so clean, quiet, and nice it is amazing. We will definately be staying here again. The people at the desk were great The room was very fresh and nice and breakfast was the way to start a long drive that day. Thank you Best Western Plus Sikeston for a great restful stay!

As others have noted, the hotel is well worn. However, my main concern is that the hotel is not following Best Western's "We Care Clean" program. Unnecessary items such as decorative pillows and bed scarves were not removed from the room and the front desk employee did not utilize PPE. Though states are reopening, we are still in a pandemic and Best Western still has cleaning standards prominently displayed on its website. This property would be rated marginally higher if they followed the plan put forth by Best Western to keep their guests and employees safe and healthy.

This is a very nice clean hotel enjoyed our stay. wonderful breakfast good service. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in. Very clean. The breakfast room was very nice with lots of choices the only complaint I had was the coffee was terribly strong

The room had ants in it, and when I reported it to the manager on duty I was belittled, disregarded, threatened, and called a liar. I would never recommended my worst enemy to stay here. One of the worst experiences I've ever had

We stayed in a king suite with a sleeper sofa. Thought it would be worth the extra money for additional comfort. The hotel and room appear rundown. They did not have breakfast as advertised. Sheets and towels were threadbare(tiny hole in sheets). Noisy fan on heating unit.

Clean but not comfortable. The sheets were like sandpiper, stool lid loose and ready to fall off, tub was old, TV broken, holes in towels.. Severe updates needed. Grab and go breakfast. Would not recommend.

I like staying in Best Westerns, because I have come to a certain expectation so when I booked this trip That was the expectation that I had, I try to book early and arrive early so I can get a 1st floor room, but I shrugged it off, when I didn't, then my room door didn't open, she moved us to another room, the room heater didn't work, you could tell it was Jerry rigged, so she turned it on from the front desk, Internet was spotty at best, and the breakfast in a bag was the last straw, I was confused about Quality.

Stopped here for the night, after making a reservation on my phone, and requested a gluten free breakfast. After getting into our room and settling in, I noticed a strange clicking noise coming from behind the television. It apparently was the black box attached for programming. I tried to turn it off, still clicking. I called the front desk and the clerk came to investigate. She could not figure it out either, so she put us in another room. In the second room the landline phone was blinking like it had a message on it. My husband and I both tried to erase the messages, but could not figure out how to do it. We unplugged the phone. So yeah--weird technology glitches that were going to keep us awake. Plus, the breakfast in the morning was simply sacked up, no choices given. Nothing but fruit, juices and coffee for gluten-free diets, even though I warned them in advance. The guy at the desk could not have cared less--"because of COVID, this is all we can offer". Yeah--the previous Best Western just the day before HAD provided food I could actually eat. So, beware if you have special dietary needs!

Terrible stay. The hotel and roommate a couple different smells. Half the place smelled like a dead mouse, the other smelled like pot. It was impossible to get a good nights sleep. Heat/ac did not work

Great place and let my neice and nephew stay and swim. Great location, nice lobby and staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay there next time I visit Sikeston. Had a pet room and it was clean and no pet odor

Nice place I found that lives up to my expectations of a hotel. Very reasonably priced. Had everything I needed. Comfy bed, clean and had a microwave and fridge. Staff was kind and helpful. It's hard to find nice hotels on the road but I'm glad I found this one. Will be returning in the future.

My wife and I took a birthday/fall foliage vacation to New England to see friends. We were in 16 states and drove almost 6000 miles. Of all the motels we stayed in we had the best breakfast here.The staff was very friendly and helpful.

If you're looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay this is for you! It definitely needs some repairs and updating. When I checked in my room smelled like smoke and marijuana so I was upgraded. This is not the Hilton or Marriott so if that is what you're used to keep on going. For me it was a sufficient place to sleep during an out of town job. I would not vacation with my family in this hotel.

Sikeston is my last place to stay and get a decent meal before and after crossing the kingdom of Illinois driving up to Michigan and back to Texas. The Best Western Plus is convenient, clean and a really good deal without any of the silly COVID restrictions imposed by the king of Illinois. Also a good place to catch a few throw'd rolls at Lambert's restaurant nearby.

Staff was friendly and caring. They all seemed to be genuinely interested in the guest staying there. Very clean and bed was very comfortable. Shower was great. Easy and plenty of parking. Will stay any time I'm in the area.

Picked because it was a Best Western Plus. And it was pet friendly. We were in room 123 which reeked of urine when we walked in. I resent people that take advantage of "pet-friendly" and let their animals urinate in their rooms! That being said, it needed to be cleaned. I sprayed with Lysol and turned down A/C. The grounds around hotel were unkempt, weeds, old shingles, trash, very unappealing. We were given a room on 1st floor right by back door so easy to take dog out. Problem was that door was never locked, even though it said it was! Anyone could just walk in. All over feeling was that hotel was in need of a good cleaning. In these times, I expected more! I wasn't sure where the "Plus" was?

We spent one night here. Check in was fine but the male clerk at the counter seemed indifferent, not the happiest person. We had a room on the main floor. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower were fine. Nice flat screen TV with several choices, no complaints in the room. Upon checking out we received a to go bag for breakfast during the COVID-19 crisis. It consisted of an orange, fruit bar, water and a danish. The woman at the checkout was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place if you're looking to spend the night in the area.

We normally seek out Best Westerns when travelling because we can expect a high quality stay.However, this stay was a disappointment. While I understand that a full breakfast can not be served due to Covid-19 concerns, advertising on the Web site needs to be updated to reflect such. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly but they had to be because our key cards stopped working three times during our two day stay and our remote for the TV had to be replaced because it did not work. Overall, a good stay but no frills and not what we are used to when visiting a Best Western Hotel. The ice maker was also struggling to keep up?

Due to the pandemic, our vacations had been cancelled. We needed a week-end away, so headed to Sikeston to eat at Lamberts. We usually stay at this Best Western. Have always been greeted with smiles and helpfulness. The hotel could use a little updating, though the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Quiet hotel. They had a great way to serve breakfast with bagged snacks to go. Quiet hotel.

The room had a horrible smell as we walked in, like a musty smell. Then of course there were two dogs in the room across the hall barking up for the longest time. This will not be a place that I will ever stay again. Some of the Best Western Hotels are going down hill..I'm sure is the ones with poor management. They choose to allow pets and I choose another hotel in the future. Too many allergies to sleep next to a bunch of dogs or who knows what else.

Have been staying a couple times each year at this hotel. We're snowbirds traveling with our little dog. Best Western is one of the most pet friendly Chains and overall the amenities are great too. Breakfast is usually great but due to Covid19 we were given a bagged option instead. Friendly staff.

Convenient Location for Traveling Interstate 55, Quiet Room for Good Nights Rest. I travel the Midwest and do not always know that Best Western Plus will provide a quality Room at a reasonable price. Best Western is on my preferred list of Hotels when traveling for business.

Room was clean. Check-in and check-out was quick. Bathroom lights were bright, you could actually put make-up on and see what you were doing. Breakfast was fine. Eggs could have been a little hotter, but they were cooked thoroughly.

Well appointed room. Clean, spacious and priced right. Comfortable bed, MW, fridge and HDTV. Well-lit parking and typical hot Best Western breakfast. Willis was very helpful and courteous at check-in.

Super clean super friendly staff if we are ever at this location we will most definitely be staying here. Couldn't have asked for anything any better. I would definitely recommend this place to others

Great location, a gas station at the corner of the hotel, a Walmart 6 min away, a few restaurants near by, and small shopping center, good breakfast in the mornings, great staff and service, they make sure everything is clean, I'll defenetly stay again at this hotel

Very clean room. Nice internet and more pillows than we knew what to do with. Watched the Clemson game and it rained. Decent water pressure and the toilet always flushed. Very helpful staff on checkout and checkin.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, in good working order and a very good value. We've been looking for a good stopping place on our route from home to our family near Chicago and this hotel meets our need very well.

Our stay was fine except the odor from a cleaning or air freshener product gave my wife an instant headache. After opening the window for a few hours most of the odor was gone. It seemed to be worse when the heat was on. But other than that everything was good and we slept fine.

This was a very nice place. All the workers were very nice and kind. Their rooms were very cleaned and smelled very nice.Bed was so soft and comfy. I chose this hotel because I was visiting the Dexter, MO area and had been advised the hotels in that area were not the best. This hotel was a bit farther out than another hotel in Sikeston. It had a comfortable bed and was clean. I thought the pictures on the website made it look nicer than it did in person. However, I would most likely stay here again.

Best Western Sikeston has always been a favorite when I'm Indiana bound. This trip exceeded my expectations. From dealing with them on the phone to actual visit, I felt like a welcomed and valued guest. My personal needs had changed since my last visit @ 3 years ago. Everyone “stepped up to the plate” in addressing them.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. All of the workers here interact with the guest make sure everything was ok. The actually greet you when you are coming and going. Very nice and polite there rooms are so cozy and very clean you can tell as soon as you hit the door. The bathrooms and very clean and everything is so perfect as in how things are set up. Breakfast was good had a lot of variety of things to choose from. If I had to say myself I would recommend for people to stay here at the BEST WESTERN PLUS if you are traveling through the Sikeston mo area. Thanks to all the staff here keep up the great work guys you can tell they all take pride in their job!!!!!!

This was an amazing place to stay I really loved it. They are really nice and caring staff. The breakfast was great and the breakfast lady made sure that everything was ok. Front desk receptionist's were nice upon check in and check out. Their rooms were very nice I loved the space of the rooms you have a lot of room to move around. They are very nice and clean and the bathrooms were very nice and clean. Everything was so organized in the rooms it was great!!! I want to say keep up the good job you guys are doing fantastic

I would like to say this is a very nice and clean hotel.Rooms were very spacious,nice,and really clean. Bathrooms were also very clean.Breakfast was great. All the staff were were very helpful. I really like the hospitality that they have.

