Best Western Stanton Inn

Clean comfortable rooms with good hot plentiful breakfast. Kind of expensive comparatively. The location was good in a small town near the recreational opportunities that I was looking for. That part of Wisconsin has great birding!

What a great hotel! Stayed here to attend a Packers game. Only 30 miles from Green Bay, so much cheaper than the hotels in Green Bay. Hotel is modern and very clean. Good breakfast and friendly staff! Great pool and hot tub! Very comfy beds and there is a Walgreens and Walmart close, even though a small town. Lots of good local restaurants too!

Hotel was extremely overpriced and in addition, we were charged an early check in fee despite being in a wedding block. Management definitely took advantage of this knowing we would have to get ready for the wedding.

We got there at 1:33 pm, check in was at 3:00 pm. If you want to check in early you have to pay a $20.00 fee. Never have heard of this in my life! Worse yet, at 8:30 AM the next morning, they knocked on our door to clean. We checked out at 9:30, hour and a half early. If they charge for early check-in they should reimburse for early checkout.

Room cleanliness was exceptional. Pool was very clean and refreshing. Hot breakfast was awesome. Hotel was close to to restaurants and other activities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet location with ample parking

The desk clerk spent more time on her pack of cigarettes than behind the counter. The breakfast area of still a mess at 1PM We did enjoy our stay but there is nothing open on a Sunday night after 8PM for dining.

At first we thought the bed was too soft, but no, we slept great!!! The pool was clean & hot tub felt wonderful! The staff were all very helpful. I had a small issue with my key card & they pleasantly corrected it immediately. Make sure to have their breakfast, it's so much food, like made fresh pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, besides cereal, yogurt, muffins, danish, plus so much more, all very delicious! Will definately be back!!!

This hotel definitely does not take advantage of it being the only one in town. Our room was large, clean, relaxing, quiet, with updated furniture, a walk-in shower, ... The front atrium/lobby, with its well placed tables and chairs, was the perfect venue for family intersections re lunches/snacks, colouring book sessions, etc. The adults gathered there once the kids were in bed with wine/beer/snacks - it was a good place to unwind. The front desk receptionist was above and beyond patient with us, and the noise generated by the children!! The pool goes from 3 ft to 5 ft and is of a size that seems to satisfy those who enjoy swimming, or just playing around - the hot tub was also appreciated! Highly recommended!!! Thank you.

Very enjoyable experience when we stayed a night at the Stanton Inn at Chilton WI. Close to Road America. Nice clean and well appointed room, comfortable bed. Breakfast had good choices and fresh. We recommend Stanton Inn. Chilton WI.

We found the Stanton Inn to be clean, have good internet service and friendly staff. The hot breakfast includes several options and the eating area is open and welcoming. While there is no fitness room onsite, guests can use the fitness center across the street at no charge, a very nice accommodation. Guest laundry services easy to access.

I was very pleasantly surprised, this was the cleanest hotel I think I have ever stayed in!! The room I was in was updated as well. It was a very relaxing mini vacation. Pool, hot tub also very clean and perfect temperatures!

Delicious hot breakfast. Very clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained building and rooms. Close to a few restaurants and even a concrete stepping stone path to McDonald's. Exterior of the building and landscaping was very well maintained

The hotel was great! The rooms are big enough for two pack n' plays and there is a McDonald's with a play place right across the lawn, as well as a nearby outdoor playground nearby. Great experience overall!

Nice gem in the middle of nowhere. Clean rooms, quiet place. Stayed in a suite. It was very big. Not much around the area, but good home base to up to Green Bay. Will stay here again for sure. Breakfast was good.

This hotel has a great breakfast. Many food options. While I had a problem with the bill, once I spoke to the manager I found out that the difference that they overcharged me was refunded to my credit card. I didn't know if I was going to have a problem or not with it so I was very happy that it was very simple and quick. It does not have a freezer in the refrigerator and it has drapes that don't close all the way to block out the light there's sheer drapes that cover the window but that doesn't help in the morning when the sun comes in

Breakfast was good, rooms were spacious & clean, parking was good, accommodating staff, and good location. It seemed to be pretty new and well maintained. It was a good value. I would definitely stay there again.

We as a family really enjoyed our stay. The staff there were excellent. I would highly recommend it to whoever goes to the area. Went there to visit some friends in the area. They have a good breakfast and the swimming pool and hot tub was great.

We travelled here with family. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. Next door had fish fry on fridays, which was wonderful, everybody loved it! Their rooms were upstairs. There is no elevator so my mom and I stayed downstairs for accessibility. Unfortunately, the folks next door were loudly arguing until 0300. Then, a noisy bunch were talking and laughing in the hall between 0200-0300. Mom slept thru it. Luckily, the morning breakfast has lots of coffee available. The kids played in pool again, had breakfast and loved every minute. I made sure to vent how happy I was with the noise until some guy in a suit hung his head. The facility is really, really nice. Unfortunately, you can't screen out the neighbors.

Delicious and broad variety of breakfast foods! Friendly staff and clean place! We stayed as a family with 5 young kids and really enjoyed it! We have gone back to stay at this hotel because of such good food, service and cleanliness.

