Nice quiet hotel. The whole hotel appears clean. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area. It can be a challenge to find it. There are signs at the Interstate exits but nothing at the access road on the south side of the Love's travel stop.

Great staff and management goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their guest. Never had an issue they didn't handle in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this location as it's easy on and off access roads.

People are always friendly and will go out of there way too help. I recommend this hotel. Best one in Eufaula ok. The breakfast is a always amazing.,it's my favorite part about my stay . I will definitely be going back again. I also will recommend to anyone

The hotel's amenities were good, but the staff was outstanding, from checkin to maid service, it's rated a 2 star but I'd rate it at least a 3 star. It's clean and inexpensive.nothing fancy, I recommend it.

Hotel is a bit aged, but was very clean and well managed. King size bed was very comfortable. Room refrigerator didn't have a temperature control knob and was turned to Max causing my milk to freeze. Minor issue and I didn't report it, but if I did I'm certain the Staff would have taken care of it.

Whilst the highway is nearby, the rooms here are very comfortable and quiet. An enjoyable complimentary breakfast. We enjoyed the improvements that had been made since we last stayed (3.5 years ago), and the added amenities in the rooms. We will be staying here again in July. All staff are extremely helpful.

Room is decent for the price but the absolute horrid person at the front desk needs to go. She was rude unhelpful and just overall a terrible person. She was rude to my wife upon check in due to us arriving a little early room was available but it was like we ran over her dog! I walked into the dinning area just to see what machines the have and she made such a huge deal like I was stealing government secrets! She definitely needs a course in the hospitality world because she truly has zero experience!

Great and comfortable room and bed. Clean and fresh and a step above most. Staff obviously pays attention to detail. Staff friendly and polite. Great restaurants in the area and nothing like a "Hot Breakfast" with lots of choices.

Everything about the room was awful. Rock hard mattress, leaking ceiling, running toilet that made an awful noise, stopped up shower, and the advertised indoor pool was broken and green. The entire hotel was old and rundown.

A++ experience, my wife was looking for a best western as she loves staying in them when they are available when we take trips. The front reception staff was very courteous and made our check in easy and fast as we were tired after a long day of driving. We would stay here again if were in the area, it was a good place to stop by and you should too.

Booking was easy and was given a room where I asked to be, Room was clean and everything worked, Hotel could use some updating but it is clean. The only negative I have it the pool is still not working. That was a big con for my kids,

This is the best hotel within a 25 minute drive so I recommend staying here if you're in the Eufaula area. It is a basic hotel. Room was cooled adequately and there was a fridge and microwave. Most front staff were friendly. Pool is closed. Fitness center is bare bones. I stayed here 5 nights as I was visiting family in the area. The bed was comfy. A couple negatives: the first night I was there, there were kids slamming doors and running down the hall at 10:30pm (which is not the hotel's fault)I called the front desk, and they said they'd take care of it. Then it started happening again at 12:30 am. The guy told me that he already talked to the kids and that they were doing “rodeo stuff.” The guy seemed dismissive. I'm not sure if he was confused or if this was a different group of kids. The other negative is that the hotel room doors slam. They're loud and vibrate the walls. So most mornings at about 4:30, I get startled awake by what feels like a blast of thunder, but it's really a nearby door. This happens literally dozens of times, including by the cleaning staff.

Had a great room and the breakfast buffet was good. Rooms were very quite and the traffic noise was minimal. Pool was closed for maintenance issues so didn't get to use it. Would stay here again when visiting family in the area.

The room was horrible. Rips in carpet, stains also, faucet broken off in bathtub, tiles cracked in bathroom, lamp didn't work, there was a Oder. There was a fixture in the lobby that was pulled down and the wires were showing.

I asked upon check-in if they had a computer for guests. She answered yes and showed me where it was. The next day when I went to use it, there was no mouse. I asked the same lady if she knew where it was or had one to borrow. She responded, "Oh that computer doesn't work, I think it's just for looks. I asked my boss if we could move it and she said no, just leave it there." ?????