The bed skirt had dried puke on it and it smelled really bad. The little table in the bathroom that held towels was so dusty that I wrote clean me in it. I reported both problems to the manager upon checkout and his response was, ok I'll make a note if it. No real apology or no real effort to make things better.

The staff at this hotel was very helpful and courteous to me entering the hotel as well as the duration of my stay. I love this place! And the value was phenomenal. The hotel was not far from the meeting site I attended everyday. It was also near many restaurants and stores.

We stayed here 2 years ago & had a great experience, so we booked a reservation again on our way through Missouri. This hotel is no longer deserving of a Best Western Plus rating. It is tired & run down. Room was clean, but in need of updating. Little things like cracked lampshades, stains on sofa cushions, scratched furniture, bathroom walls that need patching & painting, give the overall feeling of neglect. Breakfast was very nice & was attended by friendly helpful staff. Overall, the hotel is average - could be so much nicer with a little TLC.

Looks like they tried updating with paint and it wasn't very successful. The rooms show wear and patches but there were clean. Price was too high for the appearance and age. Cigarette butts littered the exterior.

Nice hotel. Rooms are pretty good size. Enjoyed the quiet. Only thing that is still an issue is the curtains that fly over the air conditioner unit when the a/c is on. Still had to tuck the curtains into the window just to have the cool air blow into the room. Would be nice if they would fix that.

First of all, my company reserved this hotel. I called in advance to ask if the use of synthetic fragrance could be mediated with housekeeping. They were VERY nice over the phone. However, when I arrived on site, I could hardly stand in the lobby the fragrance was so strong. The hotel is listed as non-smoking, but there are undoubtedly smoke smells in the building and they may be trying to cover them up with harsher deodorizers and/or fragrance. Regardless, the room was pretty strong as well. The linens were actually o.k. It was over 90 degrees when I arrived, but I ended up leaving the window open for several hours. This helped some. A co-worker of mine had issues with her room for cleanliness and actually requested to move hotels. I don't fault the on-site staff as much as I think corporate should set a better standard. Indoor air quality is significant to our health and should be prioritized by this company from corporate on down to the site level.

The hotel is very nice and clean. We enjoyed are stay. But when my wife and I checked in the host at the desk a African American smelled of marijuana. Both me and my wife smelled it. Just want management to know

We happened to be passing through the area and needed a place to stay. Great online rates at BestWestern.com. The bed was very comfortable, tv was pretty good, showerhead could use a soaking in CLR but was good, Breakfast that next morning was great with lots of choices. Would stay here again if passing through the area

I do not understand the high ratings for this hotel. The room smelled very musty. Overall, the cleanliness was terrible. The bathroom looked to have smeared blood on the floor and one of the beds had a spot of blood and dirt on the duvet, underneath the sheet that went over the top of it (see photo). Yuck! The main room looked nice, but the bathroom needs a serious renovation. The woman working the breakfast area was the only exception to the disappointment. She was working very hard to keep everything refreshed and was very nice when my son spilled cereal and milk all over the counter.

Check-in was problem free. Desk clerk was friendly. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, towels were not worn out and the bed slept well. Breakfast has enough protein to keep my blood sugar happy. Yes, I'd stay here again.

Nothing special. had 3 rooms over 4 days. Decent looking brick exterior. Beds were comfortable. Broken tv remotes in rooms. Old 80s looking carpet. Never offered anything for being rewards member again.

Overall terrible hotel. The manager was rude and rooms nasty. The breakfast was ok. The worker working breakfast was amazing. Ahe deserves a raise. Exspecially the way she was talked to by the managwr and little indian lady..

Willis at the front desk was helpful on the phone and even nicer in person, placing us in the "just right" room. My husband wears a leg brace and every step matters, so we especially appreciated his thoughtfulness. Room was spacious & spotless with fridge/micro and flat screen TV. Slept well on super comfortable beds with lots of fat, fluffy pillows. A/C did great job of keeping the room cooled off. Even though we were only a few hours from home, we were glad we stopped here for the night and left out refreshed in the morning. Didn't partake of the standard continental other than coffee, but it appeared to be well tended. The only thing we noticed was front desk personnel smoking out front, although she quickly put out her cigarette to print off our receipt. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in king room which had lots of space and comfortable bed. Breakfast included was ok. Nothing special but they had waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy on hot bar. Staff was very friendly.

The Best Western Plus, Sikeston, MO was very conveniently located to all of my destinations in SE MO. It had very easy access to the main interstate, but was still quiet. The room was a nice size, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and available if needed.

I work for a bus tour service and I was in town to pick up some guests for a bus tour leaving out the next morning. I chose Best Western because I love the rooms and the service I get when I am there. This hotel did not fail me either. Very nice rooms, the lobby was great. Staff was helpful. I did injure myself during my stay and need band-aids and Willis I believe was this name, helped me with that. When making my reseravation, I requested a room close to an exit door and my request was granted. If I am ever in Sikeston again, whether it is for business or personal reasons, I will be staying at this hotel. Great job!!!

Convenient to interstate and food. Easy on and off compared to bigger towns with busier intersections with all the things nearby that you need. Lambert's restaurant known for family dining at reasonable prices with "thrower rolls" was a half mile away.

Computer problems upon check-in but Willis was all smiles and made it an enjoyable experience. Nice,clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast in roomy area to start the day. Friendly staff and the free bottled water was a pleasant surprise.

I had to make an emergency driving trip from Texas to Indiana. I stopped here after being on the road for over eight hours. It is an older property but it was clean the woman working the front desk was very helpful and nice I was only there about five hours but it served my needs well.

We were driving from Illinois to Texas and needed a hotel and this hotel was a good value and clean rooms. The sheet had a large tear but we were too tired o worry about it. The breakfast was average but the eggs were a little dry. It would've been nice to have English breakfast tea but I did have my own so no big deal. We booked online as the night cl rt said I couldn't get the deal. Check out, I just turned in the room key and the clerk gave me a receipt so it was quick. Oh, the bed was way too firm for me or my husband and he prefers a firm bed. Overall, it was a really good choice and we're making this trip again in September so Sikeston May be a stop for us again.

I booked this particular hotel because I'm a rewards member and it looked good online while we were driving and looking for a night's stay. I had a bit of difficulty understanding the website at first on my mobile, but was happy with the result. We ate at Ruby Tuesday, then checked in at 8 pm. Willis fixes my issues (booked a king meant to have a double queen-that website issue) and made it happen even though he didn't have to, according to the rules. I had a lovely room with comfortable beds and pillows, and a large clean bathroom. There is a mini fridge and microwave. The room was quiet and we slept well. The free breakfast was extensive (waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, oatmeal, and cereal, muffins and fresh fruit) and we left full of that goodness. The dining room was kept clean and replenished by a nice crew who made sure to ask if we had all we needed. We grabbed a free water, filled our coffee cups and checked out with the front desk. Another nice interaction with the staff. I appreciated the ease of the evenings stay. Thanks to all the staff, cleaning included, for the caring and concern for your guests! It shows off your company in a good light.

After the reading the reviews, I thought it would be good, but not so much. It's listed as a Plus but I think Best Western must not have high standards to add the Plus. Yes, it was clean & the beds were new, which are the reason I rated the 2 instead of 1. They just put new beds & drapes, painted the walls & called it Plus. The desk in our room needed repair, it was not able to support much weight cause the leg was broke. The hair dryer blew up on me after just drying my bangs. The girl at the front desk had to get one from another room & didn't act shocked or apologize. There was so little water pressure that it took forever to wash my hair! Then the worst thing of all, the side doors don't lock!! There is a place to use your room key to get in but the door won't lock. I asked the night desk man about it & he said they lock later at night. He said they leave them unlocked because people forget their keys all the time. For safety purposes, that's crazy. But we found that it never locked & it was because the lock was broke!! Then I found out why the problems exist, I met the man in charge. I asked the very nice lady working the kitchen if the gravy had dairy & she had to ask him if it did. He said he didn't know & you could tell he didn't care. He just told her to check the can that it comes in. Then he came over to look also & never said a word. She apologized & was very friendly. Our well being was none of his concern. The nice couple I saw cleaning the rooms could have easily been his parents. They obviously care more about the hotel than he does. The place is definitely clean.

Hotel was nice and very clean. My room was very quiet. I would stay here again. The bed was comfortable. We didn't have any problems staying here. So, if you are looking for a great place to stay, this is the hotel.

The AC unit in our room was not working properly. We couldn't tell this initially as the unit kicked on and cooled the room. However, in the middle of the night, we woke up sweating. I turned the unit down as low as it would go. It kicked on briefly, but that was it. No sleep the remainder of the night. Upon checking out, we were told that we were the 3rd guests to report the same issue. We received an apology, but that was it. Verify that this problem has been fixed BEFORE you check into this hotel. Everything else was just fine.

Stopped in here on the way home.. the young man at the front desk was great getting us the best rate and checking us in, the room was a nice size.. the bathroom was decent size.. I just wish there was a way to turn on the bathroom light and not have the fan running.. The room was clean and comfortable.. the breakfast was very good.. and felt very safe here..

Newly decorated, super clean, good bed and pillows. Excellent hot breakfast. Friendly staff, and Rachel who does the breakfast was friendly and did a great job having everything ready at 6am. I highly recommend!

We were driving home at the end of a 10-day road trip with 2 teenagers. We drove 2 hours from Memphis to get a head start on the next day's driving and chose this hotel. It was clean, easy to find, and reasonably priced. We felt safe enough to leave most of our items in the car overnight since we were checking in around 10pm and leaving by 6:30am the next morning and didn't want to haul everything in and out of the hotel. Check in was easy and quick. They did provide free breakfast but we didn't eat prior to checking out but grabbed coffee, hot tea and an apple juice to go. It was a comfortable place to stay and we would stay there again if back in the area.