I loved the modern renovation with the historic photos throughout the hotel. Very clean and comfortable room with a balcony and large sitting area. My boyfriend was so impressed with the shower head being tall enough for him to stand under. Best breakfast with a variety from waffles, burritos, awesome hashbrown patties filled with bacon, egg and cheese, cereal, sausage, 2 kinds of eggs, lots of drinks all included. All the staff was awesome.

We stayed here for a wedding. Just one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel was very clean. You could tell they take covid seriously here. This stay was better than my recent stay at a Holiday Inn!

We had a two-night stay at this Best Western. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar had good food and choices. The hotel was well-maintained and clean, inside and outside. Enjoyed visiting neighboring WI towns.

This hotel looks brand new and is very clean. Updated rooms were very quiet and dark for sleeping. Great showers, lots of towels. Breakfast was excellent, nice variety of foods. Pool and whirlpool were wonderful too.

Booked this hotel because it was close to Road America. It exceeded my expectations because their update to an existing property was amazing. Walk in shower was the best! You can tell the owner takes pride in this property. The complimentary breakfast was well above average. Staff, especially the manager, was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this property and am looking forward to staying here again when attending an event at Road America.

Best Western Stanton Inn was everything we expect from Best Western: clean, reasonable price, good breakfast and great employees. An indoor swimming pool and hot tub are available and a full hot breakfast are offered.

This hotel is extremely updated. Beautiful and extremely clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stay in many hotels in this price range when traveling. I have to say this was the nicest, by far, of all the places we have stayed.

Clean, quiet and beutiful place. Staff and owner are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the many warm options for breakfast. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We spent tons of time in the pool and cant wait to visit again.

Great hotel and staff! Had a snafu with check in and reservations which were entirely my fault but the hotel manager fixed the problem. Nice clean hotel, one of the best Best Westerns we've enjoyed staying at. Easy drive to Air Venture and they didn't price gouge.

Hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. The cleaning staff was very thorough when cleaning the rooms. The kids thought it was nice that they folded up the blankets and left the doll on the bed. They had a nice hot breakfast and my kids had fun in the pool!

Mgmnt/owner need to review rates for off-peak season travel dates esp. when less shan 25% of rooms were occupied esp before Memoeial Day, Very Well Maintined and attractive property. Tv Guide needs to be larger print for seasoned citizens.

Best Western Stanton Inn in Chilton, WI is by far one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. Clean rooms, great staff and wonderful breakfast. The pool area is always clean and have never had an issue with any of the guests while we stayed at this hotel.

This hotel is a regular stop for us when we go to the Northeastern part of Wisconsin. The Management team is meticulous in their cleaning and maintenance - always spotless! Kohler, Sheboygan and Green Bay are within 30- 45 minutes - and there are no less than 4 Supper Clubs within 15 minutes for wonderful down-home dining. It's a true pleasure to find such a roomy & well-kept hotel so convenient to everything.

I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations here! The rooms, lobby and pool area were clean and comfortable, all staff were polite and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when in town to visit family!

Was nice clean quiet. Had nice restful sleep, felt safe and secure. Was checked in instantly checkout was seemless. Chilton is a nice quiet rural town with a few big time accomadations. Had everything you need in a small town.

Very nice place to stay. Went snowmobiling from here. Trail is really easy to get to right from the spacious parking lot. Trail also goes right to gas station just down the road. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff and manager were great.

We've stayed here a few times over the past 3 years, and it has once again exceeded our highest expectations, particularly with the challenges of the current pandemic. Kohler, Sheboygan, Green bay and even Appleton are just a short drive away - super convenient. It's obviously well-managed, and we noted a meticulous focus on cleanliness which I wish we found in other hotels.....the pool and spa in particular were sparkling and well-kept!! One of the best values we've found in NE Wisconsin.....

This facility offers great value, clean and well decorated rooms and a friendly staff. I left my winter boots and the owner quickly mailed them to me. I was very grateful for the prompt service. I would highly recommend them!

we checked in super late. it was around 130 when checking in. The gentleman behind the counter was alright. Not the greatest attitude, but hey it was late. We went to our room, and it horrible The smell of cigarette smoke was so terrible strong. When i went back to the counter the gentleman did help me at all. He said that he would get to the bottom of it. i was in the hotel for four hours. I just paid them $125 for a room that I couldn't sleep in, i couldn't breath and they did absolutely nothing to help us. Didn't ask if they could move us to another room, didn't offer anything. When i checked out the next morning at 630 that smell was still everywhere. I checked out and the morning person did nothing either. Horrible stay will never go to this hotel again. I stay at hotels at least 2 a month and had poor service before, but at least they tried to make me happy in one way or another. Not this place good luck if you stay

My family gets together every year around the Christmas/New Year Holidays in Chilton which is my family's home town. The Stanton Inn/Best Western and staff have always been very accommodating and professional and personable! Thanks much!

We stayed on a week night. That might have contributed to the quietness. The room was clean, the pool was warm, the staff were pleasent and helpful and the mattress was the most comfortable hotel mattress ever.

The Best Western Stanton Inn gets all of the fundamentals right. The service was prompt and courteous, the room was clean and modern, and the public spaces in the hotel were nice. The decor includes some really cool historical photographs of the Chilton area. I would encourage the management to continue to pursue this theme. The property is clean and nice, but a bit vanilla- it's like any other generic but competently run hotel. We enjoy the diversity of Best Western properties, and the local photographs are a nice step toward making this property truly unique. A few more local touches might be just the thing.