We were checking out and the girl tried to charge us cause she said we only paid for 1 night when it did show for 2 nights by another clerk and the first clerk kept arguing saying no so please be ware of that

Very nice staff, friendly and helpful. Pool was closed and breakfast after a couple of days due to Covid. Other than that everything was great. Rooms are quiet so you don't hear your neighbors like you do in some hotels. Overall I would stay here again!

A nice comfortable room in pleasant surroundings.... Helpful knowledgeable friendly front desk management..... Interesting location.. I stay here whenever I am in the area.. And they have parking for my truck and boat.

Nice Hotel, comfortable bed, standard breakfast. Cleanliness of room not up to Best Western usual standards. Carpet in room as well as upholstered chair extreamly soiled and unsightly. Not a good look.

In bad need of updating, room had big stains in carpet and furniture. Bed was clean and comfortable. Maid tried to enter room at 9am. Check out not until 11am. Front desk was polite and nice and check in was quick.

decent place to stay. No other option except bed bug motels down the street . A little dated but not bad. I would stay here again They have a indoor pool but it is not heated . The shower was broken as it was coming out of the tub spigot and shower head the same time.

this was a very nice place to stay with friendly staff that was very helpful. I have nothing bad to say. Very nice size rooms. Breakfast was good. quick check in and check out. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family members.

Super disappointed with this hotel. The rooms weren't bad, but there was no air in the hallways and the elevator was broken, so you felt like you were suffocating anytime you left the room. The part that really concerns me - I accidentally forgot my personal pillow when we left, so we called the same day and were told they have a 30 day policy where they hold onto the item to be picked up and they would place my name on the pillow. We asked to be contacted by the manager to discuss mailing it and were never contacted. We called to make sure it was still there a week and a half later and no one could find it. After pressing for answers the manager said someone had taken it home (GROSS) but that she would have them bring it back. I was unable to pick it up on the planned day because it still was not back. When I did finally get confirmation that it was back, it had not been dry cleaned (as told by the manager that it would be by that date). I took it and dry cleaned it myself, but am totally disgusting by what happened and how it was handled. Will not be staying here again.

AC on the second floor was not working making the hallway 90+ degrees and having to run the AC in our room on high the entire stay to make it somewhat comfortable. Said something to the front desk and was told they've said something to the owner several times. To top off our stay the elevator broke our second day there. I will sleep in a tent on the side of the highway before I stay here again.

I was sent to 2 rooms that were already occupied, then charged for 2 rooms instead of the one I stayed in. Nobody wants to help either! How does this happen this day and time. Traveling alone and sent to rooms with people in them! No excuse!

Not much I can say bad about the place. The room was clean and comfortable. Didn't use the exercise room or pool but they are there. The drive into town is not far. If you find yourself traveling through the area and need a place to spend the night, you would not go wrong here.

Hotel was clean, smelled good and great air conditioner which are my 3 criteria in a hotel. It was easy in easy out in a out of the way location. Shower was great with good pressure and soft water. Would stay there again.

1) We selected this hotel because it advertised a fitness center. My husband even called the desk prior to reserving to make sure there was fitness equipment. The night we checked in, the clerk confirmed yes, the fitness center was around the corner and it opened at 6 am. At 6 am, I tried to gain entrance to the fitness center with my room key. It did not work. Went to the clerk at the desk. She brought a bunch of keys and none of them worked. She said, "Yes, I tried to get another guest in there the other day and couldn't." If there was an issue, why didn't they either fix it or stop telling people they have a fitness room? 2) Our TV only got the Weather Channel. We called the front desk and the clerk came, but could not fix it. 3) I picked up the bath plug off of the side of the tub and it was slimy. 4) For breakfast, only waffles and yogurt available.

I was checked into a room that was extremely dirty. Beer bottles laying around, trash on the floor, a full trash can, nasty bathroom and toilet. I called the front desk. They put me in a new room but the new room didn't have a plug for the bathtub and I had 2 small kids(3&1YO) and the heater would make en extremely loud noise every time it would kick on.

the staff are absolutely amazing so very nice this is absolutely were we will be staying again ! the motel was very clean the staff were very friendly the pool was indoor and warm the rooms were beautiful and the bed was the most comfortable bed ive ever slept in in my life.