My wife chose this hotel based off of the customer reviews. It did not disappoint. Clean, modern, easy access from highway. Rooms very clean and nice toiletries in the bathroom. Very good variety for breakfast. Good price for room. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel, though old and a bit dated, was nice. The room was clean, the free breakfast was really good, the bed was comfortable, and the staff friendly. The parking was good and there is an indoor pool.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Check in was efficient. Room was clean and well presented. There was a nice selection for breakfast. The downtown of Sikeston could be a very nice place. Unfortunately there are a lot of empty store fronts. The rodeo must be the big thing to do in this area.

Stayed here on 2/27/19 and found, in the morning, that the desk area of the room had been taken over by ants. Disgusting!! Luckily we had only brought in one small overnight bag. Won't stay here again

This hotel is a great example of hospitality. It is run like a well-oiled machine. All employees were courteous and helpful. I hope to return soon. I will tell my friends and family who enjoy traveling as much as my husband and I.

This Best Western was clean and the staff was very nice. I reserved a queen room with points and they upgraded us to a King room which was more convenient for our family. They offered us free waters and also free goodies from the snack shop. Breakfast only goes until 9 on weekdays. Great location close to fast food and shopping.

My husband and I recently stayed at this Best Western and were very pleased with our room. The room had a very comfortable king bed and we had a walk in shower. The breakfast was ok ( the scrambled eggs weren't done enough) but the coffee was good and the front desk personnel were good. I would definitely recommend staying here

Kudos to Best Western Plus. Our king room was large, clean, and comfortable. The room decor and color scheme was soothing to our travel weary bodies. The black out curtains were great. The bed was perfect. Adequate water pressure in the shower and nice thick towels. At check in I asked for a room easily accessible to some grass to make it easier to walk our dogs. The clerk gave us a first floor room near the back entrance, which was perfect. The dog walking area was clean with a strategic trash can to encourage picking up pet waste. There is a $15 pet fee. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only problem was some noise from the room over ours. Someone with very active children must have checked in after us. We heard lots of running and stomping/jumping for a couple of hours. Luckily it quit around 9 pm. Not the motel's fault, and you can't blame the parents for letting kids play and burn up some energy! We didn't have time for breakfast, but it looked like typical motel fare. The coffee was rather weak. There was complimentary bottles of water in the lobby.

The staff makes this hotel a jewel. I am an early riser and exercise every day. This hotel has exercise room, pool and free breakfast. Breakfast was even out early. Coffee was good. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful. I used points for this stay, but the normal cost was very reasonable.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice hot breakfast, hot pool, clean and comfortable rooms. Hi speed was fast and service was great. We will see you all again on our way back. We thank you all for a wonderful stay. Merry Christmas..

Very convenient location, easy on/off the highway. Gas station is close by. Free parking with the lot well lit. Rooms are very clean albeit a bit spartan. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was the basic buffet but coffee was good. What was a real nice touch was a voucher for alcoholic drinks when we arrived. The choices were limited but the beer was from a keg and nice and cold. Chips and pretzels were also available on arrival

Stopped in earlier this month. We were warmly welcomed. Decent place, nice employees and we slept well. The breakfast here is a cut above most similar motels......the food actually tasted great. Not a lot of good eating choices in the area if you arrive later in the evening. We found that out.

Harry Maisuria, the General Manager, was very friendly and very accommodating. The check-in person, Willis, was very friendly and efficient. Harry Maisuria went out of his way to make sure that the guests were served a hot breakfast even when his assigned employee did not show up for work. He definitely made an impression on us and is a credit to the Best Western hotel chain. A great night sleep for an excellent price! We were extremely satisfied and we will keep using this hotel.

As leisure travelers, we spend between 60-70 nights annually in Best Western hotels around the US, so have a wealth of experience by which to make our assessment. In all that travel, this property ranks at the very top in all categories, especially the most important one: customer service. Yes, it is a "Plus" property, so certain expectations exist, but this property is at the top among that category. The staff is outstanding and looked to assure our comfort and satisfaction at every turn. The property is conveniently located near the interstate exit with shopping and restaurants closeby. Rooms are spacious and quiet with plenty of hot water and drains that work as designed-- no ankle-deep water in the shower from a clogged drain ! Breakfast is very good with hot and cold offerings and an expected variety. The breakfast seating area is adequate, bright and comfortable. Prices are reasonable and this property provides good value. The highest recommendation anyone can give is to say that they'd stay there again...and I would without any hesitation. Give it a try.

We stayed here overnight on our way home from Florida. The room was surprisingly nice for a hotel located away from any major attractions. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Heads up: Coffee was weak, and no good coffee shop nearby.

The staff was so helpful at checkin and gave us a 1st floor room since we had a dog and I have knee problems. Very dog friendly place. The pool was so nice and the breakfast was great and the breakfast attendant was so helpful. Will stay here again if we com this way again.

Overnight stay was pleasant, outside picnic table was nice. Gave us a chance to relax outside under a shade tree . Breakfast items were about the same with the addition of bacon and hard boiled eggs, nice change. Rooms were clean and beds comfy.

Old and run down, misty smelling room. Called desk about cable not working and was told to check if everything plugged in. I couldn't see behind the furniture tv was on and it was too heavy for me to pull out. Called back and was told someone would come to room to check things and no one ever came to help. The microwave smelled like it was about to catch on fire when using it. I stopped it and when I opened door it was as got inside as a regular oven and outside was hot to the touch. Hazerdous! Plus, some creepy people hanging around outside which is right behind a seedy Motel 6. My first and last stay at Best Western. And price is maybe just $10 less per night than the much better hotels down the street.

We enjoyed the accommodating room and the friendly staff. We appreciated the breakfast we were provided and enjoyed the coffee. It was a clean place to lay our weary heads on a long trip. The shower felt nice and plenty of towels. I posted 'not sure' to things that did not apply to me or that I would not have sought out on this visit.

The room was large and very clean. It was noticeably quiet as well. There was a half-size refrigerator and a microwave. The breakfast buffet was better than one usually finds in these chain hotels. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Hotel was average. There was a wet smell in the room that didn't help me relax. The outside door didn't lock. A stronger emphasis on Customer service and services offered could merit improvement. The staff didn't take ownership for any problems or errors but emphasized what they could not do.

Our family stayed here for one night, and would not recommend it. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the whole place smelled musty. While the room was standard sized and the price was reasonable, the carpet was stained and the walls were dirty. Our kids swam in the pool, but they kept saying how gross it was. It didn't smell like there was chlorine in it and dirt in a lot of places. Would not come back,

Not a good experience. I really expect more from a Best Western Plus. 1. Our TV didn't work upon check in. It took two visits and about 30 minutes to get the batteries in the remote replaced. 2. There was a dark liquid resembling coffee running down the wall in the room. 3. No towels in pool area. When asked, we were given 3 for our group of 4, but the towels were not restocked. 4. The pool area was very dirty with dead bugs and wads of hair on the deck and in the water.

The air was out, I think, in most of the hotel but the room air worked fantastic! Nice, clean hotel. Staff that we encountered were very helpful and polite. We had stayed at another hotel when we went to Sikeston a couple of years ago and it was not very clean. This one met my expectations and more.

Nicely appointed rooms, clean, friendly service, and good breakfast. Our room was 'off' the highway and very quiet. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy. We paid $90 for 2 queens, which wasn't bad.

Only reason for 3-star review is that the wrong time for breakfast is posted on the sign and in the rooms, and is given out by front desk. Otherwise the hotel is clean and quiet, people friendly. We went down at 9:15, was told there would be no more eggs made, as the bfast closed at 9:30 (said to us while standing in front of the sign that says 10). Bfast worker did go ahead and make more eggs and sausage, but acted as if she was doing us a big favor. No, she was fulfilling what the hotel says on the sign, in the rooms, and at the front desk. If you're closing the bfast at 9:30, change your postings and instruct your staff. Other than that, the stay was great.

Willis greeted us very warmly. He spoke clearly and slowly enuf for an old guy to understand every word. He interacted and didn't sound like a recorded script. He showed us how the inn had honored our special request. There is a day man at the desk now. Dear wife didn't catch her name. He treated her very kindly when she walked down with a minor request. And last but not least, Mickey was running a great breakfast buffet operation. Biscuit gravy was hot and loaded with sausage. The waffle iron was up and humming and everything was clean and inviting. Really fine people at this inn. Generally, the inn itself was very inviting. The paint on the walls, both in the corridors and rooms looked freshly and nicely done. Our king bed and linens were just fine. Bigger than average fridge was nice. As others have mentioned there are some elements that could use some replacement and I'm sure that given all the other signs of freshness that the management is working through a priority list. I guess my #1 priority would be to replace the individual room HVAC units with something quieter and with a wall-mounted thermostat. Maybe my #2 would be to replace the carpet in the corridors and breakfast area. Always something I know, but I stand by my 5* rating.

From the moment we walked in the door we were met by smiling people. Everyone, and I mean every employee there was friendly, smiling and eager to assist. The rooms were large and comfortable. Very clean and fresh. We will go back again!

We stayed for two nights in May while visiting the area. We often stay at Best Western properties so have a good idea about the different levels of quality one should expect for the price paid. Overall, for a Plus rated establishment this one didn't meet the mark. The room was clean and spacious, but we could not get the air conditioning unit to function correctly, alternating between freezing cold and muggy hot. We couldn't open our window as our room faced the parking lot and the table where employees and guests would gather to smoke cigarettes and talk. When we had breakfast the first morning, we were greeted with the standard fare and when we sat down to eat the scrambled eggs and sausage, found both inedible due to over-salting. They made your hair curl. The second morning we abandoned the free breakfast and drove a couple of blocks away to the friend pie shop for a much more satisfying meal.