Best Western Stanton Inn provides very good service for the price. Everyone was treated very politely and quickly. The location of the hotel is close enough to be convenient but far enough to avoid traffic.The facility is quite new, and parking is not a problem. This was my second stay at this hotel, and if I return for another client visit in the area I intend to stay with Best Western Stanton Inn again. One thing to remember when selecting this location is that it has no elevator, so if you have any limitations you should request a first floor room.

Staff was great. Hotel and room were clean as a whistle. Pool/hot tub looked fantastic. Continental breakfast had many options and was very good (maybe coffee could use improvement). My room was very nice and the showers/bathroom was really cool! Only thing I wish this hotel had was a BAR.

I stayed here for 2 nights. Very nice! Clean! Friendly! Bathroom was clean! Walk in showers. Place has been remodeled in the last year or so (it looks like?). Breakfast was hot, fresh! They gave me great places to go for dinner. The bed was comfortable.

This is our go-to place to stay when in that area for a Green Bay Packers game. It's difficult to get a decent room in Green Bay on a game weekend for under $200-300. Chilton is about 45 minutes south of Green Bay and it's easy to get there. We stayed at this location approximately 7 years ago and were super impressed with how clean the rooms and facility were at that time - while this time our room was pretty clean, it was not as clean as last time. There was hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, it didn't appear to have been wiped down very well and the corners are gathering dirt. Also there was a stain on the carpet in the room. It appears they have redecorated and the rooms are nice with plenty of places to put luggage and other items. The sink is separate from the shower / toilet (its own room with a door) and there is an awesome LED mirror over the sink, the towels were new, thick and smelled clean. The mattress was comfortable with lots of pillow choices and the rooms were quiet. Check in was pretty easy however the young man at the counter appeared to be exhausted and / or hungover, not a lot of enthusiasm. There is a well-stocked breakfast. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and checkout was a breeze. We'll stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing. If we had a question they were able to answer it right away. We had a probably with our key not working and they were able to fix the problem, they had to call the maintenance guy in but it was fixed in no time.

This hotel was great! Great comfortable beds and very pleasant staff! It was remodeled about a year ago so it felt like a brand new hotel. Fast and efficient checkin and checkout. I highly recommend this Best Western!

Brandi at the Best Western canton in Chilton was absolutely great. She was working long hours to cover for a shortage of help. Please hang onto this employee. Everything was spic and span. Pool area was awesome. Plenty of parking.....

A good hotel overall. The bathroom has a Weird shower with one glass pane and other end open. Shower head and water control at opposite ends. Breakfast was good but the eating area has limited seating.

Was going to a Packer game and found this place, its a little out of the way, but no further than where we usually stay for games and a LOT nicer. Price was nice and the breakfast was wonderful. Only downfall (for my wife who needs complete darkness to sleep) was the curtains did not keep light from the parking lot out,

The Stanton Inn at Chilton was a lovely hotel and would stay there again any time. Rooms are really clean, newer fixtures in bathrooms, good light around the mirror. We were lucky to get a room with a balcony which was lovely had some time to spend on it on a really lovely day of our visit.

Best WESTERN Stanton always is a great spot. We stay here when we come home to Chilton for to visit family and go to Packer Games. The Pool and hottub are great options and the breakfast is phenomenal!

Great motel, wonderful helpful staff, good location, nicely appointed room, very clean, quiet location. Manager heather and desk clerk Sam were very pleasant and helpful with requests and answering questions. Check-in was super fast. Location was central to the area and nearby shopping and restaurants.

Stayed at this hotel for one night while at the EAA air show in Oshkosh. Other 4 nights were at the Doubletree in Appleton. Would have much rather spent all five nights at this property, even though it was 30 minutes farther from the event across the lake. For about the same room rate, this hotel beat the Doubletree in all aspects. Highly recommend this property.

Secured this room the night before as we scrambled to find a place to stay for EAA (Oshkosh Air Show and Convention). It's deceiving because it's not as close to Oshkosh as it leads you to believe since it measures the distance across Lake Winnebago, not the driving distance. That said, the room is very nice and clean. Seems like it was just remodeled. I've had negative surprises with hotel rooms and this one was a pleasant surprise. I feel like it's a pretty decent room for the price. Just wish it was a little closer to Oshkosh.

Our annual visit to this hotel has always been welcoming, clean, quiet and friendly! Many amenities. Rooms and lobby were redecorated two years ago and they are not only asthetic but comfortable! The hotel is so quiet.

The Scanton Inn is an excellent hotel for the price. The bed was the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel and I have stayed in numerous 5 star facilities. The shower and bathroom is high quality and arranged so that two people can use it simultaneously. the breakfast was similar to most but a bit better quality with locally sourced pastries. I seek out this facility when in the area and need lodging. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, quiet rooms. Just a bit too much light coming in around the curtains. It was cool yesterday, so we didn't need the air conditioner. Breakfast was about the usual. They were having a customer appreciation night, so there was plenty of Wisconsin cheese to sample as well as beer, wine and soft drink and other goodies. They have a full-sized washing machine and dryer and they cost on a dollar each. Other places we have stayed during this trip cost more than double.