It was clean and comfortable but does need a little updating. Previous reviews of hot water not available was also something we experienced. All in all for a small town with not many choices this is the best one, and yes we would stay there again.

We visited family in Oklahoma and needed a place to stay. Staff were nice but she didn't know how to work computer and they had to call management to come and check people in. Besides that the pool was great breakfast was good and rooms were clean! - Jacob M

The front desk was lined up to check in and took forever, the internet was so slow it was ridiculous, our room smelled like urine, and I woke up to an ice cold shower with a filthy mold filled shower curtain! I called the front desk to let them know that I didn't want to be charged for the first night and they assured me the manager would call me. to discuss. They did come and drop off a clean shower curtain - but I had to ask housekeeping to put it up! The manager NEVER called and I got charged for both nights. Won't stay here again!

My mom had fallen at her sister home and the staff at the hotel was great in helping me with suitcases and her walker no matter what time of day it was... Breakfast was easy to manage which made it easier to make sure mom got a hot meal....

This motel needs to be updated. The price has increased but no updates or remodels. Motel smell moldy and some other travelers were checked in a room that was not even cleaned. Didn't interact with a lot of hotel staff, but didn't get a very welcoming feeling either.

Out of eggs, out of syrup, out of milk and cream cheese was warm and runny. No hot water from 9:30 am till 11 am. they had chairs set up right outside the door for smokers. You had to walk thru a haze of cigarette smoke to get in the lobby. They charged me a $29 revnue fee to use my reward points

I booked for 7/6/2019, they booked for 7/7/2019 and when trying to check in the clueless attendant repeated call customer service. I did and got shuffled in voice mail 3 times. We was getting late for the concert so got a room at a nearby hotel (they was all booked). After returning home I called the customer service line and got a too late to cancel and refund story but he would try to fix it since it is at the discretion of the booking hotel. Run around and BS. So DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING. A case is open with BW and I will review the result here.

Picked hotel for pool, wich was full and looked fine, but apparently we where not allowed to use it. Front desk people kept telling different reasons why pool was not working. Stayed 4 days, First Lady said be ready in 2 days. Pool was never opened.

There are not many options in Eufaula. The staff was very friendly! The place is older, so not in perfect condition. But, I don't care about that, as long as it is clean, an it was. Only real complaint is Eufaula internet connection is not good.

I had a reservation in the Best Western in Eufaula, OK (1300 Birkes Rd) on June 21-22 (was assigned room 105). I was to check out on 6/23, however severe storms hit the area around 5pm on 6/22 and knocked power out to the hotel. I therefore cut my stay short and checked out around 6:30 on 6/22. So I paid for a room that I was unable to use, and then when I requested a refund or voucher for a future stay, I was told no based on some nebulous "reservation policy". So the hotel was without lights, air conditioning, doors propped open with chairs, windows that couldn't be opened, and yet I was still expected to stay there? I understand that the power being knocked out is not the hotel's fault, however the reservation is a contract in which I agree to pay and they agree to provide an acceptable room. A room with no power, air conditioning, phones, etc. is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Not providing a refund or voucher to make up for providing an unacceptable room is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of choice of hotels in the area and I will grudgingly stay there again, its just disappointing how Best Western treats its rewards members when there's an issue.

Employees were very cordial. Rooms were nice. Food bar was average. Bit of a sour smell in the hallway and elevator. Employees that smoke, smoke at the front door by a trash can. Don't really enjoy smelling their cigarette smoke as we walk in. Maybe there could be a better place for them to do that. Would stay here again as the other choices in town are less attractive. Price was good.

This is a great place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rooms are good. I would like a variety of coffee creamers and teas. The breakfast was good and hot. The indoor pool was not working.

We had been driving quite a while, and it was close to midnight. We decided the next motel would be where we stopped. The guy at the desk got us checked in quickly and seamlessly with a smile on his face. The room was comfortable and quiet. The shower was great, too. The breakfast was sausage, biscuits, and gravy plus waffles etc. It was a good breakfast. All of this was under $100! Good place.