We only spent one night here on our way to somewhere else, but I can tell you that the room was clean and modern. It had a king bed and a sofa bed and felt very large. It definitely didn't feel cramped at all like most hotel rooms.

Looking for a reasonable priced place to stay, well here it is. They take CLC card which is a corporate lodging card. A lot of hotels put you in run down rooms when using these cards, but this place did not ! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Close to great food and shopping. Highly recommend staying here..............You won't be sorry !

The hotel staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean . The pool was nice and heated would recoommend bring a towl down to the pool area because they were out of towels in the pool area everytime we went to the pool. Breakfast was good but it did go fast you had to get down there early if you didnt want to miss anything. .

We have stayed here before without any problems. Room is ok with standard stuff and breakfast bar offers great choices. However, this trip we found the room to be not as clean. Walked around in white socks and bottoms were filthy from carpet. Went down to breakfast and key would not let us back in room. After 2 trips to front desk and then maintenance taking apart lock, we finally got in to retrieve our stuff so we could leave! Doubt we will return here.

Took a chance after reading reviews on line......was not disappointed....would definitively stay again.... bed was comfortable making for a restful night and was not disappointed at breakfast.....gluten free was available. Couldn't have done better....Thanks.....

This Best Western has the best staff in the whole world! Every single person was friendly and WANTING to be helpful in some way! Check-in took less than 30 seconds. The clerk had everything ready and handed us our keys.

During a spur-of-the moment trip, this hotel was the best choice we found between Sikeston and Poplar Bluff, MO. We arrived late in the evening after having made reservations earlier in our trip. It was perfect......we were very impressed with this location!

The hotel was cool and the staff were GREAT in trying to accommodate BUT...let me tell you...if you have children please request a room on the bottom floor and away from those of us wanting a peaceful evening and some SLEEP...the room above us must have had 5,000 children jumping for hours!!! I went to the front desk, they did not have another KING available but said she would ask them to quiet down...called the front desk a little while later, they said they would take care of it, now its going on 11pm and still the amusement park above our heads is in full force...called the front desk yet AGAIN..they would take care of it...nothing changed...ended up going to the front desk...now its almost midnight...they finally moved the jumpers to another room probably to continue over someone else's head. Needless to say, an entire night of this, I could have slept in the car and kept my money!!! OH...and there was a shirt hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we checked into the room..but looking at the room it appeared to be very clean so I'm assuming it was left by the cleaning crew..I had them come retrieve it.

Though the exterior of the building is inviting and the lobby is attractive, the moment after one has checked in and takes the elevator, they learn that maintaining the beauty of the interior is a very low priority for this establishment. After mentioning this fact in an online survey I received a series of unprofessional emails from the manager. A bad experience overall.

I had a very good experience staying at Best Western Plus. No complaints. Very comfortable and cozy rooms. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and the hot breakfast. I will definitely stay at this Best Western Plus again!

We love staying at BWs for their great value, friendly and helpful staff, and comfort while away from home. This hotel was no different. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, everyone was nice. We get great value plus we are able to use our AAA card for a discount as well.

This is the second time staying at this hotel. The staff and rooms are fantastic! Staff was eager to help wherever they could. Was close to multiple job sites in the area and was close for some great food!

Arrived after 6 without reservation, good front desk service. Though close to the Interstate this was a quiet location so good night's sleep. Not too far to go for restaurant service but not in walking distance so did use car to get to restaurant.

The hotel is easily accessible to the interstate. The staff was personable and helpful, but housekeeping leaves something to be desired. There was an open can of pop in the refrigerator. There was significant dust on the stand in the bathroom. The bathroom could use a hook to hang clothes on. The room was not inviting had an almost sterile feel even though it was not that clean. The hot food on the breakfast buffet was lukewarm at best. Food selection was fair.

Best breakfast buffet of any motel we've ever stayed at. Really comfortable beds. Their cable tv provider (Spectrum) left something to be desired. Had to call for assistance twice. Because we are Rewards guests, we were given snacks, bottled water. Clean!

The Best Western Plus Hotel in Sikeston, Missouri is a great place to spend the night. The price is average, but the staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice and the complimentary breakfast is delicious!

We have stayed here several times and have always had a great experience. Friendly people, clean facility and quiet surroundings. Convenient to get to and great dining available a short distance from the hotel.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels some good and some really crappy ones, this one cost $100.00 plus tax during the middle of the week. I've stayed in some very nice beatwestern plus's for 30.00 less and was a lot nicer. It's not really dirty or bad it's just not what they think it is.

Decided to break up a trip from Chicago and stayed here. The price f the rooms was great. Beds and pillows were fantastic. All of the staff was fantastic. Themorning free breakfast was really good with a selection foreveryone

I was extremely surprised to find such a nice hotel in that area. It is so much nicer than many I've stayed at. Very clean. Would have been great if I was staying longer, then I could have taken advantage of the amenities.

When traveling from Michigan to Texas and back, we have stayed at a few different hotels in Sikeston hoping to find a winner. This Best Western is not it. The beds are rock hard - too firm for me - and the pillows are lumpy. The breakfast buffet is okay - scrambled eggs, sausage patty, along with waffle maker, bagels and small yogurt cups. The room was clean. Decor is a strange mix in the public areas. The price was reasonable but I just didn't sleep well. Seems like they are trying to update but some work has yet to be finished. But old bathroom tiles and fixtures need to be replaced at some point.

As a repeat guest at this BW hotel shows our satisfaction with our stay. Great location off I-55 interstate with close by dining in this small town setting makes for a worry free stay. Great pet friendly hotel.

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel and staff. Very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great. Our room was spacious and clean and the pool was warm. Best part was it's pet friendly so our boxer baby got to come!

I believe that the rate while not unreasonable, could have been less as I was traveling on business which will bring me back to this area frequently. It would have been nice if I had been informed prior to check in that this property allows animals in the rooms. I only found out as I was leaving and met an owner whose dog who attempted to urinate in the hall. In all fairness, the owner was trying to get the animal outside.

A quick stop over and the people at this hotel were friendly and helpful. I would stop at this hotel again when in the area. The over all feel of my stay was restful and the staff was very pleasant and upbeat.

Since we usually travel with pets, we have not stayed at a Best Western for a while. This was a great stay. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Oh and did I say the staff were great. Would definitely stay again if we are not travelling with our pets.

Room was very clean and spacious and well kept. Great carpeting, linens ETC. Breakfast choices were many and plentiful. Wifi was good. The entire hotel was well maintained and clean as could be. Housekeeping staff are well trained.

Even though this hotel is on an I-55 frontage road, it was quiet inside. Rooms were nice and clean with a very comfortable bed. It was a good value overall. TV selection was good and wi-fi worked very well..

We had a nice large room, a comfortable bed, internet, a great selection of food at breakfast, a nice pool, easy access to the interstate, and a great rate. The staff was very helpful, friendly, & informative when asking for more items & asking about activities in the city. Plenty of amenities at this hotel. Love the breakfast, the room space, the comfort bed, & the fitness center & indoor pool.

This hotel was a good stop for our vacation trip. We got there late and left early. The bed was nice and comfy. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. The internet was a bit slow, but we didn't spend too much time online anyway.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Rooms were great, bed was comfy and the room was clean. TV came in great! Slept well. Breakfast was pretty typical but the juice at the bar was better than most hotels.

We checked in around 11pm at night with a reservation for king bed. Upon entering our room found the room overwhelmingly smelt of old smelly shoes, for lack of any other way to describe. We went to the desk and told them. The agent was quick to ask if we wanted another room, which we said we did. Unfortunately there were no king size bed rooms available, only queen. With no other offer such as discounted room, or change room in the morning, we asked for room spray, which agent could not find any. We went back and opened window and turned air on high, which helped enough for us to sleep. The next day we asked again about the smell and the agent stated only that housekeeping would come down and spray the room, which never happened. I am disappointed with the customer service shown to us during this 2 night stay.q

Nice rooms and good breakfast. I would recommend staying there. Water bottles in rooms along with other nice things like shower cap. Enjoyed our stay. Only thing I didn't like were pillows were too puffy for me and couldn't find one not so fat.

What a beautiful place to stay...were contacted about 45 minutes after we left and told that a billfold was found in our room....it was my husbands and we returned immediately to get it....what great honest people !!!! We were so glad we had not traveled any further down the road before we were contacted....it was only 45 miles away !!! Super people there at the front desk and of course the room attendant who was so honest and returned the billfold to the desk immediately...highly recommend this location

The location was great for our trip and enjoyed going to Lamberts restaurant. Unit was very comfortable and staff was very helpful. We generally stay at Best Western if available when we travel. Breakfasts is always good to get the day started.

We were just passing through on a business trip in an RV and needed somewhere easy to stop to get some rest before finishing our trip home. This was a good place for us. The staff was friendly on check in. We were able to park conveniently to the door close to our room which was a plus for a tired crew.

Great clean rooms with comfy beds. Friendly staff at the reception and good breakfast. The WiFi is up to a good standard and There's free parking. We only stayed for one night and I would recommend Herbert's cafe for dinner.

Very clean room and comfortable beds. If those are your top criteria for a hotel (they are mine), you should do OK here. Unfortunately, my particular room (208) had an overgrown tree outside the window and its branches banged into the window all night due to high wind. Just unlucky I guess. The breakfast attendant removed all breakfast items 10 minutes before the posted closing time. She declined to provide more hot food and even locked the dairy items and removed the cereal before some guests had a chance to eat. Told me "it's 3 minutes til 10:00 and that means breakfast is over." The lack of hospitality was frustrating.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus, Sikeston, Mo in October. The room was updated and clean, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and very professional. We would recommend this BW Plus to friends.

My family just stayed here for one night. For the price, it was a great value. The room was clean, wifi worked better than at most hotels, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was one of the better free hotel breakfasts that we have had.