Just stayed one night for a family trip. Outside of the Best Western looks fairly ordinary. But once you step inside, the new interior really makes this location rock. The room was very comfortable with near new bathroom, carpet, etc. Nice sized fridge in the room but no freezer section to use to re-freeze our cooler packs. Breakfast was very busy on the Sunday morning, but the staff worked hard to keep all of the food stocked and re-stocked. Would strongly recommend a visit when you are in the area.

Among the best hotels we have stayed at!! Very clean rooms and building. Well lit parking lot . Outstanding breakfast. Could easily set the standard for their competition. Just had a wonderful stay here. We'll be back.

We were up in Wis. from Chicago to listen to a band performing in Pipe. We decided to spend the night at this Best Western. The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are large and very nice - all decor has been updated. The breakfast was great too - no fake eggs here! Pleasant surprise and would highly recommend.

We stayed for 2 weeks with 2 persons, after a week of hard work, we would like to wash our working clothes. They couldn't put 2 dollars in quarters on the tab, instead they sent me to a closed bank. That's bad service if you ask me. Room is good, breakfast poorly.

Lovely stay. Fluffy towels, good bedding, accurate temp. controls, breakfast had nice variety of tasty fresh options, personable staff. Shower only, there was no tub option at this hotel. I would recommend this BW.

I highly recommend this property and the super friendly folks that run it. Treat yourself to a room with a fireplace for less than an standard room at any property would cost! Newly remodeled. No fitness center or elevator to access second floor. They maintain an agreement with the fitness center across the street. Would definitely return.

Since it's remodeling/ refurbishing last year, this Best Western is even a nicer place to stay, whether for just a rest or, in our case, a family Christmastime reunion. The staff is friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist. Thanks much for making our stay so enjoyable!

An extremely well-maintained hotel. It's convenient, clean and cozy - with 2 classic Wisconsin Supper Clubs less than 20 minutes away! The management obviously takes great pride in this place - and it shows.We make it a point to stay here whenever in the area.

We want to stay here. Be ready to pay a higher rate during local events. The pool/hot tub area is well taken care of .FYI: there is no elevator to second floor, they do accommodate if requested.The housekeeping in the entire hotel is superb!

I have two small children both of which are picky and light sleepers. The room was spacious and very comfortable and quiet even though it was right next to the lobby. Breakfast was much more than expected.

We stayed here two years ago and the place has been updated since then. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The breakfast is basic with lots of options. The large muffins were wonderful. The only complaint is we were there two nights and when we came back after the game our room had not been made up. We left at noon.

This is a good, quiet, clean hotel in the middle of dairy farm country. We were very pleased with the room and got a great night's sleep. Check in was easy and Halloween candy was an extra Good breakfast and nice fireplace in lobby.

We went to the Packer/49er game this weekend and this hotel was a great deal. Heather checked us in super fast and was very nice. The room was spotless clean and very cozy since it was freezing for us (were from LA so anything below 50 is freezing). IT was about a 30 minute car ride from stadium, but it was also of the few that didn't require multiple stay during game days. The free breakfast and free parking is a huge plus too!! Thanks again!

Very nice, clean updated facility. The rooms were very nicely decrated. We will stay here again. Centrally located for sightseeing in the area. We did not use the swimming pool area, but it looked very nice. Breakfast was good, however it could have been attended a bit better. Some of the food was cold, Overall, we would recommend this facility.

Wow, did not expect the comfort, quiet and nice breakfast. Plus they let us reserve one night, not the two so mamy did because we were near for a Packer game. The drive up to G. Bay was only a half hour so win win for us. Very nice. Liked the little balconies. By the way, girl that was im charge of the breakfast was so sweet and respectful of patrons..she deserves a raise...

Great breakfast, great room, very comfy room, nice staff, and perfect temperature hot tub! Great location for central east WI. Easy to get to the several lake towns. Centrally located in a beautiful area.

This hotel is very well maintained, and all the employees I encountered were extremely nice and helpful. Hotel and room decor is nice and not outdated. Enjoyed sitting in pool and whirlpool area - very relaxing. Only minor disappointments are (1) heat/air conditioning is an in-window unit that has a red-to-blue dial to control to the temperature, rather than a digital thermometer - so difficult to choose an ideal sleep temperature and (2) bed was very soft, where you sink into it when you sit on it. Not ideal if you are used to a firmer mattress.

Very nice rooms, bathroom was very clean and modern. Breakfast was very good, even had a yogurt bar. Selections for breakfast was awesome. Didn't use the pool area but it looked very nice. April at front desk was very friendly and helpful in recommending a place to eat. The only downfall was Wifi wasn't working for us. Not a big deal.

This was the third time we have stayed there would have stayed there a fourth time but they were booked up. Staying there is a bit out of our way but this is the best hotel in the area no other hotel comes close! Friendly front desk people, clean and updated rooms, great beds, would highly recommend staying there!

This is the 3rd year that we have stayed at this hotel when going to events at Road America. It is about a 20 minute drive to the track, but it is through beautiful country side and we enjoy not being caught in all of the traffic closer to the track. The service is always great here. They have redone many of the guest rooms and they are beautiful! The hallways and such have all been redone too. Our room had a nice size fridge and a microwave. The complimentary breakfast was great and they started serving early for those who were going to Road America. There's a Mc Donald's right next door and a Walgreens quite close too.This is always our first choice to stay when going to Road America. It also isn't that far from Green Bay if people need a place to stay on a game weekend. They do have different cancellation policies for major events like the races at Road America. Just make sure you understand those and this is a great place to stay!!