We had a family funeral and needed to book three rooms. The staff got us all side by side rooms and were very helpful. Aside from our ac unit being a little loud the stay was excellent. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean with plenty of towels and soaps. There was a fridge and microwave that worked fine and also were clean. The place could use some upgrades for decor and style but it was also under $100 for a non-smoking double queen room. Facility was secure, pool was small (indoor) but nice. The breakfast had a good selection as well. Would definitely stay again.

Several things need major repair including indooor pool. There was no coffee available except for breakfast, no lotion in room. The maintenance man was watching tv several times when things needed attention. The man at the front desk in the mornings was rude. However, the women at the front desk were great. Won't be back unless necessity.

The lady at the front desk in the evenings greets you with a smile. She is very kind and goes out of her way to make sure your check-in goes smoothly. In the mornings the breakfast area is clean and the food assortment is tasty.

Everything about this Best Western was just fine but not great. The thing I like the best was the carpet. No kidding. It is the prettiest carpet I have seen in a hotel in years. The room was fine and comfortable. This is convenient stop between St. Louis and Dallas and we will probably stay again.

This is an OLD hotel that has had the rooms updated. The halls are not updated as recently. The room is clean comfortable and secure. I had a minor problem with the wall AC that rectified itself. The breakfast included scrambled eggs sausage waffles cereal banana apple yogurt. And was worth going to breakfast.

Hapy with accomodations.Everything worked and the staf were friendly. Good experience and will utilize them again in thfuture so as not to be uncertain how good my accomadations will be. Others staying there in our group were expressing their happiness with their rooms and the helpfulness of the staff.

The hotel seemed a little run down in places, but everything that I needed worked... internet, TV, hot water, A/C, security, etc. The bed could have been more comfortable. It seemed a little worn out. Complimentary breakfast was good. Staff was nice and polite. Coffee was good. The check-in/check-out staff were nice and helped me find good places to eat in Eufaula.

I recommend this hotel. The front desk staff is very helpful and very polite. Free breakfast was always early and good variety. The location is very easy to access. Their front desk gives you maps to local restaurants and attractions.

It was fantastic we try to stay there as much as we can because of its close proximity to a lot of Lake activities down by the staff is more than accommodating! Lots of fun things to do especially in the summertime

They were all very clean room. There was a heated Indoor Pool. They provided a Free Continental Breakfast. Nice selection of cable channels. The fridge and microwave were clean and worked great. Overall it was a very good stay! Thanks again!

I stayed here five days while visiting family. I'll start by saying the staff was nice and helpful and the breakfast was good. Other than that, it was very disappointing. This motel is next to the highway and the road noise is loud. My first room had little heat and the thermostat in the second didn't work well. While trying to adjust the heat, I found black mold caked on the exterior of the air/heating unit. The furnishings were old and dated, the linens had seen their better days, there were stains on the bedspread and the carpeting was worn and dirty.

This place is a godsend out here!! It has wonderful rooms and great service! The front desk was great at getting us settled and in the best room locale!! The pool looked nice but forgot to bring my suit! Plenty of room for parking even with a trailer or a boat!!

Wanted to stay convenient to family living at Arrowhead for Thanksgiving, usually stay in Marriott or Hilton chains but at least this hotel has interior guest room doors. Free breakfast wasn't bad, bed/linens comfortable, places to eat nearby. Just very plain and simple. Tub and shower seemed thrown together with cheapest, flimsiest materials, everything was loose and I'll fitting. It was ok is all.

Everyone was very helpful and polite. They told us places to have dinner near the hotel. Its an out of the way hotel near the Lake and if I were a fisherman I"d love this hotel. I will tell all my friends who travel as much as we do that this hotel is a must to visit.

Newer Best Western. Registration staff was courteous and helpful with restaurant selections for supper. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast selection was more than enough.