Stay was one night only. Room as expected. No significant interaction with staff. A couple who appeared in the breakfast room gave a bad impression for the hotel. She in pjs and barefoot, he in robe, no long pants, and house shoes. They were in and out, each time going outside to sit next to the front door smoking, still in same attire. I don't think this image is good for any hotel.

Located right off the interstate hiway. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful --- check in was a breeze. Room was clean and quiet. Internet worked great. Bed was very comfortable. Lambert's restaurant was just about 2 minutes away. Only issue was getting back on the main street --- no stop light --- very busy street.

Conveniently located just off the highway. This was a quality hotel experience. Room decor, cleanliness, breakfast, and staff were all excellent. Our family had 4 rooms, with children, and we could not have been more pleased with this overnight stay. It met our expectations for a one-night stop over on a long road trip.

The check in was great, had a little trouble with room, staff bent over backwards to make it right. Very professional people, took care of our every need. 2 ND time staying here and most definitely will stay again. Thank you for a very pleasurable stay.

Hotel was great, but if you have want to use your points, make sure they use them and add the points for staying. They told us they would use our point and get double points (they are running a special right now) and we haven't received anything and our points wasn't used.

Amazing experience from a wonderful staff... Above and beyond what I expected, especially for the price we paid. Sikeston is a small town that closes up pretty early, but it was worth it for us on our way back home from a long weekend. A quick stopover and close enough to Cape if you wanted to drive in.

I am a big fan of BW hotels. Seldom am I disappointed. The Siketon BW is a good location, quite and dog friendly. The rooms are not huge, but well appointed. I pre-paid and got a great rate. I did not notice any rooms that were any different except the pool is on the first floor and chlorine smells in the hallway. I would move to the other end og the building. Breakfast was as expected with eggs, sausage and waffles.

We stayed here one night in August. Check in process was easy and the front desk employee was very helpful. Our room was very clean, had a small refrigerator and internet was available. Breakfast the next morning was very good. The employee handling the breakfast was very friendly and kept the breakfast area spotless. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent staff. Easy check in and out. Clean and well maintained. Very fair price. Bottled water in room. Can usually depend on Best Western to be consistently good quality. We've been on the road for 2 weeks. Best breakfast yet!!!

This hotel is exactly the kind I like. A good value with friendly service. Every hotel employee I met was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was good. The location is good as well, and the parking lot well lit.

Over all view of Hotel was nice and I really liked the Breakfast and lady over it on the morning 5/6/2017. She provided great Customer service, and presentation was beautiful. I cant remember lady's name at front desk ,but she worked the morning of 5/6/17 and helped us when television cable was out...still no services when we left ,but at least she tried to help.

We travel with a 20' trailer and usually check out the parking area on Google but for some reason we did not this time. The front desk staff came out to the parking lot and showed us a great place to park!

The first room we got, was a little damp and smelled a little. Told the staff and they gave us a new room without hesitation. The new one didn't have the same problems at all. Large clean rooms, a really nice bed and good breakfast. We would stay here again!

When I checked in, the reception clerk asked if we would eat out. I responded that we wanted to have a picnic in a park and asked where I could find one. Then my five-year-old daughter walked in and she understood why I wanted to find a park. She gave us a map and directed us to a park that we probably never would have found on our own. Our daughter was delighted. Our room was clean and comfortable with very good beds. The bathroom fixtures, the appliances, and the wifi all worked well. I did not see an elevator but we were on the ground floor, so that worked out for us. Breakfast was as good as any hotel breakfast and better than most. We did not have time to use the pool. All in all it was a very good stay and a very good value.

This hotel has always provided us with the best of service. The staff goes over and beyond to insure comfort. The building shows a bit of wear but the decor is well coordinated and thoughtfully comfortable. Breakfast is always fresh, hot foods replenished quickly and temperatures maintained. Cold foods also at good temperatures with a good variety of items. And always with sparkly smiling attendants. We enjoy our stays here very much.

Everything @ this Best Western met expectations. Myra @ check-in was very pleasant and helpful. The room was great. Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was all good, except for some of the guests, no fault of the hotel Very happy with our stay there.

I had point for BW and needed to be in this town. This hotel is very quiet, the beds are fine and everything was clean. I feel like the BW brand is not as it used to be. The BW Plus is now what the BW used to be.

The value for the quality of room was excellent. Other motels were over priced. We considered moving to another town before we found Best Western. The staff gave us a map of the location of competitors plant so we didn't have to search for it out in the country. Food was good, but fruit could have been a bit better.

Beds were hard as a rock and worn down. Pillowtop? Yeah right. Found some bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness w as ok. Manager was rude. Breakfast lady was friendly and helpful. She was the only part of my stay that was enjoyable.

This was a nice hotel, not my favorite of the Best Westerns, but a good one (Texarkana is my favorite). This would have received an Excellent were it not for the price increase of $100 over the regular rates just because it was near the area of the Total Eclipse. I really don't like price gouging but I had no other choice but to travel on that Sunday as I had to take my son to start university in Illinois.

Hadn't stayed in a Best Western in a long time. This was a Best Western PLUS, so decided to try it. Excellent! Great value at a great price. Very modern, clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Hamptons, Holiday Inn Express, etc. are just getting too expensive. We are always just "passing through", and don't need to spend $150+ just to sleep.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, very comfortable. Would stay here again on our next trip through this area. Makes it a great place to stop because it is close to lamberts café which is a place we enjoy eating. Last year when we went thru we stayed at Drury and did not enjoy it as much as we enjoyed your location.

I would recommend this hotel very highly! The staff was friendly and so helpful and the rooms were SO CLEAN! The beds were super comfortable and there were extra towels in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the woman taking care of it was so friendly and was so efficient in keeping things stocked and clean!

My wife and I stopped here on the way back from a trip to Michigan. This hotel was Clean, well maintained,safe, and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. (eggs and sausage available) Check in, check out quick and easy. The afternoon check in supervisor took the time to help fix a reservation error of mine (hotels.com) I would definitely stay there again.

This place was great. Updated and clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was awesome! It was a full breakfast not just pastries and continental. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, everything!! It was a great value and for the low price I did not have high expectations. They blew it our of the water!

We arrived about 11:30 pm after a long day on the road and I was initially impressed that they had our room ready when I walked in. We were anxious to get some sleep to continue our drive the next day. The facilities were nice and we slept well until 5:18 am when another family entered our room with a key (luckily I had used the extra latch so they couldn't open the door very far.) As you can imagine this startled and scared our family very much and sleep escaped us the rest of the morning. When we went to breakfast I stopped by the front desk to ask them about this and point out that our keys no longer worked on the room. Rather than apologizing profusely or offering compensation for scaring us and interrupting much needed sleep, the clerk was more interested in knowing she hadn't made the mistake and that another worker had checked us in and was responsible for the mistake. I felt more should be done for such a grievance mistake thus bringing my review to a two.

The stay at the Hotel was very well except for the guests up stairs above our room with children, who rudely woke us and several other guests on our floor at 1am. The jumping off beds, running around the room and slamming doors for 45 min.. The father had gone down to the car to get things they needed and left at least two children alone in the room. When we had to get up early for our meeting, and then drive 7 hours back home, we were expecting a good night sleep, not woken up 3hrs later, and then try to go back to sleep after they finally calmed down.

On an extremely hot day on a motorcycle trip we found it necessary to get out of the heat and rest. The pool was refreshing a hot tub would have been nice ice and added to the value which was priced high and the reason we don't use Best Western more often

I found this listing through Travel Advisor and AAA. We were looking for a place with a reasonable rate yet clean and comfortable. After staying at a Best Western Plus hotel the night before, we knew we were in good hands. Best Western Plus Sikeston didn't disappoint. Clean, cozy beds, complimentary breakfast, free internet, and the staff was great!

very clean, very comfortable, has a pool, and the best rates in town. beats Drury Inn hands down. Sikeston is so small so it's great that there is a clean and cheap hotel that has great air conditioning. will stay there every time I go.

The stay was good but not as good as many of the Best Western Plus hotels we have stayed in. The rooms were not sound proof and the breakfast selection was not as good. It was a good location for our vacation purpose.

This is the nicest Best Western I have visited. The Staff was very nice, the room was clean and breakfast was very good. I have visited a number of BW locations and this is by far the best. I highly recommend this one.

This was a quick overnight while on a long road trip. This hotel was reasonably priced for the city and often choose this BW brand hotels. The rooms were clean and the hotel was nice. The breakfast was great, hot and fresh. We enjoyed the stay with an accommodating staff. Check in and out was easy and it was nice to be recognized by name when we turned on the TV.

When you stay at a hotel over and over because of their consistency, its a shock when you get a nasty one. I did check the rating on this hotel and it was high, I am at a loss as to how! This was obviously a recently acquired hotel and poorly fixed up. Coat of paint but the smell was of a really old place! When you pay $100 a night one does not expect grandeur but certainly not chunks to be missing from the toilet lid! Dirt and grime around the baseboards just gross. If it was not for a huge thunderstorm, we would have left. Hopefully, the owners will make this place worthy of the Best Western name.

Clean, good mattress (I have a bad back, so it's important to me.). Unlike other locations, I think the eggs were fake ones. Otherwise, economical, friendly and clean. Lambert was close by and it was a good place to eat.

Although the staff was very helpful, the room could use a makeover. The bed was squeaky, the AC did not work properly so the room got quite warm once the curtain was closed. We finally had to sleep with the curtains open so the air would circulate properly. We had to move to another room in order to get a room that was in better condition.

Friendly staff in all areas, very clean hotel all around, supplies were stocked up, and breakfast was delicious (a lot to choose from too). We will be staying here again when we return in a few weeks!

