    « One night enroute »

« Wonderful Place to stay!! »

This is a great Hotel to stay if your passing through, Staff was friendly, rooms where clean and comfortable, and the breakfeat was one of the best we ever had at a BW. I am differently going to remember this place if I need somewhere to stay again while traveling!!!!!!!!!!

« A good deal in the middle of nowhere »

The Exterior needs painting (first impression) But do not let that get in the way. The rooms have been upgraded, modernized and quite nice. The bed was GREAT. The breakfast area was better than most. There was a good variety of foods and well stocked. This "Mom & Pop" operation was first rate. I initially had a problem with the air conditioning unit. The owner came promptly and fixed it. For a hotel in the middle of nowhere in Texas, it was quite nice.

    « one night »

This Motel was pretty much average There was nothing special about it, it did serve the purpose. We were only there for a graduation, and stayed one night. The breakfast was good what you would expect from most any breakfast included motel. The pool was down for repairs so could not comment on it.

« good value, clean hotel »

nice from office personnel. we inadvertently left behind a pair of prescription sunglasses and was immediately called by the manager to let us know before we got too far away. he was very kind and we certainly appreciate his efforts in reuniting us with the glasses. only negative was the fact that the pool had a sign that stated it was closed for the season. it was june. just when is the season, if not june???

« Staff was excellent, very helpful »

Manager of the hotel went out of his way to be helpful. He assisted in returning my phone when I accidentally left it behind in one of the rooms. So grateful for the honesty and assistance in getting that back. Clean and comfortable rooms.

    « Customer Service »

Staff was extremely helpful, understanding, and friendly. We arrived at the hotel on eight Harley Davidson motorcycles; the weather forecast called for tornados in the area. The owner graciously moved his personal vehicle from a covered brick carport against the building to allow us to park our bikes so they would be safer from the impending weather. Since we were not familiar with the area, the staff directed us to a great place to eat not far from the hotel. Rooms were very comfortable, the showers were hot, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast the next morning hit the spot and we were back on the road! Upon arriving home, we had a message that one in our group left their cell phone in the room. The cleaning staff found it and called us and made arrangements to personally deliver the phone back to San Antonio - Wow! Thank you so much for our fantastic experience!

« The nicest staff ever »

This hotel is nice enough. It was fairly clean. It's dated. The bathroom is very small but you get a clean bath or shower. It's pet friendly even though there are signs everywhere saying otherwise. It's also smoke free. The room itself was comfortable and spacious. There is self serve laundry on site. The wifi is fast. The best thing about this hotel was the friendly staff and the breakfast. You can get hot or cold items and it's included with your room rate.

    « Vacation trip »

Staff is very friendly and the breakfast was good. They had biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage plus waffles. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was awesome-great water pressure and shower head. I only wish they would work on the fountain and clean the flower beds up. It would really add to the property.

    « passing thru »

Nice experience. Good value and convenient to the interstate. The rooms were clean, well appointed and the staff friendly and attentive. Cleanliness, comfort and value are what we look for and we found it here. We travel this way several times a year and have added this inn to our list of good stops.

« good hotel in a relatively remote location »

Clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. It is just off I 10 in west Texas, but the hum of the heat/air conditioning unit makes it easy to block any normal noise and sleep well. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

    « Moldy & smoky 'nonsmoking' room »

I booked the room about 2 hours before we got there and it was the last non-smoking room left. Although the property meets brand standards with amenities and decor, the rooms are very old. We walked into our non-smoking room, and it smelled like a cross between a smoky bar and a moldy bathroom. I tried fanning the door a few times to exchange some air but the bugs were out. There is no central air, so I turned on the window unit. It helped slightly. The reservation policy is non negotiable so we had to stay or eat the cost. Unfortunately I chose to stay. By morning, I had bronchitis and my spouse and kid developed a cough that lasted all week & hasn't gone away yet. If you have allergies, COPD, emphysema, asthma or any breathing issues, do not stay here.