I was happy to find a hotel and this one was decent and very clean. The bed was comfortable and they supplied a good breakfast. The price was a bit high for the area and the 18% tax was rediculous! I asked for a military discount and was quoted a price but when i asked the normal price the gal said they dont give discounts during the week. Why didn't she just tell me that from the beginning? It made me believe she was not being completely honest with me. That aside, it was a clean place.

Our trip here was for a family reunion; we opted to stay in a hotel because thru the corporate website it appeared to have a community hot tub. When we arrived we found that was not the case. They have rooms with a hot tub, but they cost more and at the time only one was operational. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. All together it was an enjoyable stay. The staff were very polite and I appreciated seeing the accommodations for hearing impaired and wheelchair bound individuals.

A good stopover point for us that we use when travelling. BW Eufaula OK is very clean, comfortable and the staff are very obliging. An adequate breakfast is provided and good wi-fi. An added bonus is the indoor pool and gym.

We have stayed here every time that we are going to be near the area. We go out of our way to stay here and so should you. It is a nice safe comfortable place to land after a long day. The staff is helpful and you feel welcomed there.

TV/ satellite wouldn't work and they didn't know how to fix it. I think something could have been done or tried? Pool was closed. Both would have been nice to have after a long day. other than those 2 things everything was ok. Staff was nice just couldn't take care of everything

If you enjoy sleeping in a bed with excessive hair and dustballs you have found yourself a gem....if that is not your preference do yourself a favor and drive down the road. As far as the help they were friendly when they weren't gossiping about whoever they knew that got 2 years probabtion.

This is a nice enough Best Western. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was standard and the staff was helpful. Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed. We had just driven an 8 hour day and had counted on letting the kids swim to get some wiggles out. Had we known the pool was closed when we made our reservation, we would have picked a different Best Western. I assume this is a temporary situation, so I didn't remove a star for the pool being closed. Overall it is a good basic hotel that includes a free breakfast.

It okay for a lake area hotel. It was clean and the breakfast was good. Had to wait on coffee to be made' Our stay was a holiday week day and the hotel was full. Staff at front desk was patient and did a good job.

Location was great and air conditioner worked very good. Breakfast hours need to be to at least 10 Am. It ended at 9:30 am and they closed it downs sharp at 9:30 am with no exceptions. Extend hours of breakfast as a lot of lake visitors attend this hotel.

My daughters and I spent three nights in Eufaula and found the motel room quite satisfactory. The staff was very helpful. The lady on duty was very friendly when I made the reservation. In addition, she provided extra assistance with check in.

Good value basic hotel. If you are looking for somewhere near the lake or passing through and want an upgrade over a motel at a reasonable price then this is the place. Breakfast is good enough for the price point, room are clean.

We stayed in this hotel for a Family Reunion and the room had so many problems. No One except the Housekeeping Staff seemed to care. The air conditioner leaked out into the room and it was like walking around in a swamp. This made the room very musty and smelled like mold. They know they can fill the rooms due to the lake and all the fishermen there for tournaments so it did not matter that I was unhappy.

A combination of very prominent highway noise and a loud air conditioner made the sleeping a problem. Neither my wife and I had a restful sleep. If you must stay here, request a room as far from the highway as possible.

I would recommend the Best Western in Eufaula, Oklahoma. The hotel provided a complete Breakfast, the bed was very comfortable, the internet worked well, and the staff was very professional. I only stayed one night, but I would stay there again. It is conveniently located near Highway 69.

My daughter and I spent a few days in my home town to see family and friends. This motel was very nice and took good care of us. I do not like this survey insisting I use so many letters. This is the only thing that bothers me.

The hotel was being held together by tape Such a nightmare We had 4 rooms nothing worked in the rooms and the walls were like paper thin They don't seem to care about the issues on hand and just ignoring the situation at hand Go to the next exit

Overall experience was not bad. A little close to the interstate but room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was just right. Nothing heavy. Light and fulfilling. The only thing I had an issue with is my preference of pillows. I should have taken my own.