I found this hotel using AAA in Metaire LA and I stayed there for the first time last year. Ever since then, whenever I drive to Chicago and back to New Orleans I make it a point to use this hotel as my stopping point. It is neat, clean and the staff is very pleasant. In fact once you have stayed there and come back they remember you and greet you with a welcome smile. I recommend that anyone who is traveling through Sikeston and looking for lodging for the evening stay here. They will, in my opinion, love it!

They are in the process of update the carpet and rooms. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. I had a large room with a King Size bed. The bed was wonderful! Comparable to a Marriot mattress. While the property is along the interstate I felt safe. The exterior needs some work but interior was Best Western Plus standard. The breakfast had may selections and the breakfast hostess was very clean and sanitary with her service. I would recommend this property. As a business traveler I would have liked to have a dedicated business center area not a counter in the breakfast room with barstools, but I used it and the printer was good.

Tgis hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet with a very friendly staff. The breakfast was hot and plentiful with sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy along with other typical continental breakfast options. We would definitely stay here again.

clean rooms, helpful staff, breakfast was good but the yogurt was light and my personal preference is regular, beds were comfortable. The only negative is the elevator is at one end and our room was at the other end.

Check in was easy for the most part. Asked if rate was best possible and with a couple clicks, front desk agent said she could knock five dollars off. Considering the quality of the hotel, the room rate was definitely on the high side. When traveling sometimes you have to just go with it. Hotel offers a heated pool, while warm it was clearly not what I would consider heated. When asked about it, front desk agent said the pool person had left for the day. Breakfast area was very small and could not handle the amount of people staying at the hotel. The breakfast host was nice and worked the area helping guests. Offerings were your basic quick hotel breakfast. When wanting to complete checkout the front desk agent was talking with another hotel employee so I went ahead and mixed in with the large breakfast crowd. Ten minutes later they were still talking when I walked up. Must have been a slow morning for them. When I walked up the other employee walked away. When the front desk agent showed me the bill I noticed the room rate had not been changed. As I mention this, the agent responds...what are you talking about? I say that when I checked in the agent changed the price and it is not correct on the paper. Basically with a gruff she says that it is not showing up and says the rate is what it is. I ask to see my check in papers and I can show you where the new price is located. The attitude of the agent continues to decline as she hunts for the paper. When finding the paper she looks it over and says that she can not see the price adjustment. I ask for the paper and show her where the old rate was crossed out and the new rate written down in two locations. The agent responds with...oohhhh. The night agent did not enter it in the computer and the only person who can change it is the manager who is not in at the moment. I am thinking.....it is 8 a.m., where is the manager. I asked about the rate deduction and the agent said the manager would change it and the rate billed would change. The agent said the manager would call me with the new total. The manager never called me back and the price was not changed as I was told. I knew this because when my credit card bill came the old total showed up. I called and explained everything to the credit card company and they adjusted the total. Based on the check out experience, breakfast spacing, not hearing back from the manager, and having to call my credit card I would not suggest this hotel to anybody. Granted this might not happen often, one time is to many. The lack of customer service is a major thumbs down along with the incorrect billing. Room conditions were clearly not five star. Shower was not very strong. Room did not really stink but at the same time it did not smell fresh. There was a envelope asking for tips for the cleaning staff. They did have two free bottles of water in the room. Parking is only available on one side of the property. On the positive side, hotel was located just off the highway. At the exit, you have to turn right and then another right. Then follow the curve in the road and the hotel is on the left located next to another hotel property. Not much for dining close to this hotel as it located on the other side of the highway. I would recommend staying on the other side. There is a Drury Inn/Suites over there. Lamberts which is supposed to be good had an over hour wait.

Encountered an ant problem. Contacted the front desk and was moved to another room which also had ants. When advising the front desk of the continued ant problem in the morning, they dismissed the issue as being a result of the recent rain. Breakfast items were not available towards the latter part of the breakfast hours. This is not acceptable. The hotel is very much in need of some updating.

We arrived late at night on the third day of our six day road trip, and stayed a bit in the morning, so my friend could finish some computer time with the office back home. Accommodations were comfortable, and wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was well done. It was a nice stop along the way.

My brother and I stayed here on our genealogical trip to the "bootheel" of Missouri. Breakfast was very good. The lady taking care of the breakfast area was very meticulous in her duties and always had a friendly greeting.

We stayed the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend and I believe the hotel was booked up. But it was still fairly quiet and easy to get a good rest. The main thing I care about is clean linens, no funky smells, decent towels, comfortable bed and good breakfast, and this hotel met all of these expectations.

Room was clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel staff was very friendly, and although I missed breakfast, it smelled delicious. I liked the fact that the room was reasonable, and in a convenient location. We would definitely stay again.

My family got two rooms here on our way back home from Florida. Very nice rooms, very comfortable beds, AC was kind of weird, but I just may not have been smart enough to figure it out, however the window opens, and it was a nice cool night, we were on second floor and that breeze coming in was wonderful, good free breakfast in morning, didn't use them but they have an indoor pool and a fitness center. Staff very, very friendly and helpful.

We have had good luck with Best Western plus locations but this is probably one of the better hotels I have stayed in. Although I didn't use the pool of fitness. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly and breakfast was great!

Come year a few times each year for work and I'm never disappointed. Audrey and her staff are awesome. Great rooms..modern decor. Beds are very comfortable and the linens are high quality. Flat screen TV. Indoor pool. Free WiFi. Very good Continental breakfast. Decent rate for a place this nice. Right off I-55. Come check it out!

My visit to Sikeston was during the flooding in Missouri. Had a couple issues when I first checked in but they were quickly dealt with by the front desk staff and management. I originally planned on staying one day and had to increase my stay for two more days. Staff and management were incredibly helpful and supportive. They checked the route I was supposed to take where flooding was occurring and kept me appraised of the road closures and when conditions change so that I could continue on my trip. I truly appreciate their concern and assistance expecially the front desk staff. If ever traveling through Sikeston I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Room was not as clean as I would have expected from reviews. The man working the desk in the am was more interested in his morning gossip than being polite to guests. Would have been nice to start my day off with a little more polite good morning.

Had a good nights sleep when needed after a long day's travel, and a late start. Although located near the freeway, there was no sound from it, and no sounds from outside the room to disturb our sleep. We loved our stay.

After checking in and given directions to my room, I couldn't help but notice a strange odor in the 1st floor hallway. Similar to cat urine. The room itself was odor free, but just appeared dark & old. The ice machine is across from the front desk in an unfinished , mildew scented room along with the guest washer & dryer. I decided to forgo the ice and went to local convenience store to purchase some. The exterior door closest to my room was open all night. There is a sign stating you need a room key to enter, but I don't know when that is. I just ever felt safe and comfortable. The bathroom had 1 bar of soap, which was in the shower. I was provided with 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel, but plenty of bath towels. The sink stopper did not work , and the light in the bathroom kept turning itself off & on. Got to breakfast with 45 mins left. No biscuits for the gravy. no eggs. no juice, no fruit. hard dry sausage. I don't think I'll stay here again , even though I will be travelling through here frequently.

We stayed here after a long day home from Texas. The room was so nice I actually wish we could've spent more time here. It was a corner room, really spacious, HUGE bathroom. Very clean, liked the water bottles provided - such a nice touch. Breakfast was really good and had a great variety of pastries, eggs and meat. The coffee was also excellent.

This is a BW plus so expected a little more, beds were good, room was good. However, we had 1 bar of soap and nothing else Note said complementary products available at front desk but when we checked with front desk, ( she was also very busy, it was a full hotel) she apologized and said she did not have anything and she would have to go upstairs to the supply room, but it as obvious that she could not leave the front desk as a plus hotel i would have thought these would have been provided

We stayed here on our trip and found it a very nice place to stay. Room was very nice and roomy. would stay here again.I can not say anything about the amenities as it was just a place to crash after a big meal at Lamberts.

On our way back to Michigan. Very nice Best Western Plus. Large room, clean, and comfortable. Microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Front desk staff were very friendly and professional. Reasonably priced.

Nice hotel. Was clean and front desk helpful. My reason for rating only three stars. There are two: shower would only get luke warm and not enough sitting for breakfast. I will say the hotel was sold out. I would try again.

We were given room 108 on the night of Oct 23 . The toilet was unusable and broken; the sink had standing filthy water. The rubbish container by the side door was overflowing with food containers and caused odor and health hazard. For $90 I expect a little more.I'll never stay at a BW Plus again.

We travel with pets (well mannered and not messy) so we always have to find pet friendly hotels. Sikeston is a good halfway point in our Chicago trips and we've stayed at pretty much everything allowing pets there. This was our first time staying at the Best Western and we were very pleased with the overall stay. Staff was very helpful getting us a room on the ground floor close to an outside door to ease walking the dogs. Room was clean, bedding fresh, bathroom spotless and plenty of towels. Breakfast was typical with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker and the various cereals, fruit and yogurt. Coffee was excellent. The only negatives are the hallway carpet needed cleaning from what looked like muddy boot traffic and the room carpet probably needed a good cleaning as well. Otherwise, a very nice stay. We liked the first night so much we booked it again for the return trip the same week. The Best Western will be our "go to" place in Sikeston from now on.

I was pleasantly surprised during my stay in Sikeston. The Best Western Plus was pleasant and very clean. Very conveniently located right off the highway. The community is nice and very friendly PLUS you always have Lambert's and their wonderful fried okra!

We really liked the location and amenities of this hotel. The management staff was very friendly and helpful. We had requested a first floor room and our request was honored. We have stayed at this hotel for several years now and have always had great service and the service is excellent.

Excellent stay. Comfortable beds. Very clean room. Efficient and courteous staff who helped us locate on internet church for the next morning. Bathrooms clean and efficiently laid out. Just a good stay.

This by far is the friendliest Best Western we have every stayed. They cannot do enough to make you stay comfortable and are very accommodating to making your stay enjoyable. We stay here often and look forward to returning soon.