« Beware of this hotel »

Ended up staying here overnight on our way to Houston. As soon we we entered our non smoking room, not only did we smell smoke, but mold and mildew as well. As nice as the staff was, at least our room was a major health hazard, and although I'm aware that best western hotels are franchises, places like this will ruin the best western name if they are allowed to continue. We should have asked for a new room immediately, we are obviously to blame for that, but still, I'd like for people to be aware of what happened to us.

    « Clean & Quiet »

Traveling with a pet and looking for a hotel in West Texas can be tricky; we have been stung before. So we were thrilled to find a nice little pet-friendly hotel in a remote location like Ozona. CLEAN. Friendly staff. Furnishings are dated but comfortable. Bathroom a bit cramped. But all-in-all this is an oasis in a desert.

    « Nice suprise »

We were scared to stay in a small town we didn't know, but this place was great. From staff being helpful to the clean room. Including the bathroom which the teenage girls usually found something wrong, but not this one. They also did something special as I wanted a ground floor and they booked me close to the office so I felt very safe. Thank you BW!

« This was a quick one night stop. »

The hotel was very nice. The staff was very courteous, polite, and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The desk was very helpful in directing us where to find a good meal. The local cafe was top of the line. They have the best burgers around. Would stay here again.

    « Clean and comfortable »

Simple but clean hotel. You don't enter rooms as typical hotel thru lobby area, but across parking lot thru building corrodor. There is 2 floors but no elevator, so definitely ask for bottom floor if you have leg or back trouble. Nice little free breakfast with bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles. Staff live on site and are very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend and would stay again!

« Bugs & not very pet friendly »

On the website for this hotel, they advertise being pet friendly. A pet friendly hotel was necessary for me because I was traveling across the country with my cat. However, when we arrived, we saw "NO PETS" signs everywhere. We ended up being able to keep my cat with us overnight after moving into one of the smoking rooms, which still had a NO PETS sign on the door. The room was comfortable enough, until we were trying to sleep and saw a bug crawl across the bed. I'm glad I was traveling with my cat, because he enjoyed killing the bugs for us. But that is something I'd rather not deal with again.

    « CLEAN MOTEL »

We have stayed here before and will stay again in we are in Texas, was very happy they take pets, had great shower and rooms were nice, housekeeping did a nice job with our room. The room we had was nice size.

« A little pricey for the area.... »

Clean and comfy room. Older property but well maintained. If you get a ground floor room you could possibly park right outside your door. Breakfast was good and well supplied. I thought the price was a little high for the area but saw a lot of oil well workers and such, which ALWAYS means the nightly rate is HIGHER!! This wasn't a Best Western Plus but had the price of one.

    « Best Western Ozona »

Great motel for an overnight when traveling through Texas. It is a good spot, nice to have your car outside the room. Easy to unload and then reload. Good breakfast. Good cafe within walking distance.

« Weary Travler Finds Restful Stop. »

I travel from California to Louisiana at least 3 to 4 times per year. Ozona has kind caring people that make you feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is hot and plentiful. The hotel has convenient I10 access.

    « Clean nice hotel »

A great deal. Rooms are clean and well serviced. Stay here quite often. Staff is very friendly. Have never tried the breakfast but the other guys seem to like it. It is near I-10 but not close enough to hear the 18 wheelers. Internet speed is good as well as the cable TV.

    « Basic Hotel/Great TV »

Ozona Best Western is very clean, very efficient, updated, and with a 42" flat screen/zillions of channels in HD Good place for an overnight in the middle of West Texas. My only complaint was the air freshner was a bit strong upon entry.

    3
« Pet Friendly means pet fee »

I usually stay at La Quinta because of their excellent pet policy. They don't charge a pet fee. This Best Western charges a pet fee. It wasn't a surprise, but I was disappointed that a La Quinta competitor like Best Western hasn't figured out how to compete at the same level. I only stayed at this hotel because there wasn't a La Quinta choice in Ozona.