For a town of only 3300+, this BW was a great surprise. Thinking it was built about the time the PGA was in the sreay, and everything was done right. Rooms were clean and modern. Beds were very comfortable, walk in shower was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was standard for a BW, but the area was kept clean. Will he visiting there again.

Nice room, overall. Hot food for breakfast. The pool and hot tub were great. Temperatures were perfect. It was especially nice having the pool area open until midnight, and with no kids late at night!

I have been staying at this hotel 3-4 times per year, for the last 5 years. I've never had a bad experience. Staff is friendly, room is clean, many options for breakfast. Their update was great, which includes an actual desk to work at, so it's a good option for both business and leisure.

Great staff very polite. Hotel was very clean beds were so comfortable and breakfast was good. Pool was nice and heated. Me and my kids would stay there again. Staff very knowledgeable about area and answered all my questions made sure our stay was great!

First: I stayed here while they were renovating. No first floor rooms were available and they do not have an elevator, so take that into consideration before booking. You should call to check on the current status. Now, my review: I stayed here a couple times in February 2018. I would highly recommend it if you are in Chilton. My room was very quiet and clean. I got a great night sleep every night. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. They have a free breakfast that was always fresh and tasty. McDonalds is next door and other restaurants are a short drive away.

Everything was great! The room was clean and comfortable. The people were friendly and efficient. I would stay there again if I had business in the region. It was a nice surprise to find such a nice place in a small Wisconsin town.

Nice Place to stay in Chilton. Very happy when this hotel opened in Chilton. Very nice pool and walking distance to several restaurants and shops. My family has stayed in the hotel multiple times over the past ten years. Undergoing a room revamp on our last stay so looking forward to the new look on our next trip.

I have stayed at this hotel previously. I have had nothing but a pleasant stay. Hotel was very quiet. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is more than adequate. I consider this hotel a "Hidden Gem."

The hotel unfortunately was under renovation but that doesn't excuse the lack of cleanliness of both of the bathrooms in the rooms we had. The lobby was very cold, the front desk staff was mostly behind the scene (maybe because the lobby was cold) and they weren't too friendly.

The experience was restful and delightful. We will be glad to stay here again if we are ever in the area. We wanted to stay an additional day or two,but were told that they were sold out for the first night.

The clerk at check-in was very friendly and offered express checkout. Comfortable beds with well above average bedding. The AC unit was not 'silent', but much quieter than I am used to in a motel in this range. Breakfast was a delight with eggs, potatoes and sausage as well as a wide variety of cereal, fruit, yogurt and so on. This place gets a 5 star in a 3 star price range. Stanton Inn sets the standard that all other Best Westerns should try to attain.

I never stayed the weekend I booked my room for. In an attempt to save $7, I booked a room which was non-refundable. Unfortunately, I booked the wrong weekend and was unable to cancel or reschedule. Spend the $7. Don't be cheap like me.

Very clean, Good value Excellent breakfast and pool area. Rooms are very nice and are large. Staff is very helpful. Outdoor grill and table is a nice touch to be able to grill a steak and relax. Wednesday night has a guest brunch in the evening which was also a nice touch.

This hotel is so nice and clean, updated and the staff is so friendly. Wonderful breakfast items. Just be aware if Green Bay has a home game the rates go out of the roof. That is the only complaint I have for this location.

If you're disabled, please request a 1st floor room since the hotel doesn't have an elevator. Great hot tub and pool is okay too. Rooms were decorated nicely and bed were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Waffles, eggs, sausage, american fried. All were good

Great place. Nice and quiet. Clean and a good value. We will go here again. The place seemed like brand new, but was several years old. Kept in great condition. Chilton is a quiet town and a good place to stop on the highway.

Can't say enough about it. The staff, breakfast, coffee, cleanliness, decor, comfort, Wi-Fi, pool area, price----all exceeded my expectations. I live in Chilton, but plan on giving myself a time-out at Stanton Inn twice a year, from now on. Much more economical than a monthly massage! :)

We just finished a stay at the above hotel for the IMSA races at Road America. From the moment you walk in you can tell that nothing is out of place and it is very clean. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were perfect, with a frige and microwave; also, a nice little deck outside with a table and chairs. Breakfast was great and there were snacks available throughout the day.(fruit and yogurt) We didn't get time to use the pool but it looked nice. I later learned at the races that this hotel is well known among the racing community for being a great hotel to stay.

The hotel is very clean and inviting. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and all the rooms I have been in have a musty basement smell to them. The staff is great and good hotel for the price, I just wish they could fix the smell in the rooms.

That's true, but this was the only hotel available that weekend for another Road America event. There was loads of air conditioning but we turned it off as unnecessary. We loved the free hot breakfast and the spacious rooms. I always judge a hotel room by whether or not you can get a hot shower, and this place gets a gold star. Plentiful outlets for electronics. The TV channel guide was easy to navigate. It wasn't the hotel's fault that with 500 channels, there was nothing worth watching. Cookies at the desk in the afternoon was a treat. One negative: no elevator, and this year we were on the second floor.