The hotel staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The beds were a little firm for me but still comfortable. Rooms were clean and really liked the variety of channels on the TV. The breakfast was good for what they are calling a continental breakfast. They do have hot food available. They are basic but good. The area was kept clean too. The only problem that I saw was a little mildew on the tub along the lip of the side where the side meets the tub (hard to see area) Something that would be easily handled.

Stayed 1 night. In town for golf tournament. Front desk lady was very nice when we checked in. Room clean. Beds a little firm, but had comfy pillows and crisp clean sheets. Big gap in door frame left light shining in room from hallway all night. Room was very quiet. A/c worked. Breakfast decent.

Staff didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome or comfortable. Something smeared on the desk top. It was more like what I'd expect at Quality Inn than Best Western. Too little staff available at check-in and too little staff available later when information about the area was needed. The coffee was good and the breakfast was very average.

I feel safe and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast ends to early when you have checked in late, even if they would put away the eggs, gravy and sausage, waffle mix but leave out the fruit, cereal, rolls, toast, until 10:30 would be nice.

I was quoted a cheaper price on the Internet when I made my reservations. After staying in the motel for two nights I went to check out and found out my bill was a lot higher than what I expected I told him I was quoted a cheaper price and the only thing the check out for what say was at times the Internet price is incorrect I feel if you were quoted a certain price that is the price you should be charged I had to pay it because my stay there was over I felt like I had no other choice The check out for did not at any time apologize for the inconvenience or the mix up all that she would say was the Internet price is sometimes different to me that his poor service and false advertisement my family Will never stay at this Best Wertern again.

Was not told this is a pet friendly hotel. Barking dog was placed directly across the hall from us. Hotel was under booked and pets could easily have been placed in another wing. We should have been given a choice on this matter at book-in.

The remote did not work and the A/C & heat did not work correctly. I checked out at 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon and had not been in the room. They charged me a full day's room charge and nothing was used in the room. I find that pretty chippy. I would have gladly paid a partial rate but that was not acceptable. Even with the difficulties with the A/C and TV Just a very poor experience

Second stay at this hotel. It was a pleasant stay once again. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the TV & WiFi worked just fine. Although, the front desk person uttered an expletive as I was approaching the desk to check in. It was not directed at me (I think she was flustered with several people waiting to check in), but that was not so nice! I did ask for a special rate in accordance with the conference I was in town for, but she was unable to change the rate but did make a note. When I checked out, I mentioned it again and the front desk person said she would let the manager know and I should see the difference credited to my card. It was done within just a couple of days. Thank you!

We stayed 4 nights here. Clean, comfortable, quiet spacious room. Staff was wonderful, absolutely nothing negative to say about this motel. Would highly recommend this as probably the best motel in the area.

Traveling from Branson, Mo back to Arizona we stopped to see family. Had no reservation as this was not a planned stop. Came to the hotel around 11:30 pm and were fortunate enough to get a room. Opted for the Jacuzzi room and were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful room and a welcoming bed. Our clerk (can't remember her name) was so helpful and I felt she was truly concerned about our comfort and satisfaction. Many Thumbs UP!

Nice staff good location only issue was was with the toilet and a few spiders. But the location was excellent. Good tourist area. Breakfast was weak but it they did offer a breakfast. Don't come here to work out. Close to gas station, restaurants, largest lake in Oklahoma. Very clean, not much noise. Close to other historical sites and not far from major highways. I wouldn't mind staying here again probably will

The room's bathtub had an extreme growth of mildew. Did not take shower due to the mildew. Air conditioner was good would have rated the A/C excellent but did not remove humidity from the room. Bed was good. Just the disgusting mildew growth which I would consider unacceptable. Thank goodness the price was not expensive.

Great location, easy to find. Comfortable, clean, and friendly staff. Had a self serve laundry room, indoor pool, and the BEST heated breakfast at any hotel I have ever stayed at. Plenty of parking. Very close to gas station, lake, and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again!