This hotel was very clean and up-to-date inside and out. It was very small but fully-loaded with amenities: indoor pool, microwave, refrigerator, access to computers, free breakfast, free wifi, fitness center, laundry room, and a mini snack area. It's also somewhat secluded where it's located but very close to food and shopping!

The website says that this hotel has been renovated. They may have renovated the rooms , but the carpets in the hallway are absolutely filthy. The first room we were put in room 124 absolutely reeked from smoke scent. The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. We were able to get a room change and the second room was better. The lady at the front desk knew of the room smelling of smoke. She should not have put us in it to begin with. Very glad we are only here one night.

We had requested a handicap accessible room and we were pleased with the room. The breakfast menu was very good and the selections would fit almost anyone's appetite. Check out was a breeze. Our stay there was a delight and we will be sure to stay there again. If there are other travels in the future I will check out Best Western first.

Front desk staff was very helpful and cared about us. The entire staff was customer focused. The breakfast was good. Very clean. Location earned the "plus" designation. We will stay there again if we are in the area.

Stayed one night. Did not have reservations but was able to get a room with king size bed at 11pm at night. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage , biscuits, yogurt, pastries, cereal, waffles, and lots of coffee!

The staff at this hotel were awesome. From the gentleman who checked me in on Sunday night, to the housekeeping girls and breakfast attendants. Room was clean, breakfast was great. Other booking sites were much more competitive than going through hotel website. Lesson learned. Not many hotels in the area.

Stayed here for one night, on the way to Arkansas, Hotel staff was nice and helpful, and the have a hot breakfast in the morning, the price was competitve for the area, and would deifinitly recommend this hotel

We stopped here on our way back from Louisiana. Overall, everything was okThe main drawback was when we woke up in the morning there were ants crawling all over the desk. We were in a hurry to get on the road so we just packed up quickly, grabbed breakfast and headed out.

Clean, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, hot breakfast including eggs and sausage. Indoor swimming pool. Located right off the interstate and just down the street from all restaurants and anywhere else we'd need to go. Price made this stay the best choice for the value!

My brother and I were checking in to The Best Western Plus together but with separate rooms. Because we were basically paying double the receptionist gave us a nice discount. She also worked hard at finding rooms that were cleaned already so we could go to our rooms even though it was before check-in time. She was great!!!!!

We probably would have passed by if we weren't staying in the area to visit family. It doesn't look like much on the outside but you won't get a more comfortable night sleep anywhere else! We once again had a handicapped room with roll in shower. We were so pleased to see that this room matched the previous night in another city. I didn't exactly love the decor but the bed is comfortable, the air adjustable, with plenty of room to maneuver and the ability to plug in your power chair next to the bed, if Best Western can get it right, why can't other hotel chains?

Second time staying at this hotel within the last year. It still is a great hotel. All staff that we incountered were very friendly. Hotel was clean and updated. Wifi was better than average for a hotel. Breakfast was good and nice selection. Room rates better than other surrounding hotels. Will stay here when in area.

Was a big fan of BW Plus. Have to rethink that now. Stayed here once before. Remember it being a decent place to stay. Room smelled. Had a very humid feeling in it. So much so that the carpet felt wet. And they need to get their bedsheets someplace other than the $2 sets from Dollar General. Body was sticking to these pitiful sheets. Had stayed at the Drury 5 years ago. Wish I chosen it.

We stopped off here on the way to visit family in Illinois so we could eat at Lamberts. The hotel was nice. The beds were a bit too firm, but that's not unusual. Front desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was a mixed bag. Omelet, yogurt, and cereal were good. The waffles was terrible. We figure it was a bad batch of batter. Pool was pretty cloudy so we didn't swim.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great room and was very quiet. The location was convenient to other attractions. I would recommend this hotel to other people. You must eat at Lambert's while you are there-it is a unique experience.

As soon as you walk in the room smells musty and was very damp. There were stains on the carpet which had not been vacuumed. We had to request that it be done. Did have a few ants on the bed. Breakfast was average. Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a very nice hotel with a good breakfast. I had not looked at the map closely until after I made the reservations, so I needed to change our stay from 7 days to just one. In the morning, I talked to the manager who was very gracious and helpful. I was able to make the change with absolutely no problems. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were on our way to Chicago and needed a place to stay along the way. This hotel was very close to the interstate and easy to access. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast but it was the cleanest I have ever seen! The staff was very friendly.

The room was extremely humid. We had the a/c on 65. The pool was way too cold for it being Indoors. It's smells like mold everywhere. The breakfast area is too small, and there are not any restaurants in walking distance. The beds are hard, and the tv kept going in and out. We are so disappointed. Its maybe worth $40 a night not anything more.

The staff was nice and breakfast was fine but our room smelled moldy. It was so gross and my eyes and throat are burning. There were moldy stains on the curtain. I considered leaving and just driving home where I could sleep in comfort.

Personal at hotel were very friendly and helpful. Recomended a wonderful resturant for dinner very friendly and helpful. Location is easy to get to from the interstate and easy to find from the interstate. Would use this hotel again if in the area.

From the time we entered the front doors until checkout the staff was so very friendly and helpful. Audrey Hileman checked us in. She made us feel at home and answered our questions about places to eat nearby. Hotel was very clean both in the lobby and rooms. We will definitely stay here again.

A little mix up at check in with the credit card we wanted to bill for the stay, but Mira the front desk clerk was very helpful and though I was irritated and tired from the road, she remained calm and helpful and smiled. Turned out to be okay-no mistake made. Mira also provided a bottle opener when we discovered we left ours! Toilet in room worked but rocked a little and the seat would not stay up. Breakfast was average but the host in the breakfast area was very friendly. Room on first level smelled of bleach and dampness.

A perfect place, experience, and stay at a great price. Having read all the many positive reviews in TripAdvisor, I felt confident in selecting this motel on our trip to Saint Louis. It was very, very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. The desk clerk was super friendly and the lady working the breakfast was the best ever. Super hospitality.

We stayed here as a convenient stop on a road trip. It provides everything you would expect from Best Western. It is a fairly new facility with indoor room entry, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers, continental breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. Be sure to eat at Lambert's.

Unfortunately, we were fool by the photoshopped photos! The building itself is not in good condition! The room and halls were musty. The walls and fixtures in the room were dirty. The room was humid/damp even with the air set to 68. The pool was freezing, tiny, and the deck was extremely slippery. Long story short... Spend the extra $25 to stay at Drury or Peartree if you want a comfortable over night with your family.

Checked into hotel last night, first room we walked in and immediately noticed ants on the bed and night table. Told the front desk and they finally agreed to change our room. Didn't see any ants before bed in the second room. This morning when we woke up we had ants in our bed, on the walls and in our bags!! Had to dump bags out in the bathtub to try to get them out. I am currently in the car (45 min from hotel) and between my husband and myself we have killed 11 ants on ourselves! Must have been in our clothes still. We told the front desk this morning and all she said was that she would tell someone. Not happy with how they handled the situation. We should have packed up and moved hotels after we saw the first room!! Now we are taking the ants home with us! With bites and all!

From the Manager to clerks, room service and breakfast the finest crew ever in any Best Western I have ever stayed. Stay often and will continue to. Look forward to coming back. Feel like family. Location is convenient and breakfast is presented well and of good quality. Only hotel tell I have stayed in which offered soy milk which I prefer.

My husband and I stayed here on our way to the Indy 500. The hotel was very nice, the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Even though our room was right by the stairs, everything was very quiet. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Stale odor in room upon arrival. Not terrible, but noticeable. Bed and bathroom were clean. Carpets in need of deep cleaning. Lots of stains in hallways. These things were all noticeable, but could be overlooked. The real problem was when people checked in to the room above us at about midnight. The noise woke us both up and we are not really light sleepers. It sounded like elephants were caving in the ceiling. This went on for over an hour. They finally settled down for a few hours, but were up again at 5AM. Not a good night if they were walking across the floor, we could hear it.

Came to Missouri to the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bloomfield MO where our father is buried. Sikeston offered an area for restaurants and shopping. Best Western has become my chain of choice because of the options the provide. Sikeston's hotel provided a wonderful stay both the hotel and the staff.

We just did an overnight stay here we have been on the road for over a month so appreciate a nice quiet night sleep we had a very comfortable bed in a nice room staff was very accommodating and helpful. They have traditional motel breakfast which any traveler becomes acquainted with. LOL. I need a mobility handicap room which we had a very nice one able to negotiate very easily in. Our room was quite nice

This was our 3rd time staying at the Sikeston Best Western. The building and rooms are nice and the breakfast is better than most hotels. We'll be back! The only problem we have is parking. We have a large truck and trailer and there is no space to park our vehicles. We have to park at the nearby store and truck center and walk a short distance.

We spent the night here after a day in St. Louis. The room appeared fresh and clean. Upon entering the room it had a odor of stale cigarette smoke. The had not been with a large group of students I might have asked for a different room. The ozone machine either wasn't used or the odor is in the carpet. The faucet and tub chrome was old because appeared heavily cracked or scratched. The breakfast is typical as other hotels offering, scrambled eggs, waffles,sauasage, donuts, rolls, bagels, biscuits and gravy. If I was to be in this area again I might stay here again.

This hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful. The room were very clean and bed was very comfortable.. The breakfast was good and hot. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Just like first time my stay was really great and would recommend this hotel to anybody.

After almost four hundred miles of driving, my wife and I were more than ready for our planned stop and the Sikeston Best Western Plus definitely fitted the bill. We were checked in quickly and found our ground floor room easily. Although the downstairs corridor looked rather scruffy and in need of some attention, our room was very clean and the two queen beds were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate although nothing special. All the Best Western staff that we spoke to were absolutely charming and could mot have been more helpful. The free wi-fi worked well and the cost of the night's stay was certainly not expensive at $100.32.