Our stay was great, They have the friendliest staff of anywhere we stay. I asked the desk for a several rubber bands and 2 plastic.bags no problem the next night I was back to borrow a pair of scissors and all with a smile. Short after we arrived we received a call asking us if everything was OK. We stay at Best Western when we travel, and we travel a lot.

Clean, friendly staff, nice pool/whirlpool. Eggs at breakfast could have been better but there were many other foods to choose from. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying near Chilton. I have stayed at much more expensive hotels that were not nearly as clean as this one.

Easy off the main road great people working in the front desk very helpful. Gave us help finding palaces in the city and the local lake. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was well stocked , Thank you Rick&Deb

Small town setting near to larger cities. Quiet. The only negative comment I can give is that the room had a musty smell. The air conditioning unit/heat source was older and may need an upgrade. Everything else surpassed our expectations.

We have stayed at the Best Western Stanton Inn for the last couple of years while attending events at the Road America Race Course. The hotel is about 20 minutes north of the race course. We prefer to be north of the track, rather than south because there is much less traffic than with people coming from Milwaukee. The country side north of the track is beautiful too. This hotel really is a great place to stay. We have stayed in 4 & 5 star hotels that could take some lessons from this hotel and staff. When we checked in I quietly commented to my husband that I didn't see any cookies out & Brandi asked what flavors we would like and they appeared. My husband is an insulin dependent and when we opened our room door there was a nice little basket of sugar free items for him. That's incredible that they noticed that & remembered it. There is a full hot breakfast in the lobby and snacks available all day for free. Our room had a microwave and a refrigerator which comes in very handy as well. This hotel is impeccably maintained. No stains on carpet or dusty corners anywhere. The staff here is amazing!! I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we are up in this area!!

Was in the area to help celebrate my Mom's 90th birthday. Since there was so many coming back to the celebration we needed to find a hotel rather than stay with her. We rented two rooms for three nights and I was very impressed with how clean the hotel was and the nice pool and hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying here. GOOD TIMES WERE HAD BY ALL!!

The title says it all! Good value, I checked in about midnight and the staff was helpful, efficient and friendly. Very clean rooms, everything worked in room. Only suggestion is real half and half (instead of the artificial stuff) for the in room coffee service.

Pictures online do not do this place justice. The outside is very clean and attractive. Decor is beautiful in the lobby. Guest rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Slept like a baby. We were only there one evening, but I would go back any time.

Upgraded us to whirlpool suite due to hotel whirlpool being unavailable due to construction. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and newly refurnished and the bed was very comfortable.

First time here for a Packers/Bears game. Inn was very clean. Very friendly & professional staff. Linens, towels not dingy & worn. Breakfast area also clean & tidy. Internet worked.Enough parking for guests. Room had refrigerator & microwave, yea. Room had small table & 2 chairs and did not feel crowded with furniture. PS-Country roads to Lambeau Field so be careful when driving at night. Next to McDonald's & it is so good landmark. Drove to Milwaukee area next day thru Kettle Moraine State Park on HIghway G (Even found a winery & apple orchard along the way) There is a

Internet went out (not the hotels fault) and they were on the phone immediately to get it addressed. I do wish the staff was more courtesy when I came down for a status.

we stopped at this motel for only 1 night but it was very comfortable. the motel it self was very clean. the carpeting was not stained the painting looked fresh. the beds were comfortable with 4 pillows, stylish and fluffy bedding. the soaps and amenities were very good. the towels were thick and absorbent. the employees were very friendly and helpful at check in, out and at the breakfast room.

The Chilton Best Western is definitely one of the best I've stayed in. The rooms are spacious with great water pressure and thick towels. Everything is kept extremely clean and looking new. The indoor pool and hot tub are a nice extra as is the free breakfast. They have the standard waffle maker but the scrambled eggs tasted much fresher than you normally get and the pastries are obviously from an actual bakery.

Stopped here prior to a Packer game and was a nice place. We had a balcony room which was nice to sit out on. The room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. There is a McDonalds across the parking lot but we had the free breakfast and it was adequate. Price jumps up for Packer games but that can be expected (although it is over an hour drive). Would stay again.

We needed a place for a class reunion. The Best Western was perfect. Would also be perfect for a wedding party to stay at. Very nice hotel clean rooms friendly staff and free breakfast was very good. We would stay again. FYi we got a better price online then trying to book directly from the hotel.

Our family stayed here and we all felt that it was a very nice, clean, friendly and comfortable stay. The rooms are nice and the breakfast was pretty darn good. The hotel as a whole seemed very updated and clean. I don't know how new or old it is but it had the appearance of a newer hotel. The hot tub and pool were also very nice and we all felt the staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices were pretty good as well but, of course, it is a bit of a ways from the bigger cities.

This is a hidden gem! It is one of the best run hotels we have ever stayed at- everything was perfect! Breakfast was good, really clean rooms and grounds, staff are excellent. Stayed here in September while taking in the Vintage Festival at Road America- it's only about 25 minutes to the track and very scenic!!

Was very happy to find a Best Western in this somewhat out of the way area. There are some nice supper clubs within 5 miles of the motel. The motel was very clean, breakfast was great, and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Affordable, exceptionally clean, and friendly! I have stayed at hotels in the past and paid triple for an experience like this. I can't say anything negative about my stay and will definitely be back. The free breakfast was great! Great experience.