I stayed here four nights. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice enough. The staff was very friendly. There were a few issues though. There were ants in the room, so we couldn't leave food out. The tub and tub faucet had dark, mildewy looking stuff around them. After they cleaned the room, I noticed that there was still powder from my makeup in the sink. Also, you can tell that someone put a lot of thought and effort into landscaping the whole place, but no one is maintaining it. There were little trees, weeds, and grass growing up in the beds. I enjoyed my stay very much, but they need more attention to detail.

It was late minute decision kinda night. Decided to stay another night in Eufaula, but in a real bed. Staffs were very nice, rooms were clean and nice. I enjoyed staying the night. I would definitely go back....

My husband and I along with my siblings and their spouses stayed overnight on Sat. July 16-17. After a day on the lake we checked in around 5:00 to clean up and go to dinner. So far so good, right? Wrong. Only one woman was working, and she spent at least 10 minutes on the phone discussing something with a prior guest. So we waited. Finally each couple got checked in, and headed to our rooms. As we approached our room, my husband and I noticed the door to our room was open--someone had flipped the safety lock so it would not close. Scary, but it got worse. The first things I noticed were the trash cans were full, a plastic knife was on a nightstand and the prior guest's keys were laying on a table. The bed had been made, and appeared to have fresh sheets. However, when I went into the bathroom there were no linens, that trashcan was also full, there was no soap or other amenities (shampoo, coffee, cups, etc.), and it just did not seem like it had been cleaned although I didn't see any visible hair in the sink, etc. My husband headed to the front desk to get towels and was only given 2 bath towels and 2 washcloths. I then called the front desk and asked for housekeeping. She said that they had already left for the day. I complained that our room apparently had not been completely cleaned, and that we needed hand towels, a step out mat, and soap. She said it would be 10 minutes before she could go get them for us!! We had dinner reservations and needed to start getting ready but couldn't even wash our hands, much less shower! Eventually she brought us the supplies, but the full trash cans which we had put in the hallway were still sitting there when we left the next day. I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all. Your choices near Lake Eufaula are very limited, unfortunately. So I recommend day trips to the lake or hotel accommodations farther away. It still haunts me that we stayed in an unclean hotel room. I had been told the hotel was full when I called that morning to ask for early check in so it didn't occur to me to ask for a different room. The management needs to take a look at their staff and hotel practices. We haven't stayed in a Best Western in decades, and this experience just confirms why!!

Had a reservation for this hotel but when I got there was told that I did not, even though I had a written confirmation from hotels.com. The lady was completely rude, essentially called me a liar, and did not apologize once for the dilemma that I was in. I can understand staff not acting well when people treat them rudely, but I was not rude, accusatory, or combative even though it was midnight and I had no place to go. Ended up having to drive to McAlester where the hotel was nicer, the price was cheaper and the staff understand basic courtesy.

Great hotel experience. It;s very clean nice & friendly. It is however a little noisy on the Hwy 69 side of the hotel but if you get a room that's away from that side, all is quiet on the eastern front!

Rooms were clean and quiet. The Jacuzzi tub in the suite was a nice addition. The only negative we experienced was the pool being closed due to the place not having a pool maintenance person to care for it.

Could be a very nice hotel. They need to have a maintenance person on staff to handle repairs on the weeke ds. TV remote did not work. outlet for hairdryer did not work. Indoor pool was out of service. Direct TV goes out during rain,

Room was nice, staff pleasant, breakfast ok. Room was next to highway and very noisy overnight. Also the heater in the room was quite loud we had to keep tv on just to drown out all the other noise. From looking at other options this does seem best if you stay here.

Probably the nicest motel in the area. Clean rooms, good service. Employees are nice. Parking is good, also have room for boats and trailers. Nicely decorated. Located just off the highway so makes it an easy stop when traveling north and south. I will stay again.

clean, well maintained, wonderful, wonderful staff. My two brothers and I went to Eufaula to fish. The breakfast didn't open till 6:30. The lady at the desk knew we would be getting up and leaving before that so whe had the breakfast out and ready an hour early. That is a valued employee. We will not go back to this motel because of the pool, or weight room. or the cleanliness, we will go back because of this employee. Thank you

This hotel was very clean and offered the best value for the rate. There are only a few hotels in this area to choose from and Best Western definitely gives more than it needs to. Best Western has free breakfast, WiFi, a fitness center, and an indoor swimming pool. The hotel was very clean and the room was big and comfortable. The other hotels in the area have the same rates, but are far inferior in quality. All they had to offer was a dingy room that felt dirtier than it looked.