    « Really REALLY Clean! »

Travelling from California to San Antonio with another couple, we booked two rooms on line. What a great choice! The helpful girl at the front desk was wonderful to find us two spacious ground-floor rooms since none of us wanted to carry luggage up stairs. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds were VERY nicely done with quality linens and comfy mattresses. Easy access to the I-10 and convenient parking area for our moving van and trailer. You will need to drive to find a restaurant (unless you are comfortable walking a couple of blocks) since there aren't any places in Ozona which deliver. We opted for Pepe's Cafe which was fantastic. Had a restful, quiet night and an excellent breakfast. Well done, Best Western Ozona. If we pass this way again, we'll be sure to stop by.

    « Best Western Ozona »

This hotel was perfect for a quick overnight after a long day of travel and another day to follow. It was quiet. Clean. Free breakfast with the Texas waffle maker. The staff were very helpful. Easy on and off the freeway.

    « A Clean room »

Room was clean, service people nice. Good if you need a place to sleep in a pinch. Served it's purpose but would not stay there again. Hotel is dated. I would check out other hotels in this area before staying here again.

« Good stay after a long drive »

Very nice, reliable, clean Best Western. Good open parking space in the back for parking truck and trailer, well lighted in quiet neighborhood. Good free hot breakfast. Very nice and clean room, inside access. Hotel manager very hospitable and helpful, even loaned me some tools to help fix a problem on my trailer. Would stay here again.

« Friendly and Very Clean Place »

Arrived late and tired. They suggested a really nice place to eat, and found the room really clean and comfortable.. Nice linens and pillows. Left early the next day, and they called to tell me I had left my glasses in the room and offered to mail them to me. Now that is superb service and super nice staff. I would recommend this stop for any travelers!!

« Nice place, nice staff, good parking for our moving truck/trailer »

The desk clerk who greeted us was very nice. He warned us about a wedding taking place that was going to have a band in a building across the street. We just left our TV on and the band ended promptly at midnight. Liked that he did prewarn us and said that he had no control of it. He gave us a room where we could keep an eye on our truck which we appreciated. Breakfast was fine. No problems, had a good night's sleep.

    « Very Satishfied »

We found this motel on the internet. We reviewed other places online also, but even though there were a few negative reviews on this BW, we decided to give it a look anyhow. Reviews can be erroneous and misleading. But upon arrival and inspection of this Best Western, we found no justification for the bad reviews whatsoever. Someone was just being malicious. This motel was really much better than I imagined. Very nice really. The attendant there that night was very nice and attentive. We were very pleased and would definitely stay there again.

    « Nice place! »

Me and my husband we drove from Rodeo to Ozona and we decided to stay Best western Inn after all driving I was looking a soft bed! I was surprise with everything in the room. Big room, TV, fridge, free Wifi, clean, nice bathroom, King bed and it's really soft and pillows. Wow!...This is what I'm looking for. If you're Ozona I recommend.

    « Clean and Comfy »

We were traveling through Texas with a planned stop in San Antonio when we decided to call it a day in Ozona. Great property with a very pleasant staff. Breakfast was perfect and our room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds.

    5
« Great place to stay, friendly staff. »

We enjoyed our stay at the Ozona Inn mostly due to the friendly and professional staff and the overall appearance of the facilities and room we stayed in. The breakfast was good and both check in and check out were quick and easy. It is very easy to get off and back on I-10 when stopping at this hotel.

    « Not like a Best Western »

Pro's: Clean, comfy bed. Cons: pool closed for season, in August! Bath towels thin and dingy, toilet paper very thin, toilet seat yellow with age and chips out of seat painted white. Light in bathroom doesn't work, you must use heat lamp (on timer) for light, stains on couch and a hole in the wall with something poking through -- was a light fixture. Definitely not a Best Western experience. Not worth the price!

    « Gross »

We got in late last night, my hubby is working here in town a few days, we came in the room and there's huge nasty stains all over the carpet, it smells like pure mold, the chair had a giant brown crap stain that we whipped off, the shower curtain smells like pure smoke (non smoking room) their stingy on towels, it's over priced and we went through a whole bottle of Lysol as soon as we got here. Also the king size bed has a few tiny pillows, I figured it being a king size bed it would have king size pillows! I hope my month old baby doesn't catch something.