Very good overall, with ultra-friendly staff and generous "guest appreciation" hours in lobby (wine, beer, light snacks). Breakfast is above the norm, with three hot items (scrambled eggs, tasty home fries, bacon), waffle iron, array of ceresls, fruits, Yoplait yogurt, pastries (large muffins, not the bite-size minis). Facikities include pool, hot tub spa, microwve and mini-fridge in room. Ledge View Nature Center is just 5-10 minutes away and a highly recommended stop for 1 p.m. cave tours. Our only disappointment was Room 120 -- which is damp and has a immediately noticeable dank odor. Even the bath towels were damp to the touch. That room, and perhaps others, need dehumidifying.

We arrived and found the hotel staff to be efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The pool and hot tub area was well maintained. It was a great place to stay. Breakfast was included and that was also done up very nicely and included both hot and cold items with a great selection.

Have stayed here many times, rooms are large enough and comfortable, staff very friendly, breakfast adequate, similar to Hampton Inn or other chains. This time the room was a bit damp, likely due to high humidity outside. But staff were helpful in trying to fix any possible problem. There are not many other hotels in the area, which worried me at first, but this one has been consistent over many years now.

In Chilton for a race at Road America (RA). This hotel was very nice. It was clean and neat, and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of channels on the TV and the staff was very friendly. I would certainly stay here again. It's about 30 minutes to RA. The food selection in the town was disappointing, but that's not on the hotel. Expect to drive to get your food or (at least on a weekend) expect to wait a couple of hours.

We have made the Best Western Stanton Inn an annual destination now, as we have stayed for a four-day weekend for four years now during an IMSA race weekend. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a staff and management that are super-friendly and helpful. Compared to the rates for other spots closer to the Road America facility, you won't find a better place to stay. We'll be back next year.

In my substantial travels I stay almost exclusively now at Best Western hotels as the brand has made a real comeback to quality since things changed at the corporate headquarters about two years ago. This particular hotel is located in an almost ideal place as it is very near Lake Winnebago and not too far from Lake Michigan and Lake Sheboygan either. The gorgeous farmland of Wisconsin with all its scenic drives and opportunities for outdoor activities of all sorts are only minutes away. The front lobby has been completely remodeled and even smells like a brand new building. The staff are hard working and very eager to take care of the guests. We stayed there in order to attend the EAA Air Venture event, and this hotel was close enough to get there in a reasonable time but not so close that we felt overwhelmed by the huge crows this event attracts from all over the world. There are several local, small (some organic) farms within a few minutes drive from this hotel, so on the way out of town it is a good idea to fill up a large cooler or two of fresh, Wisconsin farm products that will beat the average grocery store both in price and quality. The only trouble we've had is the very nasty tavern across the lawn to the north of the hotel which made noise despite the hotel clerk's calls to both the tavern and to local police, well past midnight. Even for a very loyal brand follower like myself that sort of experience that ruined pretty much the whole trip could be a reason to not stay there again ever until the owner can assure me that the noise problem has been resolved. I also find it very disrespectful and a bad business practice for the tavern management to not be sensitive to the hotel next door since more people at the hotel could mean more clients for the tavern too.

Decided to stay at a motel instead of camping and enjoyed our stay at Chilton Best Western. Desk clerk recommended a local restaurant for us to eat supper after we had drinks at the neighboring Eagles Club. Had a good night's sleep and moved on in the morning.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights while attending an event at Road America. It is about a 20 minute drive from the hotel to the track. This property was super clean, friendly and the amenities were great! The breakfast was great. There is a Mc Donald's right next door. The room had both a fridge and a microwave in it. The first morning we arrived at Road America and I couldn't find my credit card. We really didn't want to drive back to the hotel, so I called the hotel and asked if someone could check our room. Heather did and called me right back to say she didn't see it out. I found it under the car seat. I'm not sure that too many people or hotels would do that for me. Hotels in Plymouth and Elkhart Lake are closer to Road America, but not nearly as nice. I didn't want to write this review until we made our reservation for next year's race in case others would find out about and we couldn't stay there again. This is a great option for the Road America fans and not even that far away from Green Bay if people can't find anything closer to Lambeau Field. Awesome facility and staff!

Modern up to date facility. Nice room other soft bed and lots of pillows, hot shower, free hot breakfast with make-them-yourself waffles and helpful friendly staff. Pool and spa we didn't use. Only 30 minutes from Road America. I'd stay there again.

Traveling to Chilton on business, I found a reasonable room rate of $109.00 at the Best Western Stanton Inn. For that price, I expected much less than what I got; but I don't like to pay a lot of money when all I'm going to do in the room is sleep for a few hours and then head out to work. I experienced a pleasant surprise upon check-in: Our room was spacious, well-appointed, comfortable, AND reasonably priced. This is a modern property with all the amenities you and your family might need, whether traveling for business or pleasure. It has an inviting lobby, a pool and spa that are big enough for most purposes, and a housekeeping staff that seem to pay attention to detail. I'm a clean-bathroom freak and it drives me crazy that hotel bathrooms are never, ever cleaned as well as I would clean my own. This hotel came closer than most to having clean bathrooms. Loads of premium TV channels and free, fast Internest access put the icing on the cake. Feel confident staying at the Best Western Stanton Inn in Chilton.

Stayed there for race 9 years ago and the Hotel was perfect, it is still the same today. Great staff, clean hotel and nice well rounded breakfast. Great location to hit the local area. Nice restaurants over by Lake Winnebago.