I'm pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was adequate. Two things I especially like: air conditioner fan stays "on" to provide white noise, and very good TV with excellent channels.

Everything was okay. The room was clean, etc. and as expected from Best Western. The beds were appreciated as they were not the super-high ones suffered from on some recent stays at comparable chains. Breakfast was good, as expected, and the attendant cheerful and helpful.

The only complaint was the halls ways needed a good vacuuming. Maybe they were broke? Breakfast was good. They had my favorite yogurt Chabonni. Coffee, waffles, eggs, sausage were available. I was traveling with a group of nine students on our way home from a competition. All of our rooms were extremely comfortable. The attention to detail on amenities from the towels at the pool to shower heads high enough for tall men to enjoy was fabulous. The breakfast left a little bit to be desired except for the wonderful fresh fruit and the waffles but everything else made up for it.

This is the first time in quite a while we have stayed at a Best Western. We did so because of the social media reviews were quite positive. Overall, it was a very nice stay. Easy check in, nice clean room, and good breakfast. Would stay there again anytime.

Needed a place to get a good nights sleep and this fit the bill. The bed was comfortable and the area is quiet. Good breakfast to get the next day started right. Typical fare, but was hot and well stocked.

Great location, great staff, awesome breakfast the next morning. Only problem that we had was the cable and internet went out the morning we left. We did make a tip to the the breakfast attendant, which was to use a shaker for the cinnamon that is used for the waffles. Renee, on the front desk when we checked in was very polite and professional. Loved the free bottled water and a bag full of goodies, since I am a Rewards member.

Our roon was very nice and clean, the breakfast was great the nice waffle machine was great we had a great rest after a long day of traveling, the hotel was quiet We ate dinner at Lamberts Café that's a must to do to when your in the area so I recommend you stopping their for dinner also.

We stopped at the Best Western Plus on our way down to New Orleans. We arrived after 11pm and left the next morning at 7am so we weren't there for very long. The check-in process went smoothly and quickly. The rooms were nice and comfortable. It was nice that they offered free bottled water, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. The breakfast was very good.

I come up once a month to visit my son who is in SECC in Charleston. That is 10 miles from Sikeston. I get to in Charleston on Friday afternoons at 1:00 and my visit starts at 2:30. Since I spend the night I get to visit Sat. Mornings also. Since I live 4 hours away. the rest is healthful and helpful.

I stay here every week for work and have never been disappointed in my stay. The staff are great and the rooms are comfortable. The location is not the best and the parking is a little small for my Semi but they do a good job trying to accommodate for me. I would recommend this hotel.

Freshly baked cookies when we arrived, pleasant helpful front desk, large room with comfy beds, not brand new but clean, large bathroom, shower pressure was NOT Good!!! Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. Pool looked very nice but we did not use it. Small adequate fitness room with tvs. We will definitely stay again on our way through.

Upon arrival at this Best Western property, all staff members did 100% effort to make our stay comfortable. Great tips on local dining spots that turned to some of the best food we had on this trip. Great access from Interstate gets you on and off the road quick. Also a great breakfast to start your day.

Great room with fantastic aroma, decor, and amenities. Courteous and friendly staff, with sufficient hot breakfast bar, but with limited seating. Pool area seemed nice, but we did not use it. Great rate found online made this an excellent choice for a stopover on a long trip. Would definitely book here again.

Exceptional customer service ~ kudos to Patrick & Logan at the front desk. It's so nice to be warmly welcomed by a smiling face after a long day on the road. Room #114 was a standard double, very clean (although a child had apparently kissed him/herself in the full length mirror.) Flat screen TV with lots of channels, fridge/micro and free wifi with decent signal. Bedside table lamps had outlets in the base which made it super EZ & convenient to plug in chargers, laptop, etc. Bed was very comfortable with triple sheets and plenty of nice pillows. Bathroom was spotless with ample hot water, great pressure & bright white, fat & fluffy towels. Parking lot was well lit & I felt my vehicle was safe. Appreciated the receipt slid under the door during the night which expedited checkout next morning, Continental was standard but well tended. There are bargain priced motels in the area but a few more dollars buys a much nicer room & BW is our first choice in the area. Would definitely recommend.

We really appreciated the friendly young man at the desk who went out of his way to make us feel at home on our visit to this Best Western. The room was clean and the water was hot. This was in the middle of Winter Storm Goliath as all the cold rain passed thru so we were happy campers indeed

The Best Western Plus - Sikeston had everything we've been accustomed to expect from a Best Western – a clean, comfortable room, a good, hot breakfast selection and courteous service. Would stay here again if we're back in the area.

I timed this stay to take advantage of my Diamond member points and am glad that I did. The manager and staff of this location exemplify the Plus of Best Western. The room was very lovely and comfortable. My King suite had a large writing table/desk as well as a couch and a large flat screen TV. The ample size bathroom was another Plus! I don't normally use a motel laundry but there are no coin laundromats near by. For $2.00 each the top load washer and front load dryer efficiently washed and dried my clothes, nice! The hot and cold breakfast variety also was quite good. This one is going on my best bet list!!

We stopped here on our way to our destination for Christmas. It's clean, spacious and the staff are very friendly! One of the best Hotels we've stayed at in awhile.. Also the Cleanest Best Western I've seen in years! We used Booking to reserve the location and we got a great deal! A little over 100.00 and it's Well Worth it ??

Decent $ value for the room. Wifi a little slower then I am use to but was OK. Will stay here again on next trip. Couple of spots in the room needed touch up with paint and a loose tile in the bathroom but nothing to make my stay unpleasant. Making reservations thru the hotel was another pleasant experience. Nice big flat screen HD tv and the fridge kept my drinks of choice very cold without freezing.

All the staff at this facility Were very very but I'm willing to help and very friendly. staying at this facility I felt like I was staying at a close friends or families house I would recommend the Best Western Inn Sikeston 2ne1 I would even stay there if I lived in town

Located right off the highway. Hotel was clean as you walked in and through out. Check-in was quick and friendly. Room was clean, so were the sheets. Plenty of towels and pillows for all four of us. Two complimentary bottles of water in the room was great! The breakfast was very nice. Eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, cereal, pastries and more. The lady kept the area clean and food stocked. Check-out lady was nice too. We will save this one for future stops!

In previous visits to Sikeston we have always stayed at the Drury. After checking the Drury rates and tripadvisor reviews, we decided to take a chance on this hotel. It did cost $98 which I thought might be a little bit much. It was a basic hotel. We were told upon the whole hotel had been gutted and redone. Not sure when that was done, but it did look a bit used in the hallways. The room was bright and good sized. The TV worked well and yes the remote was in a cloth bag. The beds were firm but comfortable to sleep on as well as the pillows. Towels were nice. Gentleman upon our checkin was extremely nice and helpful. We thought the breakfast was a little sparse though, but adequate. Hotel was probably one I would stay at again depending on pricing.

I don't know how this place had a high rating. The halls were filthy. The sheets had not been changed and had hair all over them. The shower tile had mold. One positive, the desk clerk was friendly and changed the bedding. I've stayed at much nicer hotels for less money.

The hotel and room were clean, but the room smelled as if someone had been smoking in a non-smoking room. Let the hotel know when we checked out. They said they would check into the matter. Would recommend this hotel to others.

8 years ago I stopped at the Best Western in Sikeston en route to San Antonio. There was a pond out front, and the ducks waddled right up to me as I exited the car, expecting to be fed. The hotel had a large lobby, elegant dining room, and spacious rooms. On this trip, I arranged to stop in SIkeston only to find that the Best Western had moved into another building. (The old hotel is now an America's Best Value.) There was nothing really wrong with the rooms or service, but it's just a cookie-cutter motel lacking the character of the older building. If you have business in Sikeston, you might prefer a newer facility like the Drury Inn. Luckily, Lambert's Cafe, one of the funkiest restaurants you'll ever visit, is still open just a half mile down the road.

We stay here every time we drive through on our way back from Texas. It's a nice, clean hotel and we always choose to stay here. Management is always friendly and the rooms are always tidy. My favorite part is they put a bag over the TV remote showing it's been cleaned. It's one of those things other hotels don't do and if you think about it, that's pretty nasty! This isn't a super nice hotel, but it has everything you need for your stay and we've never had a problem or complaint about it.

Very clean with great firm comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and capable, special kudos to the manager for providing covered motorcycle parking. Nice wholesome breakfast choices and fresh hot one at a time pancakes. Thoughtful touches like bottled water provided in room. Helpful staff

This was a great hotel! Very clean and very updated (may be fairly new) with friendly staff. Allisha was especially helpful with her restaurant suggestions which included Lambert's, a not-to-be-missed place in the immediate area. Thanks for a good night's sleep!

Was here one night and would definitely stay again. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room was well appointed and very clean. The refrigerator did make too much noise so we unplugged it as it was too late to call and get it fixed. The morning breakfast started early and was also very good.

Great service at check in. Katarious (I probably spelled that wrong) was wonderful at check in. Clean room. I haven't had breakfast yet, but I probably won't partake anyway. Still a great price for the room.

Headed down to Arkansas and had a one night stopover. Staff was friendly and fully explained the ins and out of the hotel. Room was clean and came with two bottles of water. Common areas of the hotel were clean and kept updated. Complimentary breakfast was tasty, plentiful and area was clean. Hotel was conveniently right off I-55. Have to drive to get to nearby restaurants. Pet friendly.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast fare was tasty and plentiful. Rooms and common areas were clean an appeared to be kept up nicely. Pool was out of commision, but by the time this posts is supposed to be back up and running. The hotel is right off the highway which is a plus however you will have to drive to get to any restaurants.

Room was clean - very clean! I appreciated the little things like the 2 bottles of water waiting for me! it's the little things that mean a lot!! Personnel was very helpful and very friendly. Pleasant experience.