Employees friendly & helpful. Motel has electrical plugs in the parking lot on each of the lighting poles. I saw several guest using them. Huge fishing tournament was being held & the parking amenities really provide what these customers needed. Food was fresh & hot & the staff handled everything very well.

The Best Western motel was very enjoyable. Rooms were very clean, quiet and staff was very nice. Beds were comfortable and also offered a decent breakfast bar, waffles, cereal, rolls eggs sausage and biskets and gravy was impressive. I would recommend and would stay again.

They were very considerate of all the fishermen and accommodated us with an earlier than normal breakfast. The rooms were clean modern and they had several outlets in parking lot to plug our boats into.

We had a good experience at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to a larger queen size room. The man who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby area was clean and inviting. The computer that is provided for the hotel guests to use should be moved away from the breakfast area.

The food is the worst we had in any hotel before!!!! The receptionist said they didn't have room in the first floor (king size bed) she instead gave us (couple) 2 beds in the first floor, my husband has especial needs. I asked her why you don't have a king size bed if almost all the parking lot was empty. And plus look the picture I took when arrived!!!! YUCK!!!!!! The price $103

The lady who checked me in was extremely friendly and helpful. She let me know about restaurants and fast food places near the hotel. The room was clean. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again if I am in this area.

Good clean hotel, bit hard to get to, friendly staff, good hot breakfast. My wife lost her wallet and was found and returned by a hotel employee. Substantial cash, credit cards, id, etc. all still there.

Great room with Jacuzzi Breakfast was very good. We played golf at Arrowhead, which is a very good course. Just not a lot of choice in hotels, but this one is the best and very good. If you like to shop in old towns, Eufaula has a lot of shops.

Stayed one night in transit to Dallas. Impeccably clean throughout. Excellent wi-fi and good breakfast. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. The best shower we have ever experienced. Close to restaurants and the lake. While located near the highway, noise was not a problem at all. Staff were professional and Charles on check-in was extremely hospitable. Has heated indoor pool. We will stay there again when we return to the area. Highly recommend.

The motel is located near Lake Eufaula, so lots of water activities are in the area. Rooms were satisfactory. Service was standard. Breakfast was normal for this price range. Best value for the money in this area.

Stayed five nights. Hotel was super clean, spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. Close to an excellent Mexican Restaurant a few blocks south of the hotel (Adelita's). Breakfast was the same each morning: biscuits, gravy, waffles, powdered scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee. Friendly staff. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Guests slammed doors until late in the evening and started again early in the morning. Other guests were singing loudly down the halls at 6:30 a.m. with no regard to people still sleeping. The swimming pool was down due to PH level being off and no one on staff new how to fix the situation; this was the weekend of Labor Day.

Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, modern decor. Close to highway. Helpful staff. The only complaint I could possibly have is that they stop serving breakfast at 10:00 and every place does that. (We like to sleep late.)

Our stay was comfortable for the area. There were some things like breakfast and some maintenance that could be improved. The entrance door was noisy and did not operate smoothly. The breakfast was not real tasty.

This is a clean place with staff who care. The room was spotless. But it is not luxury. The only work out equipment that was safe was the treadmill. The rest are made of cheap plastic and are scary dangerous. The pillows are horrible. Bring your own if you can. Lobby very worn but clean. Breakfast passible so just get cereal. TV is a joke....direct TV but 90 percent blocked or shopping channels. Wifi bad. The area however is nasty. Hotel backs up to a jail and near a filthy Loves truck stop. Weeds and broken cars and junk all down this broken down road that leads to the hotel. But the staff is the best and will do their best to make it a good stay. This is the only real choice in Eufaula. The other hotels are hooker places. They sell out a lot and seem to have return guests.