Stayed one night on holiday while attending the Road America “RockerBox” motorcycle event. Desk help was pleasant and accommodating. I booked this through a third party booking tool and the payment seemed to work just fine. Cost was high for the area, but I guess it is racetrack prices. It is about 30 minutes ride to the track from Chilton. I was given a first floor room (handicapped). Everything worked and the room seemed clean. The bed needed to have the mattress flipped, turned or tossed out the window. There was a big crater from, well you can imagine. I guess I was tired enough not to notice much. The HVAC system is again one of those annoying on and off jobs that cycle. I wish I could have one that just runs the fan and cycles the compressor. Parking was fine. The hotel is close to a few chain eateries, and if you walk to city center, real food and drink can be had. Rowlands Calumet Brewery is a great place with good brews. Not an extensive food menu (frozen pizza) and chips. Breakfast at the hotel was pretty good and I did not leave hungry. The property is nice enough, but I wouldn't stay here for an extended time as there are better places closer to Elkhart Lake.

We stayed on a Sunday night at this clean, friendly hotel. The staff were friendly both in person and on the phone. They exhibit a caring manner. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the reservation date (I booked the wrong date), but the staff changed the date and accommodated us. We did not use the pool. . The food selection is great though: hot egg dish, meat (sausage), potatoes juice, fruit, yogurt, breakfast bars, waffles, etc. Cereals, Only drawbacks were, bit of a long walk to the ice machine (very minor issue) and that breakfast only goes until 0930 on weekdays, but we were all asked if anyone wanted any more of any food before it was put away.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and offered the best night sleep I've had in any hotel I've stayed in this year. The continental breakfast offered a variety of choices that even someone with special dietary requirements could find something to eat.

There are only 2 hotels Chilton, but it is not bad. Pool. OK breakfast. The room looked like they started a remodel then stopped. The boarder was removed and then the area was painted, so you had a flat line on a textured wall.

I have been all over the US, I would guess 45 states or so. This hotel would rate in the top two. it would be a no brainer to stay there . Sitting in front of the fireplace had a very down home feeling. I felt very snug and save staying in a little town big city hotel.

Great stay! Room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good - the usual continental with waffles and scrambled eggs as a plus. In room refrigerator was great for leftovers from dinner. Snow was plowed and parking lot was good even though we came in the middle of a storm. The pool is excellent.

It was one of the best hotels when it came to cleaning the room. I didn't have to ask they just came when i was gone and replaced the linens and towels without me asking. Very neat and clean. The staff was very accommodating and checking in and out was very smooth without a hassle.

Clean rooms, on time check in, and a great breakfast. Wonderful if you have kids that want to swim, but it is still quiet and private in your room. The prices are very reasonable and this hotel is 40 minutes to Green Bay Wisconsin. If your going to the football game and don't want to pay outrageous price for a room it is worth the drive.

Growing up in the area, we needed a place to stay for an event. We have three kids that love to swim and decided to try this hotel instead of the larger, and much more expensive resorts a couple of towns over. This hotel was great. Rooms were modern (as in new, not as in decor) and very large. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was generous. I was very impressed with this hotel and will stay again in the future.

This is a nice property with a good location. It was very quiet and staff was attentive. However, they did not keep breakfast items stocked, and even when replenished, it was not enough. This should be an easy fix for management.

I was surprised at the cleanliness and excellent finish to this hotel. This felt like a rustic lodge combined with a clean upscale hotel. The room was very clean, very bright and new looking. The bed was very comfortable. The lobby was also very clean and welcoming. The only complaint I have was about the breakfast. There was a selection, but the eggs were extremely poor. Advertising a hot breakfast should have something to offer besides something hot, it should also offer minimal flavor, which this did not.

I've stayed at a number of bargain hotel chains when I travel for business. I have rarely had the experience as I had at this hotel. The hotel was neat and clean on the outside as I drove up. The lobby was clean and comfortable as i walked in and the check in was quick and easy. The room was great! More than I expected and very comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay here again when I come through.

Two nights spent at the Stanton Inn were wonderful for a small town. The rooms were the largest I have been in for a chain hotel, with a king bed, desk, armoire, dresser, sofa, and coffee table. It had a refrigerator and microwave as well. The sink was outside the shower/commode room which is always nice in my opinion. The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows. Our room had a balcony, which while facing the parking lot did give us a chance for some fresh air in the morning and late afternoons. The breakfast each morning was exceptional...hot and cold offerings well presented and fresh...Danish Kringle was a treat! On Wednesday afternoon they also had a little 'reception' with beer/wine and snacks. That was very unexpected and a nice touch. Clean, clean, clean indoor pool and spa and an exceptionally friendly staff. All this for a really great price. Don't look further, even in near by Appleton as this place is a gem!

This is a perfectly run hotel from the room appointments with spa tubs to the breakfast and swimming pool/spa. No worries here concerning staff, cleanliness, or amenities. The hot breakfast has a large choice. The beds are super clean and comfortable. The towels soft and white. The bathrooms i.e. shower tubs and shower curtains look like they've never been used. A super place central to all Wisconsin's largest cities. Perfect!

The staff at this hotel are very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean, great shower and had one of the more comfy beds I've slept in. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold foods but they desperately need more seating.
